I appreciate very much how you chose to play this with expression and not rush through it at breakneck speed like so many others have done. Your pauses are timed perfectly between the parts and allow for a natural breath. Excellent interpretation. 😍
A beautiful interpretation of this extraordinary piece.
Thank you, Nikol for this excellent interpretation. I am learning this Toccata at this moment. Your playing in an inspiration!
Likewise.
Beautiful playing
Glad to hear fine playing of this music, as well as the excellent performances of late-Romantic repertoire on this website. It is very clean and there is variety in articulation. There is a good sense of flow and your interpretation is convincing. (I played Bach's French Suite No. 3 in B minor in recitals in Vancouver many years ago.)
Exellent! Thank you so much!
beautiful performance, thanks4sharing!
Gracias!
Wonderful
Bravo
Excellent interpretation! Not played like others that sound like they are rushing to the next bar for last call!😂
Nokol,J ❤️ you!
This is the toccata from Bach which I prefer. I cannot think of a finer interpretation. Only a great artist can play like this.
Very interesting! Well done!
Wonderful! How hard is it compared to e.g. the French suites?
Beautiful playing and beautifully filmed! (or "videoed"?)
Beautiful perfomance of this J.S . Bach piece.
00:07 Toccata
01:02 Un poco allegro
02:25 Adagio
04:37 Fuga. Allegro
I don't get everyone copies the Gould interpretation for such a dramatic piece like the fugue.
true only sounds good when Gould does it
The piece is spectacular on harpsichord, no need for Gould there, though I love him
@@zurich5607 . I agree.
@@leonb1142 Martha argerich does it better than glen Gould
Pure madness .... 🙂

You are fantastic! I am a classical style composer, and I just completed my first symphony which is currently in london for the copyist phase. I would love to write something for you sometime if you are interested!
