Even the most badass engine and blower combo, hp is still less than it could be with twin turbos…
Don’t know if the torque advantage like a roots or screw blown street car is the same for these guys…
I ask myself everyday, why the hell do I still have a roots blower… my answer is, you cannot beat the instant light switch torque!
People who’ve never drove a decent power blower engine will never know the feeling/explanation… lol
    940 hp @ 6700,
    889 lb/ft at 3800 lmao 🤣
It’s impossible to have that much torque at that low of an rpm with any other type of forced induction… it’s a requirement in my 4800 lb car lol

There is a reason most of the promod style cars have went procharger or screw . Don’t think there is a turbo car in Nhra promod . Most promod style classes are not running 1/4 mile so that top end advantage gets nullified a bit .turbo cars look awesome on the dyno though .

@@jkfonyi You will have more power and torque everywhere with a screw blower. One of my friends switched a 6/71 large bore to a whipple 510 (8.3 liters). The old blower was running as fast (and still safe) as it can to produce a bit more than 750 hp.
The new screw blower runs underdrive, very slow, outside of the efficient zone, and still put 1000 hp. The block and internal pieces are not designed to hold more than that, so this is why they dont ''push'' the new screw supercharger to his efficiency zone with more boost.

@@hooyabaaa2 yes , I know that’s why I said what I said . There is a reason most rvw and promod cars run a screw or a procharger . That big horsepower number out the back with a turbo car usually is too late and it makes them a handful to drive .
