I've been teaching myself piano from UA-cam for about 18 months and I can't believe I've only just discovered your channel, Christian! It is a goldmine of information and your humour is the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Weekse, glad to hear!:-)
'The mayonaise of the salad.' I love that expression and moreover, it is true. :-)👍 Thanks for all your very interesting video's Christian!
Dear Christian , I thank you so much, with your tips and trics my song are much..much richer.. LOVE IT !!!!!!!

Thank you for these awesome, enlightening tutorials. Truely outstanding!!
I have finally discovered a YT teacher and his teaching that will elevate my piano knowledge, technic and overall playing. I really need to replay this video many times over ...thank you
This is so helpful Christian. I'm really so grateful. Thank you so much.
"Sometimes just a little bit of mayonnaise..."
Love that you show these basic elements, and way of thinking
Wish you could do more pop piano stuff :)
Never stop yours tutorials
Great stuff, once again! Thank you.
This is so exciting so many times we get sheet music we just read it and when its cones to improving we are lost . Thani you so much yiy are not charging fot this great information . Your giving us keys to expression. Very nice
Thanks a lot, Roberrt!
i enjoy your tutorials. i have watched this many times over the past year. I finally had a break-through and now made so much progress that I understand all the points you bring up. It took a lot of practice to understand the concepts, and now it will take even more practice for me to do this beyond the C and Am songs.. and i like your corny jokes. thank you.
Great ideas in your videos. Thanks for the tricks
Wow! This is a new dimension for my playing. Thank you.
The best about fills ever I have found in the net.But it's difficult for me to get fluid with it, Often I don't no to memorize the different parts in the right moment. But I try and try. Thank you Christian.
What fun coming across your channel this eve. Seems Donald Fagan uses similar or identical types of grace notes... Danka SCHÖN - Cheers from Seattle - Keep rockin Mr. Fuchs!
This is exactly what I have been wishing someone could explain to me! Thank you so much! I am good with chords but it is that forward movement that has eluded me. These fills are great!
Christian you’re really great ,I learned more and more from you . Teresa 👠💝Miami florida
Bravo Maestro!! Wow what a video. Been following you for a year now and this one is a spring board.
Thank you soo much. If I ever get to Berlin, the beers on me.
Very helpful lesson for someone at my level of progress with my playing, thank you Christian.
This is more than fantastic! I wish all piano teachers would teach like this.
I've tried a few, but they are often classically trainer or just bad teachers.
You are Great Man! Thank you!
Thank you Christian
Super nice. Thanks
You are so prolific and so interesting !. Definitively addicted .
Thanks, and I am a legal drug in most countries! :-)
This was fun learning!
Amazing
Took up keyboard when I retired a few years ago and have accumulated a few 'tools'. Had a teacher BC (before Covid!) but since then only UA-cam and books. I always end up coming back to your channel for two reasons. One is that I can always find a tutorial in almost any area and the second is your teaching skills. Always sticking close to the topic and keeping things in bite-sized chunks. Many thanks. I am focusing on comping from lead sheets, any hints? ;-)
Thanks for always coming back! :-) Please go to my playlist . There you will find different styles also with accompanying paterns. ( but not typical jazz comping .)
I can’t decide whether to start jamming, or make a sandwich with mayonnaise! Thanks for the great video
Great work.
You have inspired me to try to put together a version of Candle in the Wind using these great fills.Though i mainly follow you for Blues(!) I would like to have an Elton John in my bag. I am now going to your Piano Fills XXL
That 9 3 thing sounds like Floyd Kramer. How about a tutorial on The Last Dance.
Yep, Kramer played those a lot. May be he was one of the first to make this sound THE sound. Requests
Hey there! I get so many individual requests, that the only way
to deal with it in a fair way is to collect and see which is requested often.
Thanks for your understanding! Christian
Nice Mayonnaise, & I don't even like Mayonnaise! Would Love to hear you play I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues in your style Christian.
Watching this video has open my mind about fills now I would like to know more about the fills because am tired of playing the boring chords progression .
Many thanks Christian. You are a door opener to music. I have one question, if it may be answered by words : is there a way to use the 9/3 fill in other inversion ?
Just search UA-cam "fills" plus my name and you will find all you wish for! ;-)
I'm back from Algeria lol thank's :D
Cheers :)
Hey Christian, great tutorial ..two thumbs up ! I got a question for you: does the 9/3 fill work as well with chord invershins or only in root position ?
Should do!
Hi Christian! I love your piano playing and the way you explain it. Do you teach online piano tuition?
Sorry, no..:-(
@@ChristianFuchsBlues no worries! I’ll stick around and learn from you. You’re so kind and generous helping anybody who wants to learn and improve in their playing particularly me. God bless your heart! I’m a fan the moment I found you in youtube.! I wish I found you earlier! 👍😇❤️
Mayo dressing (Belgium, Dutch, German?) = 3rds. Olive oil dressing (Spanish, Italian, French)= 4ths? My old music teacher was an English cook that’s why everybody says all my tunes sound the same (like they’re smothered in tomato ketchup) 😂😂
I am going to scrape every bit of mayonnaise out of that bottle. Many thanks.
Hi Christian, love these lessons. Can I ask if the midi file will play in Musescore so I can see all the notes played?
Yes, midi is a standard.
I don't know you, but I feel like I love you 😊🥰
Well, I consider that a big compliment! Thank you! :-)
Hi Christian sprichst du auch deutsch
Off topic , but your voice is perfect, like you should be narrating Disney stories or something. 🗣
:-) Thanks, I will write an application right now!
How many types are in a scale
I love Mayonaise.
Which makes you a good pop pianist!
