i see bitlocker useful if you have a laptop that you carry with you wherever you go, or a surface tablet... any portable windows device. but for a PC that I only use, I don't see the point. especially because i have to unlock the drives everytime i use the pc.
My issue is that video editing software like DaVinci Resolve requires access to my drives, which means I have to unlock them every time I start the program. This is a bit of a hassle, so I prefer to just leave my drives unlocked. If I didn't use these programs so frequently, I'd probably use Bitlocker as well

Check if your system supports UEFI: GPT requires UEFI boot mode. Check if your motherboard supports it by entering your BIOS/UEFI settings. Use MBR2GPT: Boot into your current Windows. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Run the following command to validate that the drive can be converted: cmd Copy code mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS If validation is successful, convert the partition by running: cmd Copy code mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS Change boot mode: After conversion, restart your computer and go into the BIOS. Change the boot mode from Legacy/CSM to UEFI. This should let you install Windows 10 Ghost Spectre without needing an extra hard drive.
ghost spectre is won in feature and windows orginally ver how ever performance and privacy is windows x lite privilages and windows x lite is more customable and still can be tweaked so much till it only use 50 service with defender on.so windows x lite is better in that but its a manually update and low security cause off you cant use windows update to update security things

@TheArtmann That's fair. I don't think the trade off for the extra layer of security is worth disabling it, so I'm going to stick with that for now
