Great video! Running a HME 12v at the moment but was looking to doing one myself.
I bought this same set up. That being said I pulled my boxes to charge my batteries for this year and had water in the bottom of the box. I followed this video to set mine up. Not sue why it had water in it but i did just order two more. If i get water again I will change to a different type of box. The cords are great.
I see that in all different box setups and there is no physical explanation for water intrusion. Sla batteries will sweat when over discharged so that could be the source. Try submerging them in a bucket of water and see if you can determine the leak. Then reach out to me with your finds.
I bought a few of your chewproof cables for my tactacam reveals a couple weeks ago and just realized now you guys sold the spade connectors,gland and cable as a kit for a few cents more 😅 Getting ready to build my boxes tonight but looks like I have to order me some glands and connectors lol Do you guys sell connectors and glands? There is tons of them on amazon but not sure what I need. Thanks for the video though!
Mike, Can you add one of your solar panels to this box and crimp to the same battery terminal? Thanks.
Of course you could modify it but you should also add in a solar charge controller

It's metal covered to prevent rodents from chewing it

I don't know about those models. Often times it's on the bottom of the camera where you plug it in.
so if i buy a two pack of the power sonic 12v 12ah batteries on ebay. What specific battery charger do you recommend for safely charging the spare battery when i swap them out. Thank you.
Nocco Genius 1 or 2 or Walmart has a 3amp charger in the automotive section made by everstart
Do you sell boxes that are completely made and all you gotta do is drop the battery in and plug up? Or are they all DIY? Buying one either way. Thanks!

Good morning, how long do 12V batteries last without charging, and how many photos and videos can you take without having to recharge the battery?
It's a difficult thing to put a number too due to many variables, including the size of the battery, battery chemistry, cellular signal, temperature, and night pics with flash vs day pics. A 12ah sla battery could as many as 10000 pics between charges
@@herd360 Ok, how long does it last more or less 1 month or 3 months, it's just to know if it's better than the solar panel, since you have the charge it doesn't even reach me a month

It happens sometimes. There is something in your checkout flagging the payment processor fraud alert i have no control over that. I'm sorry your having issues.
