You had me all choked up too! What a whale of a good time you girls had on Dominica. I hope wildlife is having a chance to recover while we humans figure out our new normal. This video made my afternoon, thanks for sharing.
Oh wow thank you so much :) I was really hoping this video would move people you know :) For me it was super hard to edit because I got so emotional every time haha
Such a beautiful experience and you're so authentic, it's really nice to see you enjoying this so much. Nature is certainly the best asset we' ve got and we ought to make an effort not only as inhabitants of our corner of the planet but also as tourists to reduce the negative impact we make in the world. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures in the Caribbean!
I have been waiting for this vlog since you went! I think it was February or maybe January and I loved all your stories. This is really my dream come true too and it made me motivated to work hard and be able to afford something like this soon when lockdown is over. Thank you Sandy
Ahw I’m sure you will get to experience it soon, too! :) If you really want to see some, Dominica is a good shout as the chances are much higher than anywhere else! :)
Amazing! We went on a whale watching tour in the US, but unfortunately we did not see any. The guide said we were in the 1% club who weren't lucky enough. So we got a second ticket for a ride. But we never went there again.
Yes exactly! That’s what we did too. You’d fly into Antigua with let’s say Virgin and then take a little plane to Dominica from there. I’m currently working on my blogpost which will have all the info of how to get there ❤️
Hi, Sandy, that was fantastic, back in the days when social distancing was not the phrase of the year and hardly anyone had heard of covid 19, let's all keep our fingers crossed that we will soon be able to get back to something more normal. I'm sure you can't wait to travel again, we can't wait to see you travel. Where will you go on your first trip and when?. Looking forward to your next video soon.
A whale of a tale. A big splash. Wonder if whales have memories like elephants? Wait until Sandy meets mighty blue whales, the biggest creatures ever to grace this planet. Their tongues weigh as much as an elephant, & their newborns are [only] 8800 pounds, tiny. :-)
@@SandyMakesSense Yes! Sandy meets the gentle giants of the animal kingdom. I think the biggest one was only 36 yards long. Typical blues weigh in at a measly 420,000 pounds. And they love to eat krill.
Excellent video Sandy, not jealous at all (I'm been very sarcastic) I could tell how much the sighting meant by your face at the end. looking forward to next weeks video.
Hands down one of the most incredibly experiences ever! And sorry you feel jealous but I waited until lockdown starts to ease so people can start booking travel again when they watch this :)
When I saw the prices on that menu, I wondered WHAT currency those dollars were in?! ($60 for a lunch) but then I looked it up and there was an East Carribean Dollar that's valued at about 0.37 cents of a USD, so the $60 lunch was $22 in USD = 16GBP, so I guess not SO bad :)
WE BACK BABY!!! ❤️ Have you ever been whale watching?
I feel like I have now after your video hi hi. But no it is on my bucket list

Hallo Sandy, our precious planet needs our help more than ever, thank you for sharing these special moments of one of the wonders of the deep.
It really does! ❤️ I just hope people will take better care of it now that we saw what happened 😟

I enjoyed watching you enjoy it. lol

Sandy i looked at flights to Dominica but you have to change in antiga is this correct?
Yes exactly! That’s what we did too. You’d fly into Antigua with let’s say Virgin and then take a little plane to Dominica from there. I’m currently working on my blogpost which will have all the info of how to get there ❤️
