- For our 30TH anniversary, Dan and I decided to bikepack the Kettle Valley Rail trail from Rock Ridge Canyon near Princeton to Baynes Lake in British Columbia. Our son Zach joined us for the first three days before heading home through Kelowna. Beautiful beyond words!
Looks like an awesome trip. Putting in on my short list. :)
Paradise on earth! Excellent documentation of your trip, very jealous, although I did the Myra Canyon to Beaverdale section last month. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comments. Such a beautiful area of this great land. May you have more adventures in your future!
Looks like you had great weather. I'm planning the same route next summer. Looking forward to part 2!
Thanks. Yes it was great weather - just really hot. I hope you have a great trip next year. It’s such a beautiful ride!
Thank you for the inspiration to get out there and have a senior moment on the trail. Please publish a link to the route.
Ha ha thanks! Glad to inspire “senior moments” on the trail. We took our route off the “BC Trail” which is longer but mostly what we followed (apart from skipping a part with a ride from friends and going further around to avoid the famous “Gray Creek Pass” - too much for this ol’ girl!). bikepacking.com/routes/bc-trail/
Very enjoyable visually. I missed your comments and observations because I had to mute the volume to escape the music. I WAS interested in your comments. Too bad.
Thanks for your feedback.
Awesome video! Great work!

Nice video, thanks. i like the look of your day 3 wild camp spot. is it close to the kvr?
Thanks for watching! Yes it was right off the kvr just beyond Myra canyon on the east end. Had to fight the mosquitos for it but it was beautiful!
