- The February Update has changed A LOT in Cuatro Colinas and in today's video, we go through EVERYTHING you need to do in order to set-up YOUR Great One Grind in Cuatro Colinas. We talk about tent and tripod placement, how to find ALL of your zones, which weapons are best, how to get respawns, and included at the end of the video is a hot spot map showing where all of my red deer drink zones are since the update! Thought I would mention I have two zones on the big lake in the bottom left corner
(the one covered slightly covered by the red deer on the guide map)

Yeah at that lake the red deer is covering up if you spawn at that outpost and go to the right when you hit the lake at that top cove I have a drink zone for them and I saw RonMctube did too.
Odd thing I’ve been around that lake 3x and no zones appeared for me at that lake…I guess I’ll have to try again:/

You really are a legend! Thanks so much for this, I learned a ton about how this game works. I was trying to do this already but I had no clue I had to find all the zones first so they wouldn't always respawn properly. Now that I got it set up it is so much more efficient!

You are surely lying, show proof with your name on the harvest screen clear and we will believe you lol. Lying does not get you far in life, even if it hurts at the start telling the truth, people will forgive but if you always lie then nobody will believe you when you are telling the truth 😁. Kids only lie to impress but its obvious to us adults lol. Playing with mods also don't count btw. Us console players don't cheat as 1 its not worth it and 2 we get IP banned and buying a new console is useless as they get blocked due to the IP ban so its rare to come accross a cheater on console 😁
I played on console for years. Lotsa cheating happens on console. Not modding but lots of ghosting maps and trading animals unfortunately. I saw it a lot. ☹️
@@LadyLegendXO I have had consoles for 21 years now and rarely come accross cheaters and when I do its normally because I am playing cross-platform games like Cod🙃, I play lots of games and luckily its rare compared to PC 😁. My mates always say "they are cheaters" in games when in reality they are just saying that because they die easy lol
In 5 years years of COTW I have never seen a cheater on Xbox luckily "touch wood" but I know they exist and I server hop a lot 🤪
This really helped, I started at the big lake on the top right corner of the map and the very first red deer I spotted was a diamond

Hi Lady love the vid! I’m setting up for my red deer go. I found 63 zones so far…I have a feeling there’s more. Someone said they had 70 zones on Cuatro (don’t know if that’s true) but I’ve checked the lakes/river multiple times turned off my game/checked different days and no more zones have popped up. I’m gonna try one round and see if I’m not getting respawns hopefully I’ll be able to find the other zones. It can be time consuming but hopefully I’ll find all the zones and get a go in time. Thanks for your guide:)

Hello. Today while searching for zones, Red Deer drinking zone appeared right in front of my tent. I believe I placed that tent yesterday. Strange, huh? Plus, some of my RD drinking zones were swapped and I no longer have RD zones in some places.
Strange. They’ll all change Tuesday anyways

I’m in te aworoa and I used all the lakes scarecrow uses and I have all the zones for red deer but when I kept shooting the level 8 and 7 but after the initial spawns were gone most of the red deer were gone too and now 3 of my lakes don’t work so I tried switching them to other lakes but some of the good lakes the internet says have no red deer
You probably are missing zones. Look for more! This guide is outdated. I’m putting out a new one for cuatro tomorrow!

I definitely think they silent changed the scoring system with the update. I’ve been tracking every 7+ via a spreadsheet for weeks as I’ve been grinding. Since the update I’ve seen lvl 8s score over 240 and 7s get as high as 215. To put that in perspective, I’ve gotten 2 trolls that scored 236 and 238 this week. Also…not a fan of the update at all. The maps feel so much emptier now, no mouflon or roe deer running around everywhere. It’s just so segmented by drink time now and much more rigid it seems

finally got my cuatro GO to spawn! didn't shoot him yet lol. thanks for all your tips and tricks!
only got cuatro about a month ago so i'm sure i'm under 1000 kills.
last week my zones went dead. no males were respawning. decided to kill all the 4's and started killing a bunch of females and this seemed to revive my zones. could be just random luck. i also stopped shooting the single stag zones. i think shooting those delays the respawns as most of the time you end up losing that zone. sometimes the zone stays so not sure what the logic is on single stag zones.
now on to the whitetail ! was disappointed you stopped the layton grind...was looking forward to that as i'm trying to figure out layton also so i understand your frustration ! lol
Congrats!!! I haven’t stopped it. I tried to do it live today and they wouldn’t resoawn. Ughhhh. I think Layton is broken a bit.

I think Layton is broken with the rabbits. i been shooting whitetail deer and when i go back to the zone i see rabbits standing around with the deer ... in EVERY zone so i think they are respawning as rabbits. why would EVERY whitetail deer zone also have whitetail rabbits standing around? that's why it appears the deer aren't respawning. my hunch is there's something in the code getting confused between the 2 whitetail identifiers. my deer population has been dwindling while i have rabbits everywhere now. i have a screenshot of a deer i shot dead in it's tracks and when i went to harvest it, it's tracks were rabbit tracks.

I know how busy you must be, but, have you noticed since the update, we no longer have a mission for each map? I only have the same mission listed only under codex, and it's the same for all maps. THANKS for your consideration.
I hadn’t noticed. I don’t do a lot of missions.
I think I have not figured out how to spawn the great one, do I have to look for all the red deer drinking zones on the map or hunt as many male deer as possible?
You have to discover every zone but not hunt every zone. Then keep killing the males level 5 and up. I only kill 4s when I have nothing else
Hey Lady wondering if you or anyone in the community knows anything about this. Since the update every single map and everything on it has been reset for me. I'm playing on console. I've lost every single icon on all maps. I spawn on any map and There is nothing anywhere at all just a completely empty map. No zones no outlooks no fast travel nothing. I've lost all tents tripods decoys etc and haven't even been returned to my inventory anywhere. Are they gone for good. Do I need to spend 750k+ again on all new equipment. And what about not having safe houses to travel to or look out towers, will they come back. My game is ruined pretty much, I spawn on a map and it's totally useless to me now. Any help guys is much appreciated thank you everyone.
Oh and I haven't even looked at my lodges yet I dare not :(
The icons are just turned off. Go into settings and turn on POI icons 😁
Go to settings, game & the n scroll down to POI icons then just enable it then you zones & fast travel and that should be back 👍🏼 hope it helps.
Oh my goodness thanks so much guys amazing, panicked big time there not gonna lie. Been busy with work and kids haven't had much time these past couple weeks, catching up with our Lady's content here and there when I can, (thanks Lady always great to see new uploads) but yep great stuff guys thank you for your help
Most of my zone have only one and the one i got more i kill the stag and they not always come back and when they come back

Just keep shooting. They can respawn into diff zones
For single zones do you still kill them? And in some respawn will it be more than one?
I don't cause it messes with zones. Killing deer out of single stag zones kills the zone and then you have to refind it.
After the update my zones have nothing at them at all, I have found around 45 zones ish and my mate even said my map was being weird, he then took me on his Cuatro map with the same zones and he had loads of Deer at all of his zones. My Savanna map has no Jackal zones at all and have tried all the possible times whilst running every lake, I even emailed the COTW companion app and they said the Jackal times have not changed so its defo broken 🙃. My other maps seem to be fine apart from animals being an hour late normally but Cuatro and Savanna is playing up for me and I know them maps like the back of my hand so its strange. I am going to email COTW direct so they know that certain animals are not even going to lakes at all etc and hope they fix it as the Jackal is the only animal I need a rare of out of the small predator's. Hope you are doing good though Lady!! 😊
I heard that jackals no longer have a drink time…I believe lady legend or another content creator said that so if that’s the case you’re going to have to hunt their feed/rest zones

I’m doing a guide for Africa tomorrow with all of the new drink times. Jackals no longer have a drink time and a lot of animals now drink along the east coast. Only one thing drinks at a time so you don’t see a lot of animals together.
So should I grind cuatro or te awaroa?

What happens if I see my great one and make a bad shot and miss it will I have to start the grind over or what?
If you miss it then you’re fine. But if you mess him up, you have to start again. I did.
Quick question if you kill a stag that is a single zone will the drink zone spawn at that lake it was previously at or a different area on the map. I have lots of single stack zones with mythicals which is a bummer bec I want to shoot them for respawns but I’m afraid once it’s gone I’m gonna have to hunt the map for another drink zone. My third great one was an initial spawn. He was in a new zone. I maybe shot 25 stags

Hi, I’m a huge fan, I’ve been trying to set up a whitetail grind on Layton. I’ve searched high and low and have only found about 20 out of 40 zones. I have watched all of your great one set up videos. What am I doing wrong?
Layton is very tough for finding whitetail zones. They can drink at the tiniest spot of water. Check all along the right coast, the bottom coast, listen for mating calls and follow tracks. It takes many many hours. I’ve found 31 zones in Layton. I’m going to go find the rest but the update is keeping me busy. Thank you!!!

What do u mean by beavers cotw doesn’t have beavers and why do they mess things up is it like a bug or something
It’s a bug where it says beavers knocked over your tent and it goes back into inventory. Very annoying
Just to be clear, do you have to restart the game entirely or just go back to the main menu of the game and press continue to go back into the map to help speed up the respawns?

Having a problem on my new RD grind that I'm finding alot of single animal zones, is it best to just shoot them and kill the zone in the hope multiples appear somewhere in their place?
It will just come back as another single stag zone. Best to set up for herds
I wish we could have 16 tents on console, Xbox max is 8 😔… I have about 30-35 drink zones. Does anyone know if there is a cap on number of zones per map?
I have 42 and I believe there are at least 50

You can grind on any of the red deer maps regardless of the update

I ran my whole map today. Not one red deer track or zone. My cuatro is screwed up. Out of the 4 maps it's the only one that's messed up

@@LadyLegendXO yes. I finally found 1 herd last night on the river but it was only 7 hinds no stags. I will say that I now have wolves at every lake on my map.

i have over 60 zones and my deer have stopped respawning. very frustrating. do they really need to make the game have a trillion zones you need to find ?
as for the lake you said used to be the best, i have 8 zones on that one.
i have way too many single stag zones which is getting frustrating because i don't feel like refinding the zone every time i shoot something so i avoid shooting them now but i have too many with level 7s and up. i think this is what's causing my map to stop respawning... too many single zones.
this game is so broken right now! as the saying goes, this game is all over the map!

That’s why I grind in te awaroa. No single stag zones. I have 4 great ones from that map.

The color of the racks looks a bit more gray for sure... The 7 racks should be 8 or 9, and one of the others should be a 7. I think the 7 rack is THE best looking rack in the whole game..

For anyone doing the red deer grind in Cuatro has anyone found more then 54 zones. That’s how many I’ve found so far and I don’t know if that’s all of them or if there’s more. Thanks:)

Doesn't matter for me i shoot every stag thats how I got my first two red deer great ones going for my 3rd
Instead of buying all 32 tripods. I suggest just carrying one with you specially since you're just hunting red deer. That way you can set your tripod anywhere and dint have to spend all that money
You’re gonna make so much money doing a red deer grind. You’ll be able to afford piles of tripods. I went from 600k to 2.5 million and bought piles of tents and tripods. Red deer pay a lot!
@@LadyLegendXO I understand that. My runs in SRP net me a lot of cash and I got max tents and tripods on that map. BUT the only problem with set tripods is some times the animals can be behind trees and be a little further away then usual making for uncomfortable shots. Carrying a tripod you can set it anywhere at any tim and it'll be hard for this pesky animals to hide 😬.

In Real life in Spain the 300 is one of the best calibers to hunt red deer but I guess the game does not work like that.

That's why you need to start grinding.
Absolutely! If you set up a grind and start killing turn, you will spawn diamonds quickly
I Just got a Modern Rifles pack. And everyone use me as a like button if you didn't even get a diamond on great one grind like I did.
