Looks like you’re off to a good start! I finished my exhaust build the other day and tig welded all of it. Definitely the more difficult process to learn how to use but it sure looks nice when things work right!
im by no means a professional but over the past 7 years or so ive taught my self to tig weld by lots of practice and youtube videos. aluminum is deff an art when it comes to welding. i struggled alot with aluminium and the biggest game changer that i found was a gas lens. i had a very similar issues as you where i just could not get the weld to be clean. i bought a cheap glass lens kit off amazon and instantly had better welds. i run a number 8 ceramic cup and keep the flow around 20. other advise is dont rush. when you start the weld, go about 50-75% amp for a few seconds and let the cleaning action of the AC work for a few seconds. you should have a white frosty ring around your weld. then melt your puddle. let the puddle stabilize and then proceed to dip and move. feel free to reach out to me if you have questions. best of luck but your off to a great start!
Looking good man I am just learning myself a great guy to learn off of and has helped me a lot and with timing and torch angle would be pacific arc tig welding he even has an on line class
Hey man, speed is a little slow and looks like you might be digging with the filler rod just from watching. Let the torch melt the tip of the filler. Looking good for just 3 weeks in for sure!
cool to see videos like this from you i will be tuned in for sure

25 is too high. I’d keep it at 15. Is that 6061 that you’re welding on? What rod are you using? What are your settings on your machine?
are you still building the EDGE cts2 screens? my screen is cracked and wouldn’t mind an upgrade
