- The update changed FOUR MAPS drastically with the last update and Savanna Vurhonga was one of them. Savanna has GREATLY CHANGED with this update! All of the zone times have changed, most of the animal locations have changed and nothing seems to be the same! So in today's video, I have all of the NEW DRINK TIMES and some Rest and Feed times because not every species in Savanna drinks anymore! We do a lot of searching and find where you'll find MOST of the species on the map since the update! I will be making an UPDATED SUPER GUIDE for Savanna with fully detailed hot spot guides but I need time to learn the map first! So I thought this video would help in the meantime! I hope this vid helps you get around and enjoy newly updated Savanna MORE! Lady Legend XO

I just decided to play vurhonga and realized that everything has changed I looked up a guide on UA-cam and didn’t see any guides after the change except this one posted 45 minutes ago, I can always count on your guides Lady they help a lot! I appreciate all the hard work you put into the videos!!

Sup lady legend I've been playing call of the wild fir a while now lookin at drink zones feed zones and still nothing sometimes I've been chasing animals all day I'm I doing anything wrong

Thank you so much for this. Ever since the pop reset Vurhonga has been my most played map. I've gotten a Diamond Springbok, a diamond Gemsbok, and an albino Lvl. 3 Wildebeest. Hopefully this vid will rack up that number.

Thank you for the information in the video it was very helpful, I was able to find jackal feed zones walking north from the old gemsbok lake on my map I have 5 to 6 zones in that area.

Thanks for the videos, they’ve been extremely helpful. I found 2 drink zones for cape at the lake that use to be great for a bunch of species. Directly across from the hunting structure and to the right of that zone. Thanks again.

@@LadyLegendXO I checked out the whole east coast last night, from the inlet at the top, all the way along & all the way down & found 14 great zones in total, I think they've done a great job 😎
I played COTW after 3 months of not playing and wondered where all the animals went
I think that the water round the edge of the map are rivers rather than the coast, which is why the animals go there to drink
I’m looking forward to any new guides you do

yes, I could see all of that. I'll go to the east coast too. I was not there yet. I guess I didn't do anything wrong with the equipment. it was exactly what you suggested. and i discovered a lake in silver ridge peaks way up north. you should go there too. it's worth it. the lake is at "two fawns". i will set up some setups there. you should also make a video there. that will definitely be great.

My 1st thought on the changes was "Noooo, the Gemsbok-Super-Hotspot is gone 😭".
2nd it's nice they moved some zones to the coast. I never really hunted on the east and west coast.
3rd WTF? Springbock on the plateau? Interesting.
Edit: After discovering 20 drink zones along the eastern coast I shot a nice brown diamond cape buffalo.
This is definitely a nice hotspot for capes.

I found a couple of jackal rest zones near by the pathway to the Nsuku Nyeleti outpost, the time for both said 6:30 - 10:30.

If you run around the border of the map both ways from the inlet it is very abundant for Cape buffalo. Primarily to the right but they go all the way to the bridge and maybe further.

Thanks for the video! I’m getting back to my lion grind for an albino I noticed that there are more drink areas then before…I have 36 or 37 which is interesting. I hope I’ve found all of my zones. Also, I did notice jackals in the upper left area of the map near the lake that used to be a big kudu hot spot. I think they were at that lake before.

Got my second cape buff tho not st a drink zone but a good feed zone near the bottom right. You csn make a camp and you within a triangæe of feed zones..just

I just ran south from Fishermans outpost and didn;t find a drinking zone of any sort ,weird .I play on ps4 but usually your hotspots work great for me too . Interesting...

Lions actually drink at the top left old Cape buffalo lake!
That is strange... I'm starting on Savanna and I've found a few Springbok drink zones not far from the the spawn point, a couple of very small lakes. I'm fairly new to the game (only 80+ hours), perhaps I'm mistaken. There is a really annoying bug in this game where the audio from moving through vegetation sticks to you until you stop and jump or crouch. Not gamebreaking. I mentioned it on steam in my review, as It is annoying, and the actual red sound bars carry over too. Enjoying your tutorials. Peace.
That’s an older zone. They sometimes stay on the map from before the update with the old times. Hope your sound issue gets fixed!
Go back to the spot in the last part of your video where you found the Springbok there are two Jackal zones there

Unfortunately jackel seem to be basically everywhere but only 1 or 2 to a pack , they spook before you see them most of the time I fear that they probably just made jackel the hardest species to hunt in the entire game better hope you got a diamond before the update because it's definitely gonna be a hard one now

so, went to the east coast today. found everything. all drinking areas and I got the mystical cape buffalo. class 8 and one with 7 rating. 2 golds. Perfect. + 2x blue wildebeest in gold. savannah a total of 4x gold. will examine the other areas tomorrow. let's see what's going on. thanks for the tip.

Drink zones are nice. I however have been trying to find some feed zones in the bottom half of the map for blue wildebeest for a mission. I need to take a photo of one eating.
Well not even a hour after commenting, I managed to find one feed zone and got the picture for the side mission. The drink zones being changed did help out because I needed to shoot 3 of them at not less then 164 yards and one of the drink zones you showed got me a clear shot at that range. Your videos have been so helpful for the most part while doing missions and over all a huge help with just hunting and not doing missions.

Shot 💎 Wildebeest at twin lakes, also found 👑 female there. Shot legendary 💎 Cape in old Kudu hotspot on south west of map. Bottom cost line has like 20 cape zones it’s crazy.

Just a short time ago i ended my hunt on Vurhonga savanna with 50000 session score. No diamonds but I had plenty of lions.
i just decimated the fallow and red deer populations on te awaroa yesterday, 2 diamonds but one missed the heart by inches making it gold :(. both lobbies were 90k combined

Been playing on this map for hours.. Have not been able to find anything other than Lions, wilderbeests and Gemsbok. :c
There’s kudu all along the coast during their drink time. Have to be there at the right time. Lots of springbok bottom left corner around 730 onwards.
I was mainly trying to find Springbok in a mission area, but all I found was Lions... Many Lions... Angry Lions.. That ate me. 🤣

I’m totally ok w/ gemsbok drinking at night instead of wildebeest because the gemsbok can be seen way easier at night
So, I had to buy a new console last month. Downloaded everything back but all tents were removed and put in my inventory(88 tents). Annoying but at least I got them back. However, all tripods just vanished. I’m having to drop $16k for tripods, again. Anybody else experience this?
