Great work Ladies! I love how Kristie kept adding ingredients to the finished FM as if it was part of the process! Soon, soon, soon! I wanna be in the Club.

You guys! I thought pieces of my hair fell on my phone screen but it was your counter top design! lol. I love everything I’m seeing so far in your kitchen. Congratulations!
Love these small tips! I made sheet pan fajitas today and took your recommendation to double it! I did it a little differently in that I baked up half and put the other half in a freezer bag to make another day when I don’t have time to chop or it’s winter and red bell peppers are insane! Would love a video on recipes you would do to take advantage of seasonal produce for yum factor, but also cost 😊 You can use video footage you already have😆 I just want your thoughts and expertise! So glad the fajitas worked out for you! We don't have any videos specific for seasonal produce, but we have seasonal videos that end up using seasonal produce because... seasons! lol
You may have talked about this in a vid I have not seen yet, but How do you Organize Your Meals?? Cooked vs Not-Cooked and Beef Vs Chicken vs Pork vs NON-Meat.
We've talked about it from time to time but we tend to keep them fairly neat and tidy, but neither of us put our meals in any specific order. In fact, when we do our big mega sessions, because we do one protein at a time, all the ground beef ends up at the bottom and all the chicken ends up at the top because we do it last! So we try to mix it around as much as we can so we don't end up having chicken every night. I call this system the chaos system! lol Others are very organized about their freezers. One lady in our FB group keeps track of them in an app on her phone, and then once a week moves them from her deep freeze in the garage to the fridge freezer in the kitchen. She is VERY organized! Everybody seems to have their own take on how organized they want to get, and that's cool too. :)
It would be nice if you started mega videos with how successful new recipes went from the last batch/which experiments didn't go well/need tweeked/are making it into the regular rotation!

Thanks L.W! It feels good to be in the new kitchen too! Just a few last things to get done, like lighting and odds and ends, but it's all coming together!
Sharla, with you having such a big family do you use more than one freezer meal when feeding your family? I apologize if this has been answered in a past video, but I am just now making my way through more content.
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. It depends. If it’s a protein only (like marinated chicken for example), then I can stretch it out by adding additional side dishes. If it’s a meal with a serving size of 6 or 8, then it feeds my full family unless it’s a favourite and they all want seconds. In those instances, I usually know ahead of time and I do pull out two bags of that one. And if it’s a dinner where there are extra friends or my son’s girlfriend, then I do pull out multiple freezer meals. Doing that tonight as a matter of fact.
Sharla, I love the new backsplash and color on the island! And nice to see your herb garden again. I really enjoyed the behind the scenes hustle and bustle. The recipes look delicious, some I really want to try. Thanks for thus mega session.

Love the friendship between you both, i wish one day i will find a friend who also loves to cook or make freezer meals, saw some videos more times in the timeline but today the first time i was looking haha got another follower ❤
I am so very tickled to have found your videos; with two daughters-in-law due with babies in the next few weeks and a daughter with a six-month-old that had an unexpected house move, I am going to make many of your slow cooker freezer meals for all three families. Thank you for all the effort you put into your videos; your friendship is lovely to watch.
Ladies!! Great video as always! Please please figure out where the mug came from. My daughters love that show! The kitchen is so beautiful and I love that the handles are where you want them...❤
Did you know, or maybe someone already told you…if you rub your wet fingers on your knife after you work with your garlic it will take the smell from your hands. Someone told me this many years ago. I tried it and it truly does work.
Thank you! I think so too. Still waiting for the electrical to be done, the faux cupboards by the sink to be put back on, and the potlights and ceiling repairs.
Just a hint, as I freeze root veggies all the time, blanch your colored beets separately from each other and bag separately. Yes, it is a pain but this will keep the colors from running and will keep them from going mushy in the freezer.
Thank you for the hint. We certainly learnt this time that we should have bagged the different types of beets separately as the darkest beets coloured the other ones.
It took me 3 times of trying different methods before I finally got it right. Good news is if you do that then grind the beets up and put them with ground turkey, it makes it red-like beef and your kids have no idea they are eating ground turkey or beets. @@FreezerMeals101
Christie I need you to be DOSM at my house also! I just bought a jar of Garam Masala this week on Amazon -- add on to another item I was trying to get the next day. I was sure I needed it. I had been trying to find it to buy and it would be sold out. Welp! It seems I DID get a jar a couple weeks back and even made up recipes with it! Now I have probably a 2 year supply for my household!
I'm TERRIBLE at it Angie! 🤣🤣 I once made garam masala using taco seasoning because I was also out of cumin 🤦♀️. And I currently have two containers of mace that have never been opened because I've been meaning to make these cookies for Christmas for the last two years. This year I'm going to make them! And not buy more mace! 🤣
I love watching you both. We have completely different lives but you are my comfort channel. When I’m cooking my vegan meals for just myself and partner, in our pokey one bed London flat kitchen, I often watch your videos. It feels like I’m back home with my family in a big kitchen listening to you talk. Sharla also looks so similar to my mum which adds to the comfort. There’s such warmth in what you’ve created with this community.
I am new to all this So sorry for some jump questions. How are they all prepared once you want to eat them? Can you repeat that just putting the bag in hot water or microwaving or back to an oven? What is the best way?
They all have cooking instructions on them. There are a variety of cooking methods. Some are fully cooked and just need a reheat. Some have just the protein and so you would thaw it and cook it as if you had made it fresh and add a starch and your veg to make it a complete meal. Some are great for throwing in the slow cooker when you have a hectic day. It's like you would normally cook things, they're just prepared and ready to go so you don't have to dig out your cutting board and dirty any dishes. We did all that on assembly day! I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

Re: Shakshuka. I CANNOT eat a runny yolk (long story that ends in me having a tracheotomy that stayed in for 6 months) so I can't order it out. At home I just hard boil eggs, quarter them, and nestle them in to reheat. FYI there are curries made with deep-fried hard-boiled eggs if you want other meatless meals. Oooh - Look up an Iranian chicken dish Khoresh-e Fesenjoon by Samin Nosrat! Lastly, I love coconut. I mean love, love. Nice you adjust things to your taste so you can still enjoy a version of something.
Bang Bang Shrimp... It might not have frozen well because you used mayo. You could use something like Miracle Whip (is that a thing in Canada?) instead if you want to try again.

Tadaaaa!!!!! Its here!!! All,white is not my jam! But it looks stunning! ( living in military housing everything is all whitw all the time...and im not allowed to change it... so i feel differently) 😂 butttt i do love the reveal...and cannot wait to see the added planta and greenery... you know i love me some plants 🪴
I know you were rooting for a peanut butter backsplash. 🤣🤣 White is a great neutral to dress up for different looks but I would be bummed if I couldn't make changes in my house either. You seem like someone that craves colour in her life and we love that!
Sharla! I know you had a video way back in the day... that showed how to prepare large amounts of ground beef all at once. But i can't find it! 😭 And do you have one for onions?

I have an allergy to the skin of a tomato. Just the skin. It's taken me many many years to get recipes right for me. I have found that I can use crushed tomatoes (which are pre-skinned) in recipes but not diced. Do you think most of your recipes would taste similiar enough with crushed instead of diced?
Oh my goodness! What a tough allergy to have to try figure out! I know that crushed tomatoes are juicier than diced tomatoes so you can do it but maybe use less than what is called for, or reduce another liquid in the recipe to adjust for texture/moisture content. It may be a bit of trial and error in the beginning to get right, but I think it's doable. Good luck!
I had a cat that liked butter beans (the really large lima beans) and cantaloupe! Long ago, but hey there is at least one other weirdo cat in the world!
THIS IS HOW I WOULD EAT A HOT DOGS I seriously dislike a bun I brake both ends to reduce the soggy part anyway you just made an Italian proud 😊 Pizza dough makes me happy 🎉
When the kitchen is complete (still waiting on lighting, electrical, and a few other odds and sods), we will add some decor, so it won't always be this white... don't worry!
So appreciate your time and commitment to sharing your content. You may want to watch Ethan Chlebowski’s video titled “Does fresh garlic actually taste better than garlic in a jar”. I think you may be interested in the results and potentially save yourself significant money after viewing. Happy cooking! With gratitude and grace!
I have been trying to join for quite some time. I get the application filled out and then when I get finished, it automaticaly scrolls back up to the top. Why won't it move forward? This is getting tiresome. I will give it a short while longer and then I will just have to quit following. It does me no good to watch and not be abel to copy what you do.
I figured it out! It’s the auto fill for your name and info when entered from a phone or tablet. The system shows it as filled in, but doesn’t recognize the auto fill when you select enter. Don’t use autofill or back it out erase one letter, type it back in and then go to the next tab.
Sharla, I think you overdid the white in your kitchen. Way way too much white. You know how in the winter time you look at snow and it’s almost blinding you because it’s too much white? Yeah that’s your kitchen now. Please rethink the backsplash or something.
That’s really rude! She’s still working on HER kitchen. If you want you kitchen to be red purple and pink that’s your choice it’s your kitchen. If she wants her kitchen white it clean, and beautiful. Get over yourself

Woot!! Woot!!🥳 I could feel this coming today!! Yay!!🎉🎉
Oh Christie, drink some warm honey lemon tea🍋💕🍯.
K, getting my blankie so I can curl up and watch away…
So glad you're here! And my throat is much better now, thank you! Sorry that you have to listen to me. It improves so much in day two! Enjoy the video!!
I'm watching and waiting maybe not so patiently for my gnochi sale:)
❤ love your kitchen 😻
Thank you!! 😊
The kitchen is looking awesome 🎉
Thank you 😊
Sharla! I know you had a video way back in the day... that showed how to prepare large amounts of ground beef all at once. But i can't find it! 😭 And do you have one for onions?
Try the playlist, 'Freezer meal prep and tutorials'

@@FreezerMeals101 thank you so so so much. 💖
Love your kitchen ❤
Thank you!! 😊
To get the onion and garlic smell off your hands, wash with soap and water and rub your stainless steel faucet after lathering. It works well
Thanks for the tip!
how do you get your ring light to work mine doesn't attach right to my tripod I make videos to teach my grandson to cook as we can't get together much
We bought ours with the tripod attached. Here is a link. It's Amazon Canada but if you search up ring lights on Amazon, you'll find something similar.
ATUMTEK 12" Selfie Ring Light with 63" Extendable Tripod Stand, Selfie Light with Phone Holder and Bluetooth Remote, Dimmable LED Ring Light for Streaming, TikTok, Zoom, Vlogging, UA-cam, etc a.co/d/fEdGgNs
I think it's really sweet that you're teaching your grandson through making videos! ❤️
thank you i really love your videos@@FreezerMeals101
Good luck!
Thank you for the info. Makes total sense. I'll give it a try. ❤
its ok Sharla, I have lists that have lists and special sequences and , yeah- I get you lady!
🤣 so many lists! It's not weird if it works! 🤷♀️
So I went and helped my son do freezer meals went to store two times….Have question is a white kidney bean a canelloni bean or a light kidney bean?
Canelloni bean
I love these videos! Second time watching
Aw, thanks so much! ❤️
I had a cat that liked butter beans (the really large lima beans) and cantaloupe! Long ago, but hey there is at least one other weirdo cat in the world!
Cats are weird, man!
Im also always the tall one haha (183cm) seems funny to see someone else is way taller also!!😊
I’m picky about eggs, too. Scrambled only! And I’m not a huge fan of coconut either. But sometimes I can handle it. See-ladies- you aren’t alone 😉
It's ok to be picky. 🤷♀️ Some things you just can't change.
I found Mango Tangerine juice!
🎉🎉🎉
THIS IS HOW I WOULD EAT A HOT DOGS I seriously dislike a bun I brake both ends to reduce the soggy part anyway you just made an Italian proud 😊 Pizza dough makes me happy 🎉
☺️
I LOVE Flemish style still life!
I had to Google what that was, but now I like my mug even more! Thank you.
@@FreezerMeals101 It is my favorite. I even had my mom paint me one for my dining room, skull and everything.
Fun Fact: Crazy glue was originally designed to BE surgical sutures. All other uses are incidental.
I've heard that!
All the white is hard to watch, but love the content.
When the kitchen is complete (still waiting on lighting, electrical, and a few other odds and sods), we will add some decor, so it won't always be this white... don't worry!
In America does you eating your product mean you can get your taxes to pay for you weekly shop?
We’re in Canada and no, we can’t write off our groceries if we eat the food.
Wow that kitchen is white
🤣 yes. There will be some updating to come. Thanks for watching!
Yay!
Yay!
Oh no! We can't have that. Please email us at support@freezermeals101.com and we can get you sorted. Thanks for reaching out. 😊
Try doing on laptop. Try different browsers.
We will probably be adding some greenery or other accents. Have no fear. The reno isn't yet complete so check back for the final reveal!
Sharla, I'm sorry that people are so rude. Thanks for all you do!
I love the white! My house is mostly white too. Clean, and it makes plants/colors look spectacular!
That’s really rude! She’s still working on HER kitchen. If you want you kitchen to be red purple and pink that’s your choice it’s your kitchen. If she wants her kitchen white it clean, and beautiful. Get over yourself
@@FreezerMeals101honestly love your response and how you handled this negativity, Makes me like y’all even more than I did before. ❤ new kitchen looks great!!
