You're so welcome, Christiane! It's a beautiful pattern and I really enjoyed drawing it and sharing it. I'm happy that the Musterquelle site showed it. 🥰❤
Another reason that I turn so often to your videos on Zentangle Patterns is because you have an extremely astute ability to combine patterns into meaningful and beautiful formats. Not everyone is as talented as you are in that realm.
I agree! It would be wonderful if you would make a video teaching how you choose tangles that work well together. If you have already done that, I missed it. Could you link to it? Choosing tangles that look pretty together is a real challenge.
To be honest, choosing tangles that go well together is also a challenge for me. Eni Oken has a class that is helpful. It’s called Choosing Tangle Patterns and her website is EniOken.com and her classes are very good.
As always, I love the botanical tangles. Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely going to do this as bookmarks. They are so useful and fun to have in my books.
I have been combining neurographic therapy drawing with zentagles. A whole new way of healing n drawing since my husband died 2 yrs ago . I find it relaxing fun very inspiring to create new works of art.
Thanks for this Barbara. Mine look a bit like bananas. LOL I plan to color them with colored pencil. Maybe that will help them look like flowers. I will make them lavender. Oh, I have a heat laminator machine and laminate my book marks. I love that machine and it was not expensive, from Amazon. The tortion Ha, about it coming across as tortilla. I love it.
LOL! It took some practice for mine to look right. Good idea to paint them lavender instead of yellow! 😁 I don’t do a lot of bookmarks but if I do more I’ll consider a laminator. Thanks for watching my video! 🥰❤️
Love doing bookmarks. Thanks for a lovely tutorial. Love all your videos. lol 😂 mine look like bananas until I added the final touches. Can’t add yellow colors. 🍌 😂Thanks Barbara.
I am really impressed that you do not speed up your videos. I enjoy being able to follow you in "real time." Also, it is nice for me that you do not play music. I am hard of hearing and the noise is quite distracting to me. So, thank you for both of those features.
I enjoyed watching this one, Barbara. I make a lot of bookmarks. Sorry I haven't watched many tangling videos since January. I got involved in some crochet and knitting projects and have been absorbed. My fingers are itching to tangle, tho. - Barbara Clark
Thank you so much! 🥰❤️ Lamination will definitely keep it clean and make it last longer. I’m planning to try some plastic bookmark sleeves that I found at Amazon.
Hi Martha. I've used various types of paper. If I'm using watercolor, I try to use 140lb watercolor paper. I recently bought a pack from Amazon Basic that has worked well for me. If you're not going to add watercolor, then a good mixed media paper works well. I make my sketchbooks from Canson XL mixed media 98lb paper. It's not very thick, so I put a clear contact paper over it. I also bought some clear bookmark sleeves from Amazon that work really well. Feel free to email me if you have more questions. notperfectzen@gmail.com
I enjoy your presentations. You mentioned someone you said was good at teaching adding color to tangles. I am sorry, but with my hearing loss I couldn't understand the name and I don't think my closed captions got it correct. Could you please rely and put the name here? Much appreciated! Thank you.
Hi Gayle. That’s my sister’s name & spelled the same way. CZT Romi Marks is a great teacher for using colored pencils. On UA-cam she is the Tangled Yogi: youtube.com/@Tangledyogi333?si=tHhEe0VcwkH979PC
Dear Barbara, thank you so much for drawing my pattern Fluxfan and showing how to do it. I'm happy and honoured 🤗
You're so welcome, Christiane! It's a beautiful pattern and I really enjoyed drawing it and sharing it. I'm happy that the Musterquelle site showed it. 🥰❤
I really liked this, the tetralix so fun, everything "easy-peasy". Your lesson so fun!
Thank you very much, Amy. I'm glad that you enjoyed it! 🥰

Wow, thank you so much! 🥰❤️ The perfectionist in me always worries about the outcome of my tiles. I greatly appreciate your comments.

Yes, it’s very helpful for making your own tiles! 👍🏻 You’re welcome! 😊
Hi Barbara, You are a terrific instructor. I love your videos. And I also LOVE that you do not play music. If I wanted music, I’d play my own!! ❤
Thank you so much, Kristen. I only made one video with music and regretted it. I also prefer to pick my own music. Thanks for watching my channel! 🥰❤️
Thank you, Barbara. I also love botanicals, and I love anything Flux like. It was fun. Very pretty! :)
Thank you, Ingrid. 🥰❤️ I’m glad I found these patterns.

All your favourite things are the same as mine - your colour background is stunning, like a walk along a country lane
Thank you so much! 🥰❤️ I really enjoy the Lindy’s Magicals for backgrounds.
These are so pretty. I am going to give these a go. I love your tutorials, you take it nice and slow so we can follow you. Thankyou 😊

I used to do some basic crochet but never figured out how to knit. I hope you find time for some happy tangling! 🥰

Hi, Barbara. What paper do you use when you make your own tiles or bookmarks, etc.? Thanks so much.

Thanks! Another question. Where did you get your stamp that you show at the end? I think I may need one for the cards I am making and hoping to sell.
I ordered it from Staples for the same reason. I had thought about making cards to sell or to donate.
Thanks again!
What is the black tape on your pens?
It is washi tape and I have it on those pens because they are new. I use the newer pens for my videos because they work better. 😊
