I’ve been wearing these and the Mach 3. I’ve got a narrow heel and these are perfect. But it’s true that they do feel a little hard on the court. The Mach 3 is really nice but the toe box is really big and my foot gets a little lost inside of it.

you recommended me the Tour 4's in your review of them way back since they fit like a 2E but weren't really 2E. loved the shoe. Upset that these aren't the same fit or Mizuno doesn't offer a 2E version
On your most recent live stream , you took a question from me regarding mizuno shoe updates for 23 to 24 in regards to speed and performance . You stated that there was a shoe coming out that you really liked for your needs and may poss become shoe of the year . A new mizuno shoe was just reviewed by tennis spin today , which is named the Wave enforce tour . Is this the shoe you were referring too ? This shoe is 407 grams in 10 1/2 , unless heavier . It is before trying it , a maximalist shoe to rival the Asaic gel resolution and not the ff speed .
Yes I tried these and my ankle bone hits that high counter you mentioned and I think overtime my ankle bone with be bruised and will hurt a lot! 😭
I have some of the strangest feet I’ve ever seen on anyone. My length is equivalent to about a 5.5 but my foot is super wide. So its hard enough to find shoes made that small that are made with Adult quality. But i also can only fit my foot in a 7 without it hurting a ton and even then they’re still narrow for me and very long. Haven’t been able to play basketball pain free for 10+ years and just have to power through. Any tips or advice for that?

I wish these weren't the only shoe that worked for me, but they are. I've tried almost everything and this is the only one that doesn't give me blisters or any sort of pain. I am also a big bone midwestern boy lol

Do you have any data or recommendations for shoes with little to no Heel-to-toe differential in the sole? Liked and subbed
KD 14 I think has the lowest but I don’t have the numbers off the top of my head- I have digital downloads with all the stats in the descriptions

Hi Zach, how is the cushioning? I get the impression that they are firm and there isn't much bounce.
I'm a light and fast player. However, I have jumpers knee so I'm seeking cushioning. Learning towards the LAV2, I just wish they had better color options. I think NB is hurting their sales with their limited and odd color combinations. My 2 cents.

I’ve never bought tennis specific shoes. Would these perform well in athletic training (multi directional sprints, all kinds of jumps, and light weights)?

That’s what I thought but the info I found on their site was eva blend 🤷♂️
Just tried these out on the court yesterday, and I have to say these are really good. For comparison, my favorite shoes to play in were the Ubersonic 2, Vapor 9.5, and Zoom Cage 3; mostly quicker, lighter shoes. I did not enjoy the gel resolution or adidas barricade lines because they were a bit clunkier to me, but the new ubersonics and vapors have been disappointing so I didn't have a shoe that I liked until the Mizuno Wave Exceed 5. I will say one downside is that I like to slide on hard court and it felt impossible to do that because the traction was so solid and tacky, but after wearing down the tread a bit that should go away.
Yeah they are so hard to slide in- but traction is amazing

Hi Zach! I got these and have heard a few horror stories about rolling ankles online- do you think these are dangerous? Or is it more if you have a history of ankle injury? A little nervous to switch to them from my New Balance 996’s
They have alot of grip and not alot of ankle support so yeah I could see them rolling a few ankles

How does this compare to the enforce? Is this like the resolution as the enforce is to the ff3? I prefer the ff3 to the resolution so will the enforce be better for me?

My feet are so flat. What shoe do you recommend for that issue for needing support? I have no idea where to start. I have the ASICS gel shoes but damn there’s no support in that

I have super flat feet as well. I always take out the original insole and ALWAYS use the SuperFeet blue insoles. They last forever so I move the 4 sets of insoles I've had for the past 5+ years around as needed from tennis shoe to tennis shoe and even other shoes if they fit. The blue SuperFeet seem to fit really good in most tennis shoes compared to some of the other SuperFeet colors.

Seemed nice light and flexible, but low on forefoot cushion.
The thin tongue/laces digging in is really uncomfortable. Main reason I prefer the 4!
