Just saw them last night in Germantown, TN. They closed the show with this same version without amplification. And that is definitely the peak of the performance, people feel it in their skin.
Chris Church is so talented that he emanates light, He seems so humble and profesional, he plays the Violin in a havenly way, I know he plays other instuments beautifuly and hearing him sing is very delightful, thank You God for people like Jesse Cook, Chriss Church and all those awessome musicians that feed our souls with such gifted talents you give them. I have been to several of Jesse Cook's concerts it is awesome when they come into the audience to perform. Sad to see comatose people in the audience, if you can't FEEL his music it's time to close the lid your life's over....
Scootosan....my Canadian wife couldn’t resist moving her booty when Jesse walked into the audience. Some people just sit there without any appreciation for the performers. She got a kiss from Jesse. Them Canadians stick together. It was a wonderful experience.
I am so jealous of Chris Church. The guy can play the violin in such a way that it has an almost otherworldly quality about it, and he can also skillfully play wind instruments like that Duduk (look at the Incantation video as an example):
