    hi Dr Dray happy Tuesday, I suffer with psoriatic arthritis I use two crutches everyday just to get around...unfortunately sometimes life won’t let you get on and do the things you love..but one thing I can do is watch you and your great advice, your one my enjoyments for the day and your mom and tybee on the weekends so thank you from the bottom of my heart....see you tomorrow x

    Using a planner helps me. I use one on my phone and set an alarm that goes off 15 minutes or so before I'd like to start a task. Helps me stay on track throughout the day. On house-cleaning days it can be boring, so I play some music or a podcast in the background while I fold laundry and what not.. helps keep me going.. kind of the same way that music helps me at the gym, I guess, but instead of energetic music its something like piano jazz or blues. Also, I have sometimes written myself notes or motivational reminders on sticky notes and stuck them in little spots around the house where I'll see them to remind me to stay motivated. I've gotten used to waking up pretty early, but if I need extra help I tell my mom to call me when she wakes up. She wakes up at 4am everyday and has always been that way since we were little. She'll call me and won't let me off the phone until I am all the way up! Those are my tactics, I suppose! Thanks for sharing Dr. Dray!

    I just wanted to say thank you Dr Dray. I bought hada labo plumping gel, cerave moisturizing cream and cleanser and even ordered hada labo sunscreen from Japan. All super worth it, my skin is super smooth and my stretch marks arent so "dry" and look smoother. I'm 21, but always had a problem with creams causing irritation so couldn't have a proper routine(didn't know it was the fragrance and other stuff)

    Very good routine for those who can't manage their time. I used to write on a piece of paper everything I had to do in a day. When I finished a task, I would cross it off my list. I've always been like a tornado now I'm more like a breeze...lol I keep doing it but over a longer period of time. Health sometimes forces us to slow down our pace.

    My productive morning starts the evening before-tidying up, putting away the dog’s toys....it also helps that I’m most energetic in the morning. Happy day Dr Dray! ❄️☃️❄️

    I love making lists! Most important to do’s at the top...usually in a sticky note so it can travel with me...makes me feel good when I can check things off...I have started a self care list too, so I don’t forget to exercise, meditate, pray & call friends!

    When I have a lot of material to cover, I spread out my yoga mat behind my reading area ahead of time. This way, I can take a focused break to do a pose or two that will help me stretch, refresh and focus my mind. I used to walk my dog but she’s gone to the Rainbow bridge now, but for those of you who have pets that is a great way to reset, too.

    Great tips - thank you! I find that not only planning my time but TRACKING my time very useful. Laura Vanderkam has great insight about how we think about time and an excellent 15-min increment time tracker - it’s NOT as tedious as it sounds I promise.

    My dad died in August 20 2018. I just wake up fearful and overwhelmed. I still have to take care of mom, 88. Plus I work full time as doctor. I hope these beverages help and I bought the right ones. The choices were even overwhelming. Thanks for the discount.

    Great video! Motivating and spot on realistic advice. When you break it down into "less than an hour" portions it seems totally doable! And yay for putting the phone away! Do you read all of your articles on your computer?? I like print copies to help my eyes and so I can annotate them. But then what to do with all of the paper?!

    You need a line of "stuff" t-shirts ,hats, gloves, coffee mugs, and SUN SCREEN, CLEANSER AND MOISTURIZER !!!Zipper bag to keep it all in for tavel!Please!! Dr. DRAY SWAG!!!
    With that rant... lol...
    Smoothies are my friend for breakfast. I add my oats to them. I am limited on fruit. Citrus not my friend.Frozen berries and bananas,chia seeds,oats,greek yogurt almond milk.stevia. We have diabetes in my family and we went sugar free/low carb a year ago. Even my 13 year old was ok with it. As long as i make treats sometimes.
    I have ALWAYS kept a calander. I have to write it down to remember. I spend 15-20 minutes every morning "planning" before the rest of my day. I work full time, I have a 13 year old son who is in music at school, and a husband with ADD. Yes my husband . So I bullet journal and color coordinate events. Huge time saver. I even write in my morning yoga time. I take a back pack to work of my "stuff". Pack it the night before.HUGE time saver. Lunch ,tea bags, kcup coffee,water bottle, planner, my pen pouch,meds, sunscreens and spf lip balm!!! Saves money too. I don't buy coffee or tea out. So funny my son only knows my pink back pack as my purse.

    The perfect wake-up call to productivity. Getting comfy, using a planner are two tips that I will put back into use. To Do lists and "notes" on my phone are useful to me. Thanks for the discounts ...so appreciated. Hugs .....Sherry

    Enjoyed.
    My morning starts with always making the bed and taking my pup for a walk through the park, even today when the weather is very wintery as it is today.
    Having something ,big and small to look forward to is always an great way to get through a busy week. My husband and I enjoy a glass of wine and pizza every Friday evening, and booking our trip to Singapore for nexted September is getting us through a particularly nasty winter.

    I used a dry erase board and love checking things off. I have a huge one and put little and big things on it to see and motivate myself all I have to do for the day. Also great to add grocery store items on it when i run out so i dont forget. Love your videos!

    It is super helpful for me to find a purpose for getting my day started. I live in the Northeast, and I love the winter because the need to shovel snow gets me up and motivated. Using my body and muscles in a purposeful way really gets me energized. I think I may be the only human who loves shoveling snow!
    For spring/summer, gardening is the thing that gets me moving!
    Also, I used to keep chickens, a flock of 17. Getting out of the house to collect eggs, feed them, clean the coop, etc was an awesome motivator for me. It was enjoyable and rewarding and got my body going every day. I currently live where I cannot have chickens, but I definitely plan to do this again in my future.

    3. Not related to this video but I remember you briefly mentioned (previous video) that you used to use honey. I use honey on yogurt and cottage cheese. Do you not recommend honey? I know you don't eat yogurt or cottage cheese but I am trying so hard to improve my poor eating habits and I am finding some success with this.
    Thanks for all your videos-LOVE them and always learn so much. Just wish I could eat like your mom and you do! Working toward that.

    How do you decide which articles to read for work? Do you look up any particular subject in dermatology. Do you take notes on it like in college? I'd love to start doing this. I remember love reading research articles in education in college.

    Hi dr Dray! My treat during working week after everything is done, everybody is fed etc is to watch your videos! 4 sigmatics are not available in Europe, too bad. However, I discovered an orzo coffee (barley coffee). It tastes like instant coffee and apparently is gaining popularity in Italy too (where the idea comes from). Have a great evening!     Dont remember seeing any info on skin protection in extreme winter weather for those who work outside in bitter wind chills or for those who participate in winter sports. Any tips? Is any sunscreen sufficient? Obviously wearing scarfs, gloves, and masks are crucial as well. Thx.

    I feel like the laziest person after watching your vids... what is your motivation for productivity?
    How do you benefit.. is there a feeling of accomplishment? Satisfaction?
    I finally understand how the mind of highly successful ppl work.
    My creative unstructured philosophical type mind functions so differently. I can go weeks without analyzing my level of productivity.. and yes I’m well employed lol

    I use the app Minimalist, it's fun to cross things off the list. There's also a book called Getting Stuff Done which has a theory to organize to do lists where they don't feel overwhelming and make it fun I use in conjunction with the App.

    I ordered the starter kit and some coffee. I really wanted to try the Golden Latte, but I must avoid black pepper. Do you have a different recipe in your arsenal? One thing that helps me get going faster in the am is to decide what I will wear and what I will eat for breakfast before I go to bed. I know it seems silly, but it works for me.

    Oooh I love all things routine and productivity. Good topic!
    I enjoy having some organic instant coffee handy.
    Something that is very important to my productivity is being decluttered. For some reason it amps up my clarity and focus. I also start most days at 4am and asleep before 9 - enough sleep and a low carb diet helps me greatly.

      Getting to sleep at night and waking up in the morning are also challenges for me. Especially in the winter, all I want to do is stay in bed! My anxiety also makes me want to sleep

    After watching many of your videos - THANKS - what do I do with fragranced "skin care" samples that I most likely will not use? Do I throw them out? Moisturize my feet? Thinking of Lancome...some estee lauder...

    Quick question, if my sunscreen is a moisturizer sunscreen. Elta md daily do I still need to use my regular moisturizer first or will the sunscreen be enough?

    Dr. Dray,
    I trust your judgement without restraint but I would like to know your opinion on a comment I've read by companies pushing their physical sunscreens. "Chemical sunscreens absorb UVA-UVB rays into the skin and transform the rays into heat, which can damage the dermis." Any comments? Thanks

    I like the AM Exercise tip. It really seems to set the day off in a positive direction (my only issue is that I work Monday through Saturday and need to be out of the house by 6:35 AM) I guess a little discipline ever hurt anyone though ;-)

    Would it be possible please to give us any information on Bakuchiol, which seems to be one of the latest ingredients to start appearing in skin care? I've read it's a much less irritating alternative to retinol. Loving your videos X

    Hi! Maybe you could address this before May, in a video? Dreaming of summer lol...
    I am totally getting your vibe now on spf, covering up. I have fair Irish skin, and did not spend endless time in the sun in high school or college, as others I know did. We did not have spf back then! I had a couple bad burns over the years (easy to happen w / pale skin, no spf and no clue lol)....anyway!
    I love swimming outdoors, but sometimes it is between 10a and 2p or 3p...i sometimes stand in water & talk. What is best way to defend myself against sun? Big hat? Ok...sun glasses? I can wear a rash guard from Land's End on top...but sometimes I like some sun! What level spf should I bother with? Just straight zinc on face? It is also sensitive skin, with some oilrness still these days, and I have to worry about break outs still, with wrong products (cystic 😢 which then take time to heal 😢)
    Also, you mentioned not really sweating! That is kind of me lol ..anhydrous, is it called? Is that a problem in the sun? I feel like I cannot stay out in the sun for more than an hour or two without feeling a bit light headed...thank you

      Hi Barbi, I was reading your comment about not sweating. My sister-in-law experiences a problem with her body overheating due to the inability to sweat properly. She mentioned this to her healthcare provider. After testing was performed, it was discovered that she had a mass on her pituitary gland which was causing this issue. She now takes medication in attempts to curb the growth of the mass. Not trying to scare you, but if you have not mentioned this to your doctor, it would be wise to do so (just to make sure nothing serious is going on). Best wishes to you! 🙏😇

      The matcha latte is a good choice. I add the elixers to regular coffee, but the latte to heated almond milk

    Enjoyed....I do not like mushrooms,when I had mild rosacea,I could not eat fungus foods,mushrooms are a fungus food,my skin had a bad allergic reaction to them.

    Dr. Dray, I have been struggling with Perioral Dermatitis, you mentioned in your video the vanicream light lotion but the first ingredient is petrolatum and my doctors told me to avoid that. I bought this cerave Restoraderm lotion is that safe to use on the face? I’m stressed out about it because it only seems to get worse

    One thing that really aids my concentration and energy is eliminating sugar. I enjoy an occasional indulgence, but if I'm intent on being productive, sugar has no place in it. Sugar makes my brain foggy and I feel lethargic.
