@@girllikestrainsandaviation9413 It's just the way it comes in slow and builds up speed again, A London Tube would roll round that corner quick and apply sharp brakes. Fun to see the difference, to be fair there pretty straight stations in London so can go quicker but the ones with tight corners are still fast round bends.
It's especially interesting on the Blue Line because the tunnel from Bowdoin to Maverick was built as a streetcar tunnel, and when it was "converted" to heavy rail subway operations in the 20s the didn't change the loading gauge or track architecture on the line. This means that the trains in 2021 are still traveling on a line meant for much smaller vehicles. The train at the start sneaks into the station because the rear of the train is still pulling through a turnaround loop so tight that it's limited to 5 mph.
Thank You!
I love how the train at the start creeps into the station it's like playing peekaboo :)
I have never noticed that but all the tunnels in Boston have tight turns

Agreed, here you have to go slow at turns. And when arriving too

@Girl Railfanning, "Suffolk Downes" is not spelled with an 'e' in 'Downs'. Its "Suffolk Downs". -John P.
