I was born in Klaksvík and lived my life in Klaksvík, Oyndarfjørður and Tórshavn.

Wonderful, relieving footage of this timeless place that still remains unspoiled by human presence and intervention.
This a place where one can feel the futility of human presence against the grandiosity of wild nature.
The light, the colors, the shapes, the scale and the ambience of this austere and unforgiving yet serenely wild place is really captivating, to say the least.
Many thanks for this visually and technically impeccable work that, among other things, lures the viewer to re-imagine the references Lofoten Island in the literary works of Jules Verne.

It looks sad, beautiful, peaceful, desolate, no one. But the condition is suitable for people who love nature, love plants, love wildlife and love solitude...living in nature. Not busy with people in big cities. Peace of mind... Thanks for the video that calms the mind. Not to be confused and to help strengthen the morale to live in the next day.....

Stunningly beautiful! The Lofoten Islands & Senja are above the Arctic Circle; so no sunrise in winter and no sunset in summer. I think 24 hours of darkness would be harder to adjust to than 24 hours of daylight. When I look at these rocky, coastal settlements, backed by mountains, I wonder how they deal with waste and sewage. I assume they have to treat and filter, and send the result out to sea. And as a long-distance runner, where could I run except on the highway? Still Norway seems an amazing country, and the language and culture so appealing.
I have a very good friend from Bergen, Norway, who is now living in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. She loves the weather in Las Vegas, as do I.
