Wolverine: *says his first line*
Eddie: ight i'ma take this glove off
I was dying 😂😂
I was old boy in Rocky 4 when Drago was killing Apollo... JUST THROW THE DAMN TOWEL!!!
Wolverine’s first line so hard that he automatically had to deglove himself
Gloves were off
Degloving is also an injury term for getting flesh taken off bone...hence removing rings around machinery.
Another great reaction. The only thing I'm gonna correct is that hugh Jackman is Australian not Canadian but his character wolverine is Canadian. Keep them coming Bill Gates vs Steve Jobs Please.
In fact, Len Wein(R.I.P.) and his creation were both from Edmonton,Alberta.
What I love is that EpicLLOYD’s favorite hero is Wolverine, so you can definitely tell he put in the extra effort.
He definitely did. He spent the offseason, before they shot this ERB, working out so he could play the wolverine part as best as he can.
You know… EpicLLOYD seems like he could legitimately play Wolverine… He’s got the height… He can do the voice… and he has the dedication for the shape…
Now hearing that Wolverine is a fav of his really gets me to hope that someday someone at Marvel has him play the most infamous of the X-Men.
"I was gonna choose Wolverine, I do swear" said the man in the Freddy Krueger costume 😂😂😂
I thought the same!!!!!
just a thought. what if he owns a glove and hat but not a wolverine costume??? should he miss the perfect opportunity to dress as freddy krueger just cause he likes wolverine more?
Of course. It was a joke anyway. ☺️
@@ekubois in that case i apologize for intruding, i can't see sarcasm in texts so i assumed they are serious and wanted to share my POV. hope there's no hard feelings
@@frankcayseron8637 no hard feelings indeed. I think he actually looks very cool with the gloves and hat. When I saw em I was like " I need it too!!"
JACKMAN IS AUSTRALIAN AND LOGAN IS CANADIAN. Thanks to the first 75 people who posted it
Lumberjackman
Hey dude I would love to see you do a play through of Fallout 4 as part of the minutemen especially with some of the really cool little easter eggs and references in the game as a hole through out it lol.
Hugh Jackman is a 6'3" Aussie. Wolverine is the 5'3" Canadian, and about the height thing, I have seen this in the comics somewhere, I swear, with someone else. Freddy made himself just big enough to to put his crotch at front jab height. I really wish they'd let short characters be short for once. They don't even need to make him that short, just cast someone under 6' who is actually stocky. Stocky people look shorter than they are, especially on camera, and especially next to taller people.
Well, putting your crotch at jab height would be a really bad idea if you're facing Wolverine :D
Whoever plays Wolverine doesn't have to be short. They just need to do a wide, low, animalistic stance. Like the one from the comics. Or the cameraman could just pull an inverted Tom Hardy and shoot him from above.
well there is allways Puck from Alpha Flight, canadian superhero and he is a dwarf....if they ever put him on a movie. they need a stunt double who worked as dwarf wrestler as he keeps doing cartwheels and stuff
That last line "your face tells me you've met your match " he is also pointing out his facial burns which was lit by a match'stick' . Awesome reaction
Actually was a bunch of molotovs
Hugh Jackman is Australian and has a UK citizenship as well, he is not Canadian, though Ryan Reynolds has insisted in social media posts that Hugh was born in Canada but that was just part of their friendly rivalry a while back. Wolverine on the other hand is Canadian, born in Cold Lake, Alberta, which is funny for me to have learned since I've spent most of my life there.
Thank you. Saved me from typing that. 😄
Wolverine is Canadian. Hugh Jackman is Australian.
You should react to either Shaka Zulu vs Julius Caesar or Sigmund Freud vs Mother Tereasa next.
Wolverines are in the Badger family and are known for picking fights with Bears.
Wolverines are like Honey Badger... and we all know honey badger don't give a shit..
@@Eliath1984 Wolverines are just american honey badgers/ratels
@@Raptorworld22 Wolverines aren't "american", they live across the entire far-north of the world and honestly barely in the US at all. Canada, Scandinavia, northern Russia, Mongolia... and Alaska, essentially. It's not "American".
@@Arbaaltheundefeated Ah yes, because no jokes are allowed on the internet, and the fun police always have to get involved.
P.S. Canada and Alaska are part of North America, A.K.A the north part of America
@@Raptorworld22 No, Americans appropriating the whole damned world if we let them, that's what isn't allowed. And I think you'll find Canadians would be really salty if you call them Americans.
Ah Wolverine vs Magneto.
That pairing delivered one of the most disturbing comics moments for me.
That time when Magneto decided to extract all of the adamantium out of Wolverines body was something else.
That was OUCHHHHH
Yea that’s why I’m saying, comic books can get pretty dark.
Ahh dude I had the sequel to that comic where Bishop I believe it was had Logans skeleton in a vat similar to the bacta tank and the X-Men were trying to figure out how to bring Logan back
A funny fact, in the video Freddy makes fun of how short wolverine is, but in real life Robert Englund is 5'10" and Hugh Jackman is 6'2"
Comic book wolverine is tiny as hell though
its not a battle of actors, its battle of characters. wolverine is 5'3"
@@frankcayseron8637 I'm well aware of that fact, hence why I said it was a fun fact and not a mistake, as well as making a distinction between "in the video" and "in real life"
@@Kiernan5 Hugh Jackman is actually 6'3 not 6'2
@@davidalvarezbonifacio135 He is 6'3" according to Wikipedia. He is 6'2" according to his IMDB page and celebrityheights.com. A person's height can vary throughout the day by up to 3/4". Regardless, that information does not change the point of my initial post.
Sees the claw, knows what is happening.
Damn, it feels like a curse.
Well, if you were gonna pick Wolverine, congrats on breaking that streak!
Wolverines are part of the ferret family.
Going to pick Wolverine, but two cosplay pieces of Freddie. Hmmmmm
You are correct, Friday the 13th was 1980, A Nightmare on Elm Street was 1984 and Halloween was before both of them in 1978, however the movie recognized as the first slasher killer movie is 1974's Black Christmas. It doesn't get the same recognition but it was the first and heavily inspired Scream.
You backed the wrong horse again. No one can beat Logan, except clone Logan. Hugh Jackman is Australian, Wolverine is Canadian.
I think Freddy said "Eh" because Wolverine/Logan is Canadian. The actor is actually Australian!
Exactly.
Wolverine (the animal) is in family with
Otters, weasels, badgers, ferrets etc. 🙂
Wolverine himself is Canadian too, and so is Deadpool, in the comics.
Eddie: “how do you ruin one of the greatest stories of all time”
Me: “By being Fox”
"That face tells me you've met your match" Is also a hard way to end with a double. A 🔥🔥🔥 LINE!!!
"Now I'm going to get 75 comments about wolverines and beavers"
I'm over here like:
Uhh, I think you're going to get 75 comments about how Hugh Jackman is Australian! :P
I do wonder, though, if part of the "stunt double" line has to do with the fact that Hugh Jackman is well over 6 ft tall, so they had to use a lot of camera tricks and doubles to ensure that he didn't tower over any of his cast members, especially in fight scenes... but I think eventually they just gave up and let him be tall?
That's hilarious that burn was so good that you took your glove off. X-Men Days of Future Past shows the bone claws too. Given the whole dream thing, it's a bit of a waste that Freddy didn't make a crack about when Wolverine wakes up from a dream and stabs Rogue.
Good one!
You came on wearing the Freddy hat and glove, I think you can safely say 0 for 18....... 😆
YES! Battle of the claws. I love the story behind Johnny Depp being in this movie. I was told there were two or three actors, and the director asked his daughter to pick which actor should be the heartthrob. Johnny was not the one he expected her to pick.
Thankfully she did cause this was his big break before 21 Jump Street of course
A wolverine is a mustelid. Related to minks, ferret, otters, weasels, etc.
One of my favorite erbs because I’m a big horror movie fan and superhero fan
Same
I'm going to just leave a short comment. I'm house sitting for my sister and I'm going to watch this on her big screen. Love you brother.
🤜🏽🤛
@@TeacherEddieHistory damn you just took out his whole franchise with a fist bump
Hugh Jackman`s Australian,Wolverine is Canadian(Specifically Albertan) like his creator Len Wein. In fact, Jackman`s casting was probably influenced in part by the controversial choice to have Neil Ross(Who`d later voice Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin in "Spider-Man:The Animated Series")voice the Canucklehead with an Aussie accent in "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends" and "Pryde of the X-Men".Although, Aussies and Canadians both end sentences with "eh?"(As do their Brit ancestors), Canadians are just more notorious for it!
You seem like your a big fan of horror films I'd recommend checking out, if you haven't a channel called The Merkins. They do a lot of horror themed covers & parodies of songs. Their most popular video being a parody on The Backstreet Boys I Want It That Way, they made it I'll Kill You That Way. :)
I also thought the "what the fuck is a wolverine" line was a reference to the fact that Hugh Jackman didn't know what a wolverine was when he auditioned for the part
Also, the "That face tells me you've met your match" bar was another diss on Freddie having died to fire. His face is covered in burns. You use a match to start a fire.
But it was molotovs which dont start via matches
@@kmc19xx59 but a match starts a flame that can be used to light a molotov on fire.
Am I the only person that loves the Nightmare on Elm Street series because I find them funny? I think I was 10 when I saw the first one and was hooked - hysterical all of them. I love 3 as well as it explains so much.
Yea after the first one they became more campy and that made them fun
Fun fact, in Wolverines first appearance his claws were actually just attached to his bracers or gloves, not actually a part of him.
Dressed like Freddy with the glove and everything talking you were picking Wolverine lol 😂. I think I believe you
My man going for The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Mania.
More like Triple H’s WM record of 13 losses
Glad I found your channel. Started with theboyinaband reaction and really like hearing about your experiences and stories. You have a lot of wisdom to offer and through your reactions you are getting a message out within the humor and entertainment.
New sub for you my guy
I really appreciate it. That’s why I started the new channel to give back to all the amazing people who didn’t get the life skills education they wanted! ua-cam.com/channels/KNZKL3aI7iiQuQljN8eUGw.html together we can be the change we want!
@@TeacherEddieHistory As a fellow dad i approve of the name. :D
Ain't Wolverine actually has one of the biggest numbers of confirmed kills, among superheroes?
Actually, in the current Marvel landscape, Reed and Sue Richards have a son named Franklin, the most powerful mutant. Disney might have to go that route since FOX screw up the Dark Pheonix Saga twice.
Eddie be like, "we don't talk the second nightmare on elm street"
Ha, the vice city commercial is what I think of every time I hear that song
Zeus VS Thor is great one.
Wolverine destroyed him in the rap battle, but Freddy was whooping his ass in the fight. and Wolverine says he's not afraid but he's walking around his room with his claws out looking under the bed and stuff like he cant stop thinking about him. just like in the nightmare on elm st. movies.
You should check the Vlad Tepes vs Vlad Dracula ERB. It is also very good!
Great breakdown. The "angry beaver" might be a comeback to wolverine calling him a p____y. It's a 70s reference to a mature, unmanicured hoo ha.
In the first one Freddie doesn't say much if anything at all I know in Movie 2 he only says 1 word three times. Then in movie 3 he says a lot more.
That "step into my catnap, see if you can hack that" line sounds more like an invitation rather than a simple feral animal reference, like "I fucking dare you to try to kill me even if I just close my eyes / Try me, bitch / etc."
Don't forget the Heavy Metal line is also in reference to the Hair Metal Band Dokken. Who did the song "Dream Warrior" for Nightmare on Elm Street 4.
I believe Wolverine is the Canadian. Hugh is an Aussie.
I also think regular Jean isn't the strongest ever, but Phoenix definitely is. But I think her son Nate is the strongest in all universes.
But who knows that ish is extra complicated.
And the streak continues... don’t worry man, you’ll pick a winner eventually.
I think you should check out the youtube channel The Merkins. They're a group that does parody songs as if they were song by horror icons. I would suggest starting with Slashstreet Boys - I'll Kill You That Way.
Bruh wolverines flow on his first round was insane . I wish you had listened to his verse first and then broken it down xD
Remember when DMX dropped that song with the Freddy rhyme "1 2 x is coming for you" that was gold RIP dmx
I love your videos, and I am still patiently waiting for you to do the Jim Henson vs Stan Lee battle.
Appreciate it very much
Hugh Jackman is Australian. Wolverine post memory loss is Canadian by nature of running away to Canada.
I have am yet to watch this I’ll watch it later while I eat but I just wanted to say that every time I get a notification for your videos I get so excited to watch you, you remind me of my uncles and you seem like the type of person I would love to talk to. Keep up the great work man!
Thanks TB I look forward to your comments and feedback on every video! I been busy with starting the new channel but I’m not changing anything with this one. I just wanted to give people the help they didn’t get in school and be more than just another person talking about the issue, I am gonna do my part.
That heavy metal bitches line is a reference to the goth girl from nightmare 3
Yea but also of course Logan’s skeleton
Idk why I thought you’d make a CM Punk reference when Freddy said “Chick Magnet” then I saw you’re wearing a CM Punk shirt lol 😂😂
First again, really looking forward to seeing you break this down. Personally one of my favourites!
Thank you
@@TeacherEddieHistory You’re welcome, would recommend Einstein vs Hawking, Gandhi vs MLK or Frank Sinatra vs Freddie Mercury if you haven’t done them.
OG Freddy was only a child killer, not a pdf file. The remake freddy that isn't played by robert englund is the one that is a pdf file.
Correction
Hugh Jackman is Australian not Canadian. Wolverine is Canadian though which is what I think you meant lol
Hugh Jackman is Australian and Wolverine is Canadian and was even part of Alpha Flight at one point
don't run with those freddy gloves...you'll put an eye out haha
The original elm street made a point that Freddy was hurting children. It wasn’t until the remake of elm street that they said he was a pedophile. I think the reasoning was that they tried making the remake a much more serious movie and tried making him worse by calling him a pedophile.
Hugh Jackman is Australian, but Logan is Canadian. Easy mix up, no big deal.
Other than that, great reaction Eddie! I think the Joker vs. Pennywise one had way more references, but this was still really good.
"This is your big break! WELCOME TO PRIME TIME BITCH!" a classic Freddy quote.
Also you should totally react to Dead Meat they dona series called Kill Count where he does movies counting kills and giving fun facts about production
@Chris Riley fun fact Robert England addlibed the line welcome to prime time bitch
@@psycojuggalo1642 awesome! I can't think of any ad lib lines that were included that WEREN'T amazing
Wolverines are closely related to badgers, in the same class as them, as well as honey badgers. The family is musteidae, which also contains weasels, ferrets, and otters, with a slightly more distant relationship to skunks. They're a bit closer in relation to dogs than cats., but they aren't either dog or cat, and they're definitely not rodents like beavers.
I'm sure you'll eventually get to it, but you should react to ERB's Romeo & Juliet vs Bonnie & Clyde soon.
that face tells me u met ur match, that hits so hard, freddy got burned by fire, matches start fire, its also a double .
You should check Stan Lee vs Jim Hensen. Trust me, you will like it
Yeah that one was good
Hugh Jackman is Australian, Wolverine was from Canada. Wolverines are part of the weasel family alongside skunks, badgers and ferrets. In the original A Nightamre on Elm Street, the pedo stuff was more implied, they outright said he was a child murderer. Jean Grey isn't the most powerful mutant, Apocalypse is the most powerful mutant, she's the second most powerful psychic, right behind Franklin Richards, at least until Hope Summers pops up on the scene. She is however the most powerful telepath, empath and pyrokenitic(though the last one might be an aftereffect of being host to the phoenix entity).
bro wolverine is Canadian, Hugh Jackman is Australian
Now he has to watch Deadpool vs Bobafett.
EDIT: I want that wack hat LOL. It's always great how he breaks the FUUU out of these ERBd. I love seeing it.
In my opinion your one of the best UA-cam reactioner to breakdown bars
To me the best line is the one with the Fist bump. Cracks me up every time.
Hugh Jackman, the actor himself is Australian born in Sydney. Wolverine is the one Canadian born in northern Alberta, Canada (approximately near Cold Lake.) so they mean by "a tiny canadian" as wolverine not Hugh Jackman just wanted to make things clear
I'm very late on this reaction, and I'm not sure if the content creator is still checking on the comments, or if he ever did, but in the original story, Freddy wasn't a pdf file? He was alluded to being one in the remake, but in the original, he was just a child murderer who killed a lot of kids, got caught, and was then released due to a technicality (the judge got fat and the lawyer got famous, but somebody signed the search warrant in the wrong place and he was let go, just like that) and the parents of the dead kids burned him alive. They also didn't burn him in his house; they chased him to the old factory / boiler room where he murdered the kids and burned him alive in there.
Newest X-men series has Jean, Scott and Logan in a poly relationship
I always liked jason better because Freddies powers just aren't specified enough..I also loved the freddy vs jason movie man and the Jason X movie aswell (that people hated aswell) just that people take these movies too seriously I guess.
Yea you gotta suspend all logic when watching Jason x and just enjoy the shlock of it
The picture of gandolf is a reference to an old ERB joke Epic Lloyd played both but in a lot of there old BTS after dumbledore vs gandolf where he would joke about selling heroin
When I was like 7-8, my mom's abusive ass boyfriend MADE me watch the first Nightmare in Elm Street, and it scared me for life lol I slept with my bedroom light on, WHILE holding a flash light in my arms for like a month straight. Woke up every two hours or so during that time too
My grandma made me watch it at 6 in the dark and alone
I voluntarily watched it when I was 8 and spending the night at a friends house. She had nightmares, I was fine and loved it.
My dad unintentionally did it to me when showing my mom and friends the power of his surround sound. Pitch black room, 3 year old me hears the jurassic park t rex roar that was loud enough to jolt me awake and fill my shorts.
Same reaction slept with the light on and something to play in the background for a few weeks.lol.
Wolverine was also Canadian, origin story has him being in Alpha Flight before X-Men.
Also, forgot Jackman's an Aussie, not a Canuck.
Hugh Jackman is Australian. It’s Wolverine in the movies who’s Canadian, just like Sabertooth
We actually do hear Jason talk once, in Jason Goes to Manhattan.
Hugh Jackman is Australian wolverine the character is Canadian
Btw the line "welcome to primetime bitch" is a reference to nightmare on elmstreet 3 when Freddy attacks the blonde girl who wants to be an actress as he shoves her head into the tv
I Literally explained that entire scene in the first few minutes of the reaction...
Eddie: Jean Grey is the most powerful mutant ever.
Scarlet Witch: Am I a joke to you?
Phoenix force is immortal and it can resurrect and has a power over life and death and it exist not on earth but in multiverse. Scarlet witch is an extremely powerful mutant but still not a cosmic being. ... Scarlet is at her peak with her reality warping powers while Jean is possessed by the Phoenix Force
A Wolverine is a Mustelid related to Badgers and Mink. As a family they are closer to Bears and Dogs then Cats
I just realized that he's wearing a CM Punk shirt
⚡️ 👊 ⚡️
Wolverine the character is pretty sure is Canadian but Hugh Jackman is Australian
1983 for the first nightmare on elm Street, but it's close enough!
As for the slasher mount Rushmore, it depends on who's number four, because leatherface was introduced 2 years before Michael Myers (although the first TCM felt more like an arthouse horror than a slasher flick)
A Nightmare on Elm Street is a 1984 American supernatural slasher film written and directed by Wes Craven en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Nightmare_on_Elm_Street
@@TeacherEddieHistory welp, i just ate my own foot 😅
@@HGmolotov my useless cinema knowledge is pretty advanced, it's ok :)
Jean Grey is one of the strongest mutants, but not THE strongest. There are reality-warping mutants that would give Jean a run for her money even when she's Phoenix. I believe X-Man is one of such, also the son of Reed Richards and Susan Storm.
The Phoenix force however is indeed the strongest anything in the marvel universe (although a full power Galactus or some other metaconcept could match it) but Jean can't really tap into the entirety of that power AFAIK
Wolverine is Canadian. Hugh Jackman is Austrialian btw. this is the first ERB reaction of yours i've watched. i'll have to go back an see the rest.
Wolverine is Canadian, Hugh Jackman is Australian
once more a really cool reaction from you Eddie ^^, since you really love both Freddy and Pennywise you really should do a reaction of Freddy vs Pennywise from Freshy Kanal, i'm sure it'll blow your mind. Anyway keep on with all the good stuff and all the good you do ;)
Am I crazy or wasn't freddy losing his hat to Nancy in the beginning a important plot point in the first movie?
Wolverine never actually joins the X-Men. He helps them out a lot, which is where the confusion comes in, but never actually joins. In the original Nightmare, the parents throw him into the boiler of the school and burns it down after he flat out admits to what he did.
Going to throw in the caviat that my wife just corrected me on, it all depends on which version of Wolverine, which origin, which part of the multiverse.
"my favorite character is wolverine"
*Wears freddy krueger costume*
Hugh Jackman is Australian and wolverine is Canadian
Wolverine was born as James Howlett in northern Alberta, Canada, (approximately near Cold Lake) during the late 19th century, purportedly to rich farm owners John and Elizabeth Howlett,
Small thing jean grey isn't the most powerful mutant though she's definitely up there. I believe Franklin Richards is the most powerful mutant though he's a child so they don't use his character much
Franklin Richards, Legion, Scarlet Witch, Onslaught(Prof X + Magneto), Matt Malloy(Cerebro designated him the strongest mutant power source ever recorded) are considered the strongest mutants, they could all defeat Jean Grey easily. On the other hand, Jean as Pheonix is only second to an Adult Franklin Richards, afterall even Galactus became his Herald and Galactus ist on par with the Phoenix Force.
Yea but in the timeline of the comics at the time prior to the Phoenix Saga.
@@TeacherEddieHistory franklin richards was released in 1968 whereas the dark phoenix saga was released in 1976
