Very nice Lachie. One of the new guys ( very talented new guy ) that I helped with his DLR is now killing me with it and I was thinking that the leg drag was one thing I should be doing. The tip about making sure the trapped leg is pushed to the side in HQ is great. I never feel comfortable there because my opponent usually seems able to drive me back out of the position. Now I know I need to be smashing the leg down if I can. I am almost looking forward to being ensnared in DLR.
Please never stop uploading! What do you think to recovering guard by stiff arming with a cross collar grip and sitting up with a posting arm and hip escaping?

It's almost pointless at this stage. I end up saving every video you make to favourites... I should just make a Lachlan playlist
Awesome :)

That is called a sit up escape. Marcelo Garcia has a video for this somewhere and Jeff Rockwell has a whole series based around the sit up escape.
Yeah that's a good way to recover for sure.
The opponent would be holding ankle or pants tight though so it would be difficult to move your right leg to smash his DLR leg?
once u weaken the hook it should be doable
cool
so young ariel tabak!
