Easy Hack For Perfectly Tiling Diagonal Corners! In this video I give you a quick tip on how to successfully agline the grout lines in the corner of a wall when installing any type of tile on a diagonal. This is a simple little trick that will make the job go faster and make it much easier to install tile on a 45 Degree angle.

Hi Sal, i didn't find an answer to this in your library: When a bathroom entry door (and its wall) is off a few degrees from being parallel to the large format tiles that i aligned to the tub edge, how to best cut the tile edge and the threshold ? i could go 1 or 2 :
1) Saw the wood threshold so that both its front and back lines are parallel to each other and cut the LFT tile edge to be parallel to that but then that tile edge and also the silicon joint will be visibly not parallel with all the tiles in the room.
2) Cut the threshold line on the tile side to be parallel to the tiles reference but then the front line of the threshold won't be parallel to its back since it is absorbing that few degrees difference (threshold width will vary side to side) but the silicon joint will be perfectly parallel to the tiles in the bathroom (good).
Which one is more professional looking ? I tend to think 2 because the tile will end parallel to the tiles in the room and the sillicon joint although the threshold will have varying width side to side.
How did you determine the cuts? And exactly how did you make them. I find if I am off on my cut just the slightest it makes one side longer than the other causing lines to not match up. Like the installation technique
Buy a better cutter.
@@SalDiBlasi Wow what a great response from a 30yr setter. No shit Sherlock.
I am serious, A high end cutter makes all the difference.
When your wallboard is level you should be able to make the same cut up the entire wall. Prep is key
