I became a Lakers fan when I was 4 because I saw a guy who’s number was 24 I said I wanted to be just like him then 6 years later he died now 10 years later I got to play middle school ball and see a guy from wear I’m from dunk on a Purdue commit and I’ve known him for 4 years he reminded me of Kobe with that wonderful dunk
Honestly can’t imagine Kobe Bryant actually gone like that, he the kinda guy who’d be training in heaven thinking “ y’all wanted to beat me in the NBA, wait till you come up here you haven’t seen nothing yet”

I was there as well, but in the back. I was Kobe's friend and step dad, when I heard about his death, and went to this game, I was too devastated to go down to pay respects. I cried for 3 weeks. Kobe's real dad died at the age of 34, when he was 15. I stepped in, and cared for him, he's been calling me dad since he was 15 years old.
With him gone, it's been fucked up for me, rest in peace Kobe, rest in peace....
