When you come here to visit the Dolomites, do it with the highest respect . One of the blackest pages of human history has been written on these magnificent mountains, which today are a destination for tourists from all over the world. Hundreds of thousands of young Italian Alpini and Austrian Landesschützen found death here during the Great War, the tunnels and trenches still leave indelible marks on these wonderful ridges, and being able to visit them in peace, also exchanging greetings with foreign tourists, it is a gift to be thankful for.

If you want, something like that exists already. Shepherds from those lands invented some really ancient stories: the outline is really complicated, even though the best of all can be grouped into “The Cycle of Fanes”. Is really hard to find books written in English telling about them, but you can find quite a lot in Italian, German or Ladin. These are very epic stories which sometimes really remind me of the Lord of the Rings. An Austrian philologist even wrote an essay in which she noticed how Tolkien may have taken many ideas from the Dolomitan Mythology. Try to google something like “Legend of Dolasila/Dolasilla/Dolasira” and you will find an amazing story that deserves a colossal film production. A movie has been made, not a good one though 🙈

I am from The Netherlands and I love Italy very much. From the mountains to the sea. You did a beautiful job with this film. It lifted my heart. Thanks very much!
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience and thanks for showing that Italy is not just hot weather, pizza and beaches 😂 Italy is undoubtedly the land of the endless and beutiful hills rich in Mediterranean vegetation (wine, oil, etc.); famous art cities rich in history, art and culture; the medieval villages perched on the hills; the beautiful beaches and the amazing landscapes of the coastline; the good cuisine; the customs; but Italy is also a country rich of beautiful mountain landscapes (35% of the Italian territory is composed of the mountains). And in the north (the most mountainous part of Italy) since there are the Alps (the highest European mountain chain that is mostly in Italy), a very large part of the territory is like that one shown in the video: very green, full of lakes and rivers, surrounded by very high mountains and characterized by an alpine/cold landscape. I'm Italian, I know what I say lol 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

Last shot: bochette centrali in Gruppo di Brenta. Kudos that you went there as well. This separate group of Dolomites is often forgotten when people "want to see the Dolomites", while it's one of the most beautiful groups of Dolomites as it sits next to the Presanella and Adamello massif, which are made of granite which gives a totally different kind of mountain. Because of this you have to totally different type of mountains next to each other, which makes the Brenta so special and unique. I have lived three years in Trentino, but I'm back in the Netherlands for over 10 years now; I still miss it, especially the Brenta, every day. I try to go there at least once a year. I love what you did with the epic shots and the music, not alone the time spent making it! Hiking up three times in a row onto monte Pelmo: respect, even in an environment like that it can become challenging!
Thanks a lot man! I just saw your video in the Brenta, really impressive what you did there :) And thank you for your generous donation, this will help me a lot for my next project. God bless you

Impressive. It looked like something out of Lord of the Rings.
Had the same exact thought

Beautiful, astonishing! 😍 Many Europeans travel to the other side of the word because they want to be world travellers. Meanwhile you can find the most beautiful places not far from home. I am from The Netherlands and I love Italy very much. From the mountains to the sea. You did a beautiful job with this film. It lifted my heart. Thanks very much!
Thanks for sharing your amazing experience and thanks for showing that Italy is not just hot weather, pizza and beaches 😂
Italy is undoubtedly the land of the endless and beutiful hills rich in Mediterranean vegetation (wine, oil, etc.); famous art cities rich in history, art and culture; the medieval villages perched on the hills; the beautiful beaches and the amazing landscapes of the coastline; the good cuisine; the customs; but Italy is also a country rich of beautiful mountain landscapes (35% of the Italian territory is composed of the mountains).

Listen mate in some parts of Calabria there are villages where they speak ancient Greek, or some parts of Puglia where they speak Albanian..or some part of Piemonte where they speak French, or some part of Sardinia where they speak Catalan. What are we going to say, that's not Italy? The same applies in many countries in the world with different languages..For instance in part of Wales they speak Welsh, not English.
This situation has existed since the dawn of time, with some countrie's boundaries which have changed in time, but the people have stayed. Some people there, may indeed speak German, but the land belongs to Italy and so it's Italian..Or are we to say for instance that Corsica is not France, it's Italy? Or Nizza, or Savoy?

God bless you
“When Allah created the earth, it started shaking. So He created the mountains, and said to them: ‘Upon it’ so it began to settle. The angels were amazed at the strength of the mountains, so they said: ‘O Lord! Is there among your creatures one who is more severe than the mountains?’ He said: ‘Yes. Iron.’ They said: ‘O Lord! Then is there anything among your creatures that is more severe than that iron?’ He said: ‘Yes. Fire.’ S they said: ‘O Lord! Is there anything among your creatures that is more severe than fire?’ He said: ‘Yes. Water.’ They said: ‘O Lord! Is there anything among your creatures that is more severe than water?’ He said: ‘Yes. Wind.’ They said: ‘O Lord! Is there anything among your creatures more severe than wind?’ He said: ‘Yes.
