    I've been teaching myself piano from UA-cam for about 18 months and I can't believe I've only just discovered your channel, Christian! It is a goldmine of information and your humour is the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work!

    i enjoy your tutorials. i have watched this many times over the past year. I finally had a break-through and now made so much progress that I understand all the points you bring up. It took a lot of practice to understand the concepts, and now it will take even more practice for me to do this beyond the C and Am songs.. and i like your corny jokes. thank you.

    The best about fills ever I have found in the net.But it's difficult for me to get fluid with it, Often I don't no to memorize the different parts in the right moment. But I try and try. Thank you Christian.

    This is exactly what I have been wishing someone could explain to me! Thank you so much! I am good with chords but it is that forward movement that has eluded me. These fills are great!

    This is more than fantastic! I wish all piano teachers would teach like this.
    I've tried a few, but they are often classically trainer or just bad teachers.

    Took up keyboard when I retired a few years ago and have accumulated a few 'tools'. Had a teacher BC (before Covid!) but since then only UA-cam and books. I always end up coming back to your channel for two reasons. One is that I can always find a tutorial in almost any area and the second is your teaching skills. Always sticking close to the topic and keeping things in bite-sized chunks. Many thanks. I am focusing on comping from lead sheets, any hints? ;-)

    That 9 3 thing sounds like Floyd Kramer. How about a tutorial on The Last Dance.

    • @ChristianFuchsBlues
      @ChristianFuchsBlues  5 років тому +1

      Yep, Kramer played those a lot. May be he was one of the first to make this sound THE sound. Requests
      Hey there! I get so many individual requests, that the only way
      to deal with it in a fair way is to collect and see which is requested often.
      Thanks for your understanding! Christian

    Many thanks Christian. You are a door opener to music. I have one question, if it may be answered by words : is there a way to use the 9/3 fill in other inversion ?

    Mayo dressing (Belgium, Dutch, German?) = 3rds. Olive oil dressing (Spanish, Italian, French)= 4ths? My old music teacher was an English cook that’s why everybody says all my tunes sound the same (like they’re smothered in tomato ketchup) 😂😂
