This definitely works in outdoor zones too. You do NOT need to zone to make this work. You simply make sure you dont have either item on. Equip the weapon with the big buff first. The ring or what ever second, then unequip the weapon and you will have the buff. Tested this at the dummy and at the blood harvest for elements and attack speed and good to go on both.

this was not content designed to be cleared at even tier 1 by casual players and they did not expect anyone to reach glyph cap. its not an achievement to beat, its just a limit test for hardcore players. not the game m ode but the grinders. they said that from the beginning yet still every casual comes out of the woodwork to complain for some reason
Btw can you look into “inner calm aspect scaling the new glyph?” I could be wrong but inner calm scales your all dmg stat directly so the more all dmg you have the stronger inner calm aspect gets, without inner calm I’m at 700% all dmg but with it I get over 1000% all dmg. Seems to be this aspect is going to be one of the strongest aspects for barbs or anyone who can stand still in a pack of monsters for 3 seconds safely I’m also not the best at d4 (far from it) I could be wrong about this aspect, it just caught my eye when playing around with different aspects and noticed it scales the glyphs dmg bucket.
@@kostistsiutras4373 selig is stupid strong but you also need to have good gear and the right passives, you can’t be bad and just throw selig on and clear a t15 BUT selig helps good players who understand how to maximize its immortality along with dmg potential
yeah agreed on your points! but hey i cleared T18 today and tomorrow im pushin for T19.. bein a trador saved a lot of time.. that means capped gold at 9.999.999.999 and about 17 billion in Duriel materials, farmed non stop about 4.100 Duriel runs till i got all the ubers in the game and then simply bought all the items worth of multi-billions with every attribute 99%-100% then i min maxed my paragons made every single glyph lvl 21 in the game and started pushin AoZ, currently glyph at lvl25 and placed it into carnage board with every skill point possible checked @@kylekilgore291

This season is loosing more and more fun to me. It's so buggy everywhere and imbalanced² that all the original intention of "having a choice" gets obsoleted. If you want to push competitive as a Rogue, you have to use Tibault's, exploit Ravenous and now even snapshot your aspects. It's ridiculous that a class only can compete with Barbs and Sorcs because of using so many bugs and exploits. Anyway, thanks for Testing @Xarrio 🙂
As a Druid (Stormclaw/Pulverize -- I have two 100 Druids lol) player, I feel you. Druids have ONE thing -- Blurred Beast, which may be bugged/unintended/simply stronger than the devs would like it to be -- that allows us to even remotely compete. Barbs are ridiculous right now, and I can admit that b/c I have a Barb myself alongside my two Druids. I know how strong HotA is because my HotA Barb, who has Grandfather, Shako, Doombringer, and Selig, can roflstomp the same thing my Druid struggles with :( I think the devs messed up doing the big pre-season-1 nerf patch that pissed off everybody, but I think they ALSO screwed up when they apologized and promised they'd never nerf things again. The apology was good, but the promise to never nerf things again is sooooooooooooo bad and will probably lead to lots of side-effects and unintended restrictions on game balance. I just think it was a mistake for them to not nerf BL Sorc, HotA Barb, and maybe even Overpower in general this season after seeing how ridiculous all of that has turned out to be. And if they won't nerf broken stuff mid-season... then we will always be living with ridiculously broken stuff, and that's going to have a detrimental effect on player psychology, which in turn will probably lead to less players playing. My worry is it'll be too late by the time the devs figure out they are wrong for not doing mid-season nerfs.

I tested rapid aspect (basic attack increase) and it didn't work. I will test conceited, blurred beast and stormclaw today. Seem like it might work for aspects that are not active at zone in, but then become active.
I heard rumor that you can do something like this with Mage Lords. I cant trst it because on console it does not let me see that it is indeed working but its a little different than this, I guess you have Mage Lord on an item and correctly have the key passive Vyrs Mastery to get the bonus but then you can switch key passives and still have the Mage Lord effect active. It would be like being able to use any key passive with the 9% DR per close enemy up to 27%. Would be great if someone could check this one out and let us know the details!
So I think mage lords works on amulet and armor . Might be wrong , but I know that vyrs mastery will get you the mage lords bonus and you can swap to overwhelming currents and benefit from 2 passives at once .
Imagine the glyph provided enough power to not be bothered about all this bs, great explanation, but as you said “since this is where we’re at in this season…”
would be kinda crazy if this stuff would work on the Battle-Mad aspect for barbs. (after swapping weapons 10 times, gain berserking for 3.5 (or 7.0)seconds). if it snapshots the 7 seconds, you can basically have 100% uptime on berserking, and maybe you dont even need the wrath of the berserker anymore.
could possibly mean that Shako can get replaced by Joritz again :P when you compare them, it could be Joritz that beats shako. Joritz effect covers the CooldownReduction from shako and adds 15% [x] damage shako effect gives 20% damage reduction, Joritz 16% while berserking, Joritz loses by 4%. shako gives 4 skill, i was told, and this is really not tested by myself is roughly 20% damage increase. but through the 20max fury on Joritz, Hota can do 20% increased damage aswell. shako also gives a good amount of HP, Joritz gives a good amount of dmg while berserking. and lastly the stats attackspeed from Joritz vs the all stats on shako, all stats is always good, but the attackspeed would add alot of damage because weapon swaps benefit greatly from that. the 2 last stats are probably what you prefer yourself :P sadly i'm just a dumb fuck that has the weirdest shit popping up in my head that im not smart enough for to work out :P but its just my 2 cents XD
At this point in the season, it's really hard to tell what Blizzard will or will not allow (Selig had it's mini nerf in PVP only). But for me, I just chalk it up to having some busted systems in the game. D3 had it's own snapshotting too. Bit too much of a hassle in every other place than AoZ I think.

it works with weapons (2handers) and amulets since theyre the on ly items giving 50 to 100 percent bonus benefit to the aspect, allowing u to retain that double elements for instance with a smaller percentage (60 vs 30) on a diff item while switching to the "real" aspect on ur 2h wep and amulet. with ubers being target farmable in addition to other stronk uniques this isnt that important imo. you have maybe one aspect slot to snapshot if u have a good build, if ur lucky. i have bladedancers and thats it. with poison and x fals its not worth the time
this is arguably much more important for those without any ubers. if u have ubers and tears of blood leveled this matters not. well, season is over and this is going bye bye so it all matters not, i forgot

Hey! Did u test to ensure that the aspect you place back on once zoning in actually is applying as well as the one u take off? So example the accelerating snapshot is working, but are u sure ur getting that AND the benefit of whatever aspect you put on when u get in and swap them? Does this work if you unequipped both the same aspect then put bigger one on 2h and smaller version on ring then remove 2h? Or you need to enter the dungeon or zone with both already equipped ?So example would be elements on 2h and ring then remove 2h and add core increase attack speed on 2h, then add ring with same aspect then remove 2h to main wep so you’d get 60% elements and 50% core attack speed? Guessing prob not

Earthstriker and Edgemaster dont work. Limitless rage & expectant work once then reapplies w current gear. Has to be a continuous buff like elemental. Havent tried accelerating, but considering it falls off and has to be reapplied I would think it works like limitless rage one time then back to normal. Maybe switching gear fast enough can allow for the buff to be reapplied before it falls off, but it will fall off eventually and I believe go back to normal. Am I incorrect about accelerating?
It's kinda dumb to me that players think they're " skilled" because they can use an exploit or bug. Lol. What's the fukin point? All I hear is players looking for ways to cheat. Play how ya want I guess. Just doesn't seem fun to me.
I can't speak for others, but I don't think I am skilled for using a bug/exploit. It is simply that blizz has made an impossible mode that can't be beaten (blizz's own words) without bugs/exploits, so people are using them to try to see how far they can get using whatever they can find in the game.
it's good thing they released AOZ, I had no ideal the game was this busted. I'm not sure what's worse, a boring season because that there is nothing to do, or a season that is boring because everyone is using exploits.
The bug is not about zoning in. It's about equipping first. If you equip an higher aspect first and a weaker later on. You will stay with higher effect. I've been testing... and... you can do this with any aspect, as long as you can keep at least one equipped aspect of the kind youre trying to exploit. You can do like this: Equipe 2 handed with aspect > equip amulet > Equip one hand weapon (all 3 with same aspect). Then you will keep the double effect (It will come from 2h, navigate to amulet and then navigate to one handed. It's like a link.

So you can essentially give most of your gear 2 handed and amulet quality aspects if you have the right gear? Or do you have to have the gear equipped going into the dungeon?
@@tylerj3855 I believe that's true. You have to test and check for dmg difference for some aspects, because they dont give stats or direct buff. But im 99% sure all they do. There are a few that give some bonus even after they are unequipped. (Like the vyr's aspect for sorcerer. You have to equip the aspect with the vyr passive active on ur skill set, after that, you unequip the passive and then unequip the item with the vyr's aspect.. and yet, you will have both aspect and passive actives (you can check that by hitting a critical strike, the buff will show). Thats... insane and overpower
Bugged skills (Enhanced BL) and interactions (Tibs+Combo Points) are one thing, but this is intentionally abusing a coding flaw to receive a massive and clearly unintended damage bonus. Since this bug can have a drastic impact on the AoZ achievements and especially the upcoming leaderboard in S3, I can see this being a banworthy ToS violation, especially if you dont have streamer armor.
Hopefully they fix all of these bugs before season 3. Right now however, one could argue that all of the bugs are coding flaws that are being abused. And blizz seems to have made the point that they don't want to deal with bugs this season and pretty much anything goes as long as it doesn't crash the servers.

How does Retaliation snapshot work? Same simple zone in or do you have to gain some fortify first?

How about an aspect like Umbrous or Shared misery ? it's probably very time consuming to compare lucky hit chance effects ...

I was about to ask the same thing. I suspected the aspect you tried to replace the "snapshot" with may not function.
Of course you do. Your 'weaker' 1h aspect basically carries the 2h aspect buff you swapped out of, while your current 2h aspect does its regular job.

Guessing prob not
The bug occurs when you are zoning. You must have the things equipped when you zone in. So don't believe that would work.
for the elements I am able to swap in the zone and it works. even in outdoor areas, done it a number of times.

@@Xarrio wait what. hes right, u can just unequip ring entirely and equip t he highest roll on a crossbow of elements or accelerating, zone abck i nto dungeon, equip the smaller percentage ring, swap to ur real 2h, boom. that is what i thought snapshotting was entirely, why would that not work? you can even do it outdorors u dont need to zone technically j ust swap the items around

Earthstriker and Edgemaster dont work.
Limitless rage & expectant work once then reapplies w current gear. Has to be a continuous buff like elemental.
Havent tried accelerating, but considering it falls off and has to be reapplied I would think it works like limitless rage one time then back to normal. Maybe switching gear fast enough can allow for the buff to be reapplied before it falls off, but it will fall off eventually and I believe go back to normal. Am I incorrect about accelerating?

It's kinda dumb to me that players think they're " skilled" because they can use an exploit or bug. Lol. What's the fukin point? All I hear is players looking for ways to cheat. Play how ya want I guess. Just doesn't seem fun to me.
I can't speak for others, but I don't think I am skilled for using a bug/exploit. It is simply that blizz has made an impossible mode that can't be beaten (blizz's own words) without bugs/exploits, so people are using them to try to see how far they can get using whatever they can find in the game.
It is a exploit.
it's good thing they released AOZ, I had no ideal the game was this busted. I'm not sure what's worse, a boring season because that there is nothing to do, or a season that is boring because everyone is using exploits.
The bug is not about zoning in.
It's about equipping first.
If you equip an higher aspect first and a weaker later on. You will stay with higher effect.
I've been testing... and... you can do this with any aspect, as long as you can keep at least one equipped aspect of the kind youre trying to exploit.
You can do like this:
Equipe 2 handed with aspect > equip amulet > Equip one hand weapon (all 3 with same aspect). Then you will keep the double effect (It will come from 2h, navigate to amulet and then navigate to one handed. It's like a link.
Btw, you will lose everything when you zone.
Soo, if u want to exploit this. Zone into zir. THEN you gear up to exploit this.

So you can essentially give most of your gear 2 handed and amulet quality aspects if you have the right gear? Or do you have to have the gear equipped going into the dungeon?

I believe that's true. You have to test and check for dmg difference for some aspects, because they dont give stats or direct buff.
But im 99% sure all they do.
There are a few that give some bonus even after they are unequipped. (Like the vyr's aspect for sorcerer. You have to equip the aspect with the vyr passive active on ur skill set, after that, you unequip the passive and then unequip the item with the vyr's aspect.. and yet, you will have both aspect and passive actives (you can check that by hitting a critical strike, the buff will show).

Bugged skills (Enhanced BL) and interactions (Tibs+Combo Points) are one thing, but this is intentionally abusing a coding flaw to receive a massive and clearly unintended damage bonus. Since this bug can have a drastic impact on the AoZ achievements and especially the upcoming leaderboard in S3, I can see this being a banworthy ToS violation, especially if you dont have streamer armor.
Hopefully they fix all of these bugs before season 3. Right now however, one could argue that all of the bugs are coding flaws that are being abused. And blizz seems to have made the point that they don't want to deal with bugs this season and pretty much anything goes as long as it doesn't crash the servers.

Just wanted to point out that this is the type of bug usage which could potencially be adressed (and has been in the past in similar situations, WoW is a prime example with its raid races). @@Xarrio
