Braxton reminds me of myself when I was his age I'd get anything with Wheels stuck then call dad to come rescue me 🤣
😂👌
Sounds about right lol then listen to him cuss me out for an hour. Mannn I miss pops!
Uhh yeah, growing up on a farm, my Dad would have beat my butt. Tearing up equipment or wasting time like that was a no no. I was Brax's age driving a 500K machine, but it was not a toy to us. And we knew it.
It's Dads fault for not putting monster tires on the Cart
I wish today's parents would spend time with there kids like you do. I was doing the same thing years ago on my grandfather's farm.
Yeah - Good Kid !
It’s Like Take Your Dad to Work Day - Every Day!!
I was the same with my Dad in the Home Construction / Repair business.
Great Video Too!!
I’m glad
Same here man years on my grandfathers farm getting my Honda 4wheeler stuck 😂😂
Grandfather son would that make you his nephew
Braxton is gonna be a hell of a diesel mechanic one day. This is the best time to teach him when he is young... His future is looking bright..
I think it's so wonderful that Braxton Is able to learn something that he will always be able to use later in life
As usual is good to see the three of y'all working on engine together that young man is going to have something to remember the rest of his life when you got people that got negative attitudes about stuff that means they don't know nothing about a motor if you want to turn Emma's up to 1,000 horsepower you do it but I'm a Detroit Motor man myself keep doing what you do
Scam
@@goodlifecitytrucker wonder why they are doing this? The same channel told me that it was my lucky day, and that I won a package of gifts! Lol. Just wondering what would make somebody do such stupid shit?
Braxton have a great work ethic. He doesn’t wait to work. You should be proud as a father.
Braxton is hilarious always having a good time! Definitely awesome how he got the golf cart stuck 😂😂
Awesome dad 👍 working side by side teaching your son! This is the American way. Love the awesome content! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brax is doing awesome and gonna be a great mechanic, he has a good teacher. Detroits are great engines, one of the best ever, but so is a Cat. I say keep the Cat cause it will have more value than the Detroit, although I know you’ll never sell it. Cat’s are hard to beat!
looking good, i would want to change out that front balancer while i was at it. i think the cat book says to change it every 500k or 10 years whichever comes first. over time the silicone inside the balancer gets hard & then it stops doing it's job. changed one on an old 11.1L & it was like i put a different engine in & i think the truck revved a little faster too.
If kids today were out hunting, shooting and fishing and working on stuff like we all used to there wouldn't be half the problems we have in the world.... And I'm only 36, I'm not some 70 something old-timer that hates progress, don't get me wrong big respect to those fellas they paved the way for the younger generation and highest respect to them for it.
I love that you show your kid all these life skills. Mans is gonna be successful as hell. Just like his Daddy.
Peterbilts are supposed to be Cat.
If Detroit in Peterbilt you got taken advantage.
Besides Caterpillar purrs
I love to get one of those harnesses for my truck to give it more power you guys got it going on!!! yall are wonderful people with a big heart there's not many people like you and I left in this world
I've heard of 'Shade-tree mechanics' but you boys are 'Road-side mechanics' and I hope you don't become the first mechanic to be hit by a car while tearing down an engine.
The Convoy was a bust, $1.5M fraudulently obtained!
Does Braxton ever go to school? 🤔
Brax is always having a good time lol. Takes the golf cart mudding 😂😂😂😂
Your son there is a real good kid. Always excited to want to go off-road in all the toys, get em' stuck and always wanting to drive the trucks and even wrench on them! If I ever have a child someday, I want him to be just like Brax!
Start the nut back onto the stud then pull it out of the socket.
Tim : You like to break stuff and tell me later. Brax : Yeah thats the point! Hahahahaha
That is close to my house, I think they restore those machines to the best of my knowledge I could find out what they do with it my grandfather is close friends with the owners of the company. Love this videos keep up that hard work.
The time your spending with your lil man is priceless and shows what kind of stand up dude you really are bro. We need more dads like you man.
I love seeing how 3 generations work together and learn from each other the way you guys do, it warms the heart.
Man oh man! That boy likes getting things stuck don’t he? Last week it was the dozer, this week it’s the golf cart…what are you getting stuck next Brax?? Love this kid and his humour…makes me laugh.
I’m a believer in signs or omens or whatever you want to call them. I think this cam going out when it did (as soon as you said you were joining the convoy) was a sign from God that you weren’t supposed to be there. You are where He wants you, He works in mysterious ways. I understand and support your reasons for wanting to be there buddy but I feel that something isn’t quite right and something is going to go sideways. I have no insider information, it’s just a gut feeling. Ours (Canada’s Freedom Convoy) took a turn for the worse and my gut tells me that this one will too. I hope I’m wrong.
Condolences to Larry’s family.
You got a great kid there he reminds me of my boy always getting his hands dirty and wanting to help great job raising that boy
three cheers, for young braxton. from having his dad and his dads dad around.
not gonig to make it to convoy called that last video when you started working on the truck lmao hum
"Here Kitty kitty!
(Not enough left. Leave the Cat.)
I hope he's walking for atleast for 2 weeks and spit shine the golf cart. Also no driving 4x4 and the only thing that he would drive is a bicycle...
Wish I got that kind of experience when I was a kid.🔧
Hey braxx I’ll give ya a tip anytime you have studs or spacers take a paint pen and put a mark on it, makes it easy going back together especially oil pans, I know you can’t allways do this or sometime you paint etc,
Every thing happens for a reason you are absolutely right Tim 100 percent correct
Love to see you and Your Son workin Together. Hes gonna have alot of knowlage for the future and Memories. Dope stuff.
Awsome job Tim it's fun watching you and Braxton and your dad work on motors Braxton is going to have an awsome future sorry you can't make it to the convoy
Great video Tim really enjoy watching you and Braxton work on truck engine or get something unstuck that your son has buried in the mud stay safe.
Keep the cat in that truck. It’s too cool 😂
Tim Gentry look up a driver on UA-cam called Tiki, shnider just tipped him down the road for UA-cam while working, seems to have the right style
Amen on reality of life's physical end.
Rest in Eternal Glory!
I'm loving the UA-cam channels that are all about greed. Look what I'm buying I want this and that come on man just be what you were brought up as.
"Happiness is not having what you want, it is wanting what you have."
Just because you job is your passion doesn’t mean your greedy
Restraints buy new equipment and burners now are they greedy?
I definitely don't think Tim is greedy, far from it really. He's always giving and sharing with other people. I think we're all guilty of seeing something and dream about owning it. If you're willing to work for it, that ain't no problem. It's only a problem when we're not happy unless we always looking for the next thing to buy and not taking enough time to enjoy what we already have like family, friends and good health.
I stuck a cart on the golf course when I was about his age. It was a rental. Scared me to death. Those electric ones are very heavy. I couldn’t budge it.
Really enjoy the video Braxton is learning from the best 👍
We gotta get these fuel prices under control
you need a new president for that!!!!
@@crenninger1000 yessir we do
Condolences to Larry's family. I noticed that if you set Brax on something he goes all out including seeing what a dozer and a golf cart can do
Is there anything Brax doesn't get stuck lol that kid cracks me up!!
This shit is awsome this kids ginna be a master mechanic by 18 does more that most 50 year olds know
Braxton I'd gonna turn out to be one smart kid .. tnxs for what ur doing #FREEDOM
My dad never did anything with me and my brother so it's heartwarming to see you and Braxton actually doing stuff together and spending quality time together, I'm 51now and my dad is still around but we don't have a great relationship which upsets me as his time is running out and I have tried everything to change the situation but no joy. Thanks for your video 👍
Just put some blankets on a pallet on the forklift. Pull right up to the hood unbolt the hinges, and park the hood wherever you want to
Time for a lift & tires on the cart
That kid is going to be the smartest truck fleet owner by the time he's older lol
Rip to Larry's dad condolences to his entire family
Pretty soon Braxton is going to say old man it’s time to step it up that’s OK my oldest son is 17 let me Tell you what I never knew so little since I have teenagers 🤣
Leave it a cat. Glad no talk of putting a Cummins in, but leave er cat.
I love your dedication to keeping these old trucks alive and working. I have an 81 k100 kenworth cabover, an 88 freightliner classic, and an 03 kenworth t600. (All CAT) I have no plans on ever getting anything newer either. Reliability of the truck, and being able to do our own maintenance when we have to is an owner operators only edge nowadays to try carve out some profit.
Brings back great memories of me burying my dads riding mower so many times at about his age. lol 😂
All mining equipment always beware of freshly painted machines
Thanks Tim for another great video man sorry about the convoy shit happens thanks again
Parenting done right
Put a Detroit in it it would sound amazing love the noise they make
You were probably the only guy who would get out of the cab and go clean the "House" out. Brax at ya side... Not fully aware yet why... But knowing that the "floor" is in dire need of a STERILIZING mopping.
braxtons a good worker , I kind of figure that Oil pressure not getting there right beat the Hades out of the Cam
You better keep the CAT in the PETE! Start saving the Pete for UA-cam trips ONLY. Don’t use it as a daily work truck anymore. Special trips ONLY. Save on that old girl!
I like your thinking
@@Gentryandsons hey, If any of your guys are looking for a nice Chevy Duramax pickup, my father is selling his. 05 K2500HD, short box extended cab with all the goodies and only 124k miles. I saw how much you liked that pickup you gave your dad which was super nice of you BTW. Awesome son!
Better late than never my fellow patriot.
The time spent with brax and lessons learned will transcend a generation. Dad 🏆
Am I being spammed?
OK we are out here waiting ! Did you guys get the new cam shaft and the new roller rockers ! I want to see those new parts go online ! If you guys get on it you can still join the convoy …
I was simply excited to see the new parts going to the engine that’s all …..
Braxton should start his own channel , He is quite the young man
Hopefully the place that rebuilt that engine used quality valves! Especially if it’s a high horsepower engine! Hopefully the EGT sensor is in the right place? Because if someone cheaped out & put shitty valves or seats in it, those valves could have stretched & caused the lash to close up! That’s really the only way lash gets tighter! Is by stretching the valves from running the EGTs way up, or the valve seats moving around & pounding deeper into the head! Please don’t throw out horsepower numbers unless it was actually dynoed! You hear that BS all the time & when the truck finally does get on the dyno, it’s puts down factory horsepower if they are lucky 🙄🙄🙄🙄! Generic canned tunes don’t do you any favors, & most times they do more harm than good! The engine combination of the camshaft, injectors, turbo & tune up must be matched to make the engine run efficiently & have a long life! Are you sure it was rebuilt, & not just repaired? Because everyone I have ever seen rebuilt correctly had the damper replaced! That damper looks like it has a lot more time on it than 120 thousand miles! Also if you do oil analysis when you change the oil every 10 to 13 thousand miles, you will absolutely see when things start to go wrong! Way earlier than waiting for a noise to show up! Which at that point, it’s just about always too late! Hopefully it gets back on the road soon! You definitely want to change oil & filter if you haven’t done so already, & probably do another filter change within a few hundred miles, it definitely won’t hurt to put a big magnet 🧲 on the filter, to catch any metal that’s in there! It does work, I’ve cut the filters open myself! Best of luck!
Another great video, watching 3 generations working on the truck together . And I am glad that you just happened to catch the things starting to go wrong with the motor in time, before it caused major problems. I would leave the Cat in the truck and stay with it . I'm wishing you all the best with getting the motor all straightened out and back together with no problems .
I will see you all later, so be careful and stay safe and keep on working on the trucks .
As always, Jeffrey !!!
I think you need to leave it as a cat motor because the cat motor is the hardest thing can find now I mean if you really do it's done some dick and you can probably find a good cat motor but for right now I leave it as a cat motor leave it in that truck we don't need no Detroit
Comeon dad keep up! Lol Hey at least he wants to learn and work and not play video games all day.
I'll tell you gentlemen, this is by far the most interesting video that I have seen today. I'm thinking too, that your son is mature for his age.
1000hp fuck yea mate 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Hey what do you mean I'm lucky mate
Man I had a 89 1st gen.. when I sold it it had 89k original miles on it.. I’m sick I wish I had kept it!!
If you use the right parts you can get a lot of power out of an engine without having it break
What happened to the engine in Whiskey Bent?
U gonna b sick going to a stock cam… but if it’s just a temporary fix that’s not a bad idea.. buttttt…. That marine cam done the best.. and will out perform the stock one.. this is y u don’t have the heating issue also..
that is awesome seeing the youngin out there working like that great trade for him to learn.
Imagine that. Tearing more shit up
He just helping you with content 😆 ✨️
I run a 60 series and it runs good.was rebuilt company truck 98 freight daycare they spent 14000 and gave me the records for the truck.i paid 11000 cash for it
im almost 30, and i still head down to my dads to help with his logging equipment. Gotta love the every moment working together because nothing last forever.
You need a good truck with a crane on it to lift up the radiator assembly and leave the hood in place if need be
When I was 10, launched my dad’s golf cart into our septic leachfield.. yeah.
@what'sâpp+①④④②②⓪⑧④⑧⑥③ really you f’ing robot? You are everything wrong with our planet.
How’s braxs bank account doing? Should be doing good all the revenue from his trucks he owns
How or what trucks does he own?
@@mrmotofy from the first videos was said the channel brax owns his a truck and the channel proceeds went to brax I could be wrong but the first videos have been altered
Wanna see a high HP Detroit build
an engine always run the best before explodes! at least in my experience any ways!
Any suggestions for a 2000 Kenworth of the n14 looking for a tune love the channel keep up the great work guys
Leave it a cat you'll have more horsepower and torque plus the Detroit is a half million mile motor the cat is a million-mile motor it will last longer love the content man keep up the excellent work
Exactly!
Quit saying anything you ain't going to do like ill stay up all night working on this or Braxton want drive the golf cart and making videos titles that aren't real so you get more veiws so just keep it 100 and don't say oh motor has Carnage when its just a worn lobe on the cam, when I think of bad is drop vavle or damage that means blown motor or cracked head but we all think differently but I seen you do this many time and make things seem larger then they are so like your trucks if they are truly turned up then go up black mountain doing 80 full loaded weighting 80,000 then that shows the power and or dyno but just saying there running hot tunes or its bad means nothing without proof in my book and I have had guys who have said there car is fast when its not and maybe fast to them but not to everyone.....
Them turned up engines with a 15 or 20 truck fleet, over a 10 year period could burn hundreds of thousands of dollars in extra fuel.
You’ve gotta buy that heavy equipment
That's right Tim things happen for a reason get the old girl fixed up right she never left you before she won't leave you yet
Awesome Video!!!
Braxton is amazing, the washing machine has to work hard cleaning his clothes.
Make a shirt saying “You Been Braxtoned! 🤣
Good idea mate I know u wanna join the convoy but get you're equipment right first that's what I say
Hi from uk guys @ gns so sorry to about Larrys father in law rest in paradise my friend🙏💔 blessing in disguise is the fact the cat down now and wonder where brax got the cordless hammer idea from 🤔? Should call the kid " clay" always getting ""STUCK"" or getting ""STUCK"" into work to be done lol good on him👍 and wonder why them dozers and machines are sitting for be great to see them all cold started 💓💪 ghanks for your time be safe and see you soon👍👋
That kid is driven, and don't get in his way or he'll run over you, he ain't got time for it.
So much for those cam bearings
Before i watch the whole video i just wanna say: IMO you should take Braxton's driving privileges until he learns to not go bomb everything through the mud and get it stuck. Needs to learn to respect things not just beat on em and call you for help when he gets stuck or breaks something. I get letting him have fun and learn to drive different things but it comes to a point where another lesson needs to be learned.
Tim's parenting is exactly that. TIM'S
This boy is like 9 years old and already knows more about hard work to earn money than most 18-30 year olds. To say he doesn't respect things because he gets them stuck, is the most ridiculous comment I've read on here concerning him. I didn't get to learn the limits offroad until I was an young adult, and I still get stuck occasionally. People work hard and they play hard. It's obvious this family lives this lifestyle. When you like to play, modify, push the limits of equipment, and become skilled in all these, and shit happens and breaks. You just fix it and make it better. Go yell at people on your lawn, and worry about your stuff. Bet your kids can't do half of the things this kid does. 🙄
Apparently some people don't listen to their trucks and think a tick is normal!! Don't listen to the nay sayers!! You don't owe anyone an explanation at all!! Be safe and God Bless!!
You should get your little guy some coveralls
Braxton you’re truly blessed to have a Dad like Tim and work on trucks and cars and everything together and I love seeing that definitely would love to meet y’all very soon
