Great video! I was wondering though, are you planning on recording and posting a video of the full rebuild? It would be helpful to see how everything goes back together.
7:10 the puller used here is a Tusk M35X1.5 Great video too man. Currently doing topend and timing chain on a 99 450 ES. Motor is in the bike yet because im stubborn.
Nice informative video. Researching before I pull apart my engine. I need a 'slow motion' feature on UA-cam to keep up, as you fly through taking it apart. Subscribed for further content. Thanks again!
Hey I commented on your carb cleaning video for this engine, thx for the quick reply on that btw. Do you by any chance have a video of you removing the engine from the fourwheeler? Thanks

Great video thanks for the detail. I'm going to split the case on a Foreman 400 to clean it out because water got inside the engine. Is it possible to split the case by only removing the stator side of the engine? Thanks!
paid guy to replace shifter shaft that broke. he cant get shifter shaft that runs through the engine to go back in. The cover wont go on flush because the shift rod is sticking out too far. In your video you say if you pull out the shift rod. a washer on the other side will fall. is there a way to fix without tearing the front of the motor apart.
Hey, quick question, I commented a couple months ago about seeing if you had a video about how to remove the engine from the four wheeler and i was wondering if you posted it yet, and 1 more question, i brought my four wheeler to tall pines ATV park and when we brought it back i tried turning it on the next day and it didn't have any spark, it turns over but wont try an start, i changed the spark plug, the coil, and the voltage regulator and it still doesn't have any spark, i just ordered a new cdi ignition box to see if that fixes the problem if it doesn't do you have any idea on what it might be, id like to try an get it up and running before the snow flies so i can ride with my family. thanks
Hi, i was wondering. i have the 450 version. and i got it from a guy who said it would not shift into neutral or reverse. i adjusted the clutch and it goes into neutral, reverse and 1st, But will not go any higher than 1st. But, when i can eventually get it into 2nd i am unable to shift back into 1st, neutral or reverse. Right now i'm running the quad only in 2nd gear. which i know isnt good at all for the clutches. i was wondering if you might know the problem, and if i'd be able to pool the clutch cover without removing the motor. Thanks!
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports you know, now that you bring it up. Where the foot shifter comes out of the quad, it does have a tiny bit of play in the lever. Like forward and back play. (Facing the right side of it)
