The real trick to winning is watching all four's videos, I got a 76 which could've been higher if I knew what literally any of the files are called. And Hots Whateverguy that was awful I was so confident I had it right lol

SAME!!! I translated all of the others though first to get the letters I needed. Started by thinking of all of the Entry 17 lines I could remember, then figured out which answers, letters, and words lined up with what I already had. I figured out "dark, darker, yet darker" first, then "shadows cutting deeper", then used the letters from both of those to translate "this" from "this next experiment seems...", then counting the letters to confirm my answer. Then I used all the letters I had (plus some good 'ol filling in the blanks) to translate "SANS IS MY SON,, MY BOY..."! Though thinking about it now, I guess it should've been obvious from the beginning that "SANS IS MY SON,," wasn't the right answer, as it had two mailboxes/commas on there. That's not proper grammar! Either way, I can thank my friend tsunamiholmes for teaching me how to translate ciphers at a glance with no guide. She's crazy about that stuff! (and by crazy I mean scarily good at translating ciphers!) Fun fact: She made a whole translation guide for almost all of the known ciphers in Gravity Falls! It's on twitter somewhere, I think. She's really cool!

I sat there desperately trying to remember all of Entry 17 and brute forcing for like 15 minutes, had no idea what the first one said until the clip played

I wasn't keeping track but I got the majority of the questions right. I think I only missed the fun value one, the Spamton parts one, the file one and the snowman ice-e dude one. Not bad... It surprised me because certain things like face.ogg seemed pretty memorable to me but nobody got them.

Man I was not ready to get so many of these right, purely by watching too many playthroughs. When the catch phrase question came up I just went "Oh yeah Susie mentioned it, we can just look at the previous question for how to spell it." With no questions asked. My brain has just heard undertale and deltarune dialogue so many times that I didn't question it. A lot of them I got just because they felt right. The days How to Draw Dragons was over due, and then the tears make gashes on your face one or whatever. I could not remember where the hell that line came from but I knew I'd heard it somewhere.

I knew Jaru would win, my man. Just from the sheer lenght of his videos I assumed he spends way more time recording/researching, makes it easy to memorize stuff. You should hold more of these for UTDR that was a very fun watch!
His videos range from really interesting to interestingly psycho, i HIGHLY recommend watching him. At his best he has very interesting theories, and at his worst its so out there you just gotta see what the hell he's gonna pull out next. Its beautiful

Awesome video, but if you're thinking of doing something like this in the future, i would recommend asking for help from other people to make the questions. You yourself admitted that you ran out of ideas by the end. Don't take this as an insult, no sane person is supported to hold so much UT/DR knowledge on their own. Anyway, I loved it!

I knew Jaru would win, my man. Just from the sheer lenght of his videos I assumed he spends way more time recording/researching, makes it easy to memorize stuff. You should hold more of these for UTDR that was a very fun watch!

Awesome video, but if you're thinking of doing something like this in the future, i would recommend asking for help from other people to make the questions. Played it through myself, got 34 (technically 33 for the elemental pair question, which I got right, but I had them in reversed order), which considering the ones I got wrong were mostly just obscure file names or extra-game stuff (except for Hots Fireguy's name, I'm sorry my son), I think I did pretty good seeing as I haven't refreshed myself on the obscure trivia for a year or two.
