See part 2 to learn how to take advantage of this bug: ua-cam.com/video/YAnZhqYhYyY/v-deo.html Additional info: If you proc ravenous regularly, and then re-apply ravenous with meta (before ravenous proc expires), it will still work correctly.
I had noticed that my attack speed was inconsistent while running both powers, but didn’t know why - thanks for figuring it out! With the newer iterations of builds having lower cost running Undying and Resilience, I will just swap Moonrise for Ravenous. Makes the build run smoother to have good attack speed.
Great discovery, these vampire powers are bananas. While evading you're teleporting instead of actually moving. This might actually give really good insight into the logic of teleportation effects.
Ya, I wish they made it more like an evade where you could use your buffs in the middle of the animation. Makes it feel so wonky as it greys out your abilities imo.
I noticed a while ago that when you use Metamorphosis you actually have less movement speed for a split second (I lose about 100% going from 158% to 58%) - If you have your stat sheet open while using it you'll notice this - I'm not sure if this is related to the ravenous proc and basing on the movement speed at the time? - i noticed this while testing out metamorph with Esu boots and found it gimped my crit chance.
@@Xarrioyep, exactly. Even though the season is near the end it would be nice if you could send them bugnote and let them fix this as they did fix aoz quite rapidly. I would like to get a smoother end of the season :)
Man, this game is just one big convoluted mess.. So many bugged systems, many wording and/or synergy inconsistencies, huge power discrepancies across the board, seasonal big impact borrowed power systems, artificially inflated progression systems, inflated item budgets / reroll costs, extreme scarcity in valuable loot while 99% of the loot drops have no value, some required materials being time gated, the open world content is a few tiers too low, content that is obviously not tested to a serious extent and huge group play imbalance when a large amount of players prefer to play SSF. Oh and also discrepancies between playing with a controller opposed to playing with mouse and keyboard
Oh and another thing, a lot of classes/builds are literally just smashing all your buttons on cooldown. Literally just spamming 1-2-3-4-left mouse-right mouse or however you have it setup. Not really any clever play or anything, the only skill you require in some cases is to detect one-shot mechanics through your abundancy of spell effects and/or damage numbers
It pisses me off how many descriptions have poor grammar, plus the fact that fortification is called 'fortify'. All the descriptions are written like there's a character limit or as if they're sending a text and trying to conserve their mobile data.
Dolmen Stone for Druids is all one needs to look at to see how much of a mess the game is. It changes Boulder from a Wrath skill into a Core skill. The crazier part is that one of the affixes is +to Wrath skills. The tag that no longer applies to Boulder while wearing the necklace... It doesn't remain a Wrath skill and gain an additional Core skill tag. It is just a Core skill at that point. The entire point of the necklace is to pump Boulder up to be your main spender/damage ability in the Bouldercane build but the stats on it don't even apply to the skill anymore! That's all before the issues with it and Suppressors and Wallers. Who made these types of decisions?
@@wtfisthishandlebs I've had fun with the season too and have had some fun in AoZ as well. But I feel like it just magnifies all the missed opportunities, it puts a spotlight on all the glaring issues. It makes me feel like I've been playing a game that's just not ready for launch yet, but having paid a premium price for it. These seasons just feel like different beta builds and serve as tests for new systems, they are already talking about a complete itemization rework. All these seasonal powers make it impossible to balance because they are temporary. But it's the foundation that needs work because it needs to be solid, ask any builder. We're not seeing small iterative changes and fixes, or seasonal themes that expand the playing experience but complete overhauls. And they already announced the first expansion. They don't even have leaderboards yet despite having hosted a race with a prestigious reward. I sound negative and I am, but despite everything I have had fun with the game. But I really don't think we should enjoy something *despite* a bunch of things we dislike but *because* a bunch of things we do like. That's what we're being charged for. I'll stop ranting now, thank you
I realised something was off a while ago. Ty for confirming. Another issue i faced a lot with metamorph was i sometimes got locked in place after using it, i just stood there unable to move or attack unless i teleported again. some animation issue i imagine that creates a desync.
I love your content and I am in love with the rogue class...i am currently just trying to familiarize myself with all the nuances while rapid firing through everything. Gonna try to hang with the greats next season.
Oh... this is interesting.... I am going to have to test on Druid. The Stormclaw build which uses Flickerstep and the Airidah's Inexorable Will (which pulls enemies together and then get your ultimate back by evading through them) is going to be hugely affected by this. It might sense to take Ravenous off that build and put in some kind of other power. Although it could be that Moonrise causing attack speed to increase might override the metamorphosis cooldown.
This is the build I run and yeah it does affect it badly. However Ravenous is mandatory I would say. I'm thinking of switching out flickerstep and relying on Calm Before The Storm to reset Petrify and then I won't need to use Metamophisis as often.
I made an all Bear melee build with OP Pulv and noticed Moonrise and Ravenous were much more consistent on it than on my Stormclaw character. This interaction would explain that because I use Blood Boil instead of Meta on the Bear. If anyone is interested, yes it actually does work up to t10(current glyph level 8) so far and the Undying+Ravenous+Moonrise combo helps Bear's survivability A LOT(then rotate between Bulwark and DB Roar as needed with Grizzly Rage used defensively if you need it and it's not on offense CD). You actually get a solid source of regen which is normally missing from standard OP Pulv. It makes Bear actually feel tanky rather than a squishy ranged character. It is a bit wonky at times since you have to focus on your OP procs in order to not waste them on anything other than Pulv though. Now if only Blizz would make a Bear themed Crone Staff/2 hand Mace that procs Earth Spike with Maul like Wolf has. No idea why that isn't already a thing since they have mirrored unique helms and chests that focus on each form...
Great info, thanks 🙏 a little constructive criticism, though: perhaps make the video when you’re not sleepy (or whatever the case may be), I feel like a frog narrated the gameplay 😂 (I talk this same way all the time, btw, so I get it 😅)
lol ya, I just woke up early today and made it and was trying to be a bit quiet for other people~. Some people tell me they like the raspier voice tho!
Uhm, yeah, gonna drop Metamorphosis, after all, many classes don't need another Unstoppable effect (like Pulverize Druids), besides Prey on the Weak + Accursed Touch spreading faster Vulnerable for classes that don't have much source of that (like Pulverize Druids).
Does anyone remember the mathematical error that Rax covered about a month back? The one from the devs explaining the percentage increases in xp gain, among a few other benefits, only to have to be corrected because even grade schoolers have beeter math skills than the D4 devs. I don;t trust anything in this game when it comes to percentage gains. These devs make something, implement it, and then hope for the best.
Yep I quite using it because there is a other bug with metamorphosis. On the aspect that triggers stun grenade drop when you evade if you are using it then it will randomly stop working and you have to un-equip then re-equip the metamorphosis power until it randomly stops working again then rinse and repeat! So annoying I quit using that aspect! 🙄
This makes so much sense. I’ve noticed the same on my double swing barb. I’d have times where AS is super great and others where it was just better. Never really looked into why. Just thought it was my accel or something
I knew something was wrong, im using a Druid stormclaw build with the unique ring that pulls enemies when you activate an ultimate and using Flickerstep with ravenous and metamorphosis and sometimes i would attack real quick and sometimes not. Real bummer that its bugged.
I appreciate u reporting this bug. I'm sure the other brain dead rogue channels on here don't even know this bug exists but claims they know everything about the game lol

What are we replacing metamorphosis with?
I feel like it makes me pause for a slight second as well something akin to being stuck in a wall

to be fair, blizzard sucks at math and coding.
God damn. I am playing blood surge and this is highly affecting my build.
Uhm, yeah, gonna drop Metamorphosis, after all, many classes don't need another Unstoppable effect (like Pulverize Druids), besides Prey on the Weak + Accursed Touch spreading faster Vulnerable for classes that don't have much source of that (like Pulverize Druids).
diablo 4 its ablsolutly bugged game!
wait what I use this combo on all characters they need to fix this ASAP
I'm stuck at aoz level 15 now I know why.
Does anybody know the name of the rogue discord?
It is just the diablo 4 discord rogue-chat channel. discord.com/channels/989899054815281243/1048656534290301049
Clutch catch. Logged on after a few days break and my stormclaw druid felt weaker. This explained everything 🙏

Its not blizzard anymore. Its now just a paycheck

What do you think would help Blizzard catch and fix these things before release?
There a bug that's makes it where you can one tap everything. This game is so broken.
Can you elaborate?
Great video very informative tough to play around it especially in AOZ i guess a good option would be to replace Metamorphosis with Accursed Touch.
I think I've collected all bugs in my build! It died today anyways! Time to start over!!
appreciate it, I've been using that combo not knowing....
Seaosn of Bug.
… in your video there are only 4 vampiric powers activated…
Can you snapshot the movement speed from twisting blades and then keep refreshing it?
So that's why I couldn't clear t25 aoz
Exactly. Now you are good to go.
more and more bugs with vamp powers...neat
hahaha and i thougt am i dumb or why am i atk so slow yesterday 😂 knew there is anything bugged
Could you test anticipation vamp power?
blizzard math strikes again.
Blizzard math at its finest.
in video 1 glyph not active
Much appreciated knowledge here!
Proof yet again that D4 Devs can't do math
I appreciate u reporting this bug. I'm sure the other brain dead rogue channels on here don't even know this bug exists but claims they know everything about the game lol
i knew there was something wrong with my attack sped ive been saying the whole season xD
What's the rogue discord?
