This reaction was everything. I laughed so much along with you. Also how dense is Marina? LMAO can you not see the girl is not happy at this news? And even though Pen was really mad, what she said to Eloise was true. Eloise has the privilege of being a rich Bridgerton, with now a Duchess for a sister. She can get away without marriage Pen can't. LOL can't wait for the upcoming reactions.
Thank you! LMAO could she not see this poor girl’s heart is breaking right in front of her eyes?! It is sadly true, it seems like other members of society really admire the Bridgertons whereas view the Featheringtons as a joke🥺 I don’t think Eloise realises that the hierarchy puts her in a better position than others, even though her situation still isn’t great😩
In the books, Penelope's mother expects her to be the one who stays at home with her and never marries. I don't actually see her make any attempts to marry Penelope off on the show either.
None of the characters here are royals except for the queen and the prince. The nobility has property and there are rents from people who work the land and interest on investments. (The royals have a lot of money this way too. Today's royals have a ridiculous amount of money, but I won't get into that.) There are also rich people (people attending the balls and so on) who are not nobility. Daphne is the daughter and sister of viscounts, but, since they are towards the lower end of the rankings, she is Miss Bridgerton (you may have heard one of the people gossiping about her saying "She's a commoner herself" or something like that). I actually think she should have been announced at her debut as the Honourable Miss Bridgerton or similar. "Honourable" is a courtesy title for the younger sons of earls and all sons and daughters of viscounts. This may be because her father is dead, however (I'm not sure).
I always thought they would simply save some money and ask a maid how “a lady comes to be with child” and all that. I mean, they’d probably know that and for the right coin they could tell them?
The landed gentry like the Bridgertons and the Duke of Hastings get rent money from their tenant farmers. If I remember correctly from the books, the Featheringtons are "new money"... so the merchant class. That's why Mrs. F. is overdoing it to try try to fit in with "the ton".
@@starsweeper11 The Featheringtons are 'newer' money--she was of a lower class and married him, a lesser noble [He's only a Baron]. They have lesser lands and he keeps exceeding their income with his gambling.
"I'd love a prequel to the queen meeting her king." Fourth episode of the show, you said this. Pretty good.
The collective awwwwwwwing when Daphne kisses Simon back sent me 🤣😍
TOO CUTE!
“What if I want to fly” - Eloise with the killer lines.
I just KNOW that she would be one of the women that got us to where we are today
Penelope and Colin - you guys are so invested in them and I love it 😍🤣
Penelope has her own struggles and Eloise has no clue. I don’t think she’s told even Eloise how in love with Colin she is.
I love them sm I can't even- she's probably kept it very private because she doesn't want it to ruin her friendship with Eloise :(
At least Anthony learned from the Berbrooke disaster and understands that Daphne needs to affirm what she wants.
I loved when he said 'I know better than to give your answer for you', it showed his growth and that he listened to what Daphne said!

Maybe they didn't think too much of it and thought it was just something that came with marriage so didn't really question it?
Don’t they own land and are basically landlords?
Ohhhh maybe that's how they make money, honestly have no clue :/

Do the Brigertons just have horses saddled all the time just in case they want to stop a duel?
Well, if someone chooses not to have children, they have a right to that. Should be honest with her, though.
Uh, the next one is up. I really should be sleeping. Oh well. 😉
Priorities😌
@@TheCornerverse how right you are.
I know you think Anthony and Siena are cute, but Kate is coming ♥ ️😌 and she is strongly the love of his life
