This is phenomenal. Amazing video. We sailed from Roseau to Portsmouth today and encountered a very chilled out sperm whale swimming on the surface, it was an awesome experience just listening to him breathe and to be within 100m of him (presuming him as he was alone). Great, great video, well done!

When we saw him he was swimming along the surface at a fairly slow speed. He passed us heading the opposite direction like that, then dived when he was astern of us by about 100m

Thank you! Any encounter with a cetacean is a memorable one, and it’s hard to compare. But sometimes you get some straight up magic. Love humpbacks as well - where did you do that? Moorea, silver banks, Tonga?
@@DiveHard it is a truely humbling experience. I actually had my encounter in Mozambique. They have a congregation point along the coast between June and October every year to give birth, so we've had some amazing encounters above and under water.

Yes we certainly do! But in general, most trips we run are only open to folks we know / have dived with in the past (it is important to know the skill level and vibes of everyone on the boat, especially for whale expeditions). BUT all folks are welcome to come and dive with us where we are based in Jupiter (FL) where we take people out for world class shark diving and snorkeling. We also do whale sharks out of Cancun for the public as well - shoot an email to divehardcreative@gmail.com if that sounds appealing! Cheers
This is DEFINITELY a bucket list trip to do!! I'm not scuba certified and I want to be so bad.. But I live in the desert.. Haha.. I'd love to go on these trips with you guy's!! Exploring the Ocean's and studying Cetacean 's would be so AWESOME!! I'm a Helicopter Mechanic for an agency that keeps illegals and bad people out of the country.. But the Ocean is where my heart belongs.. 👍👍
Don't have to be scuba certified to snorkel with whale sharks out of Mexico! That's probably the most popular trip we run for folks that are just getting started - and even suitable for a 4 year old. Cheers!
