You can not just smell one perfume after the other. You need to smell on skin after dry down. 15 min apart with coffee grounds next to you for periodic sniffs. Do u even own or know this brand? People do not listen to her false review
Great review. Absolutely spot on. I have Sahraa and its a cheap dud. FDB is the ultimate brand for the gullible. After paying the astronomical price for one of these bottles, clients have no option but to enter immediate cognitive dissonance to avoid facing the truth that they have been scammed. Cheap reformulations need to be called out.
I do have some favorites though,Minuit et Demi, Santal Complet, Cavort, Oud Jaune Intense and Brume du Matin! but I still have to learn about some others that I still have not tried yet. I wish brands did discovery sets of ALLL their fragrances in one package.

Yes they are very expensive indeed that’s why I try to be as thorough as I can in these reviews so that we all can get to know the real tea in definitely oh if they are worth it to be invested on, I will definitely try to get my hands on more Roja I only have a few, but thank you so much for requesting it I’m gonna put it on the list of filming to do 🥰🤗

Hey love! The first time I tried them I put them on my skin so by the time I made the video I already had an idea on how I felt about each one, I spray them on the blotter to get a reminder of what these fragrances are all about. But in order to put them on my skin since they were 10 of them I need to try them throughout different days usually I do 2 to 4 fragrances per day when I’m trying like that I have enough skin and I’m not overwhelmed by the fragrances Doing that on camera would be very difficult, when you’re having to speak about multiple fragrances I don’t really like to spray them all on my skin because the smell can definitely get “cross contaminate it” I’m not sure if that makes sense ? 😀
Santal complete is gorgeous not necessarily the longest lasting fragrance, so if you can get it on a discount it would be great. I feel that it’s a beautiful fragrance to have, also Oud Jaune Intense was absolutely gorgeous. I like Heritage the best. I like Parisian opening awesome but disappears and neither last long in me. I will give them all great I have sensitive skin and all of FDB does not give me skin issues

I LOVE Santal Complet! I just bought a bottle recently. You should also check out Oud Violet Intense. I think imo these are the two easier to wear fragrances in this house and the most feminine leaning 🤗

I have the a few samples and the discovery set as well, and I appreciate their fragrance for the most part but… I agree with you that most are not full bottle worthy. I, too am looking for more feminine leaning type of scent. They are pretty expensive so I have to really like them to invest in them. I own full bottles of Oud Jaune, Oud Rose, Siberian Rose, and Cavort…. Brume de Matin and Solstis are on my wish list. Santal Complet and Minuit Et Demi didn’t quite make it to 100% ❤️for me. Oud jaune intense, is one of my top top favorites. I still don’t have it in my collection, but definitely looking forward to adding it. It’s one of the best of what they have like I said in the video I was very surprised because I thought I was going to like everything they had, since that video a few others have come to the market that are pretty decent, but definitely trying to get that one in my collection 🥰🥰

I got a sample of Oud Orange and from my experience I would not blind buy this fragrance! There was something in it that made me want to get it away from me even on paper.... I wish I knew what it was because the notes are great , the only other one I tried was Santal Complet, it's nice , unisex but I felt I would like it more on a man... I want to try Oud Jaune bc everyone raves about that one. but after my experience with Oud Orange...

I’m working on that, I absolutely love Greenwich Village by Bon number nine I’m working on trying to get a bottle it’s difficult to get it here in Canada, as soon as I do I’ll make a video about it for sure 🥰
Chuckling just a little at the reaction to the Deep, Richly spiced fragrances. You cannot willy nilly step up to FDB fragrances with a young nose. Fine fragrances are like wine, definitely must build up to finding the notes. Smelling Sahraa Oud and Cannibas prior to the softer scents was a mistake. Cannot believe you smell animalics in Aoud Orange Intense. Oud Juane is tropical and so is Santal Complet. FDB fragrances are amazing, I have many of them. The Oud and Incense from Sahraa was lingering in your nose. 😂 I enjoyed this video.
I wanted to love Santal Complet but it had the most bizarre maple syrup drydown?? Is it just my nose or so others get it? If ut werent for that, i would have bought a FB. Im tempted to try it again (decant).

I also am like you i prefer sweeter fragrances also. I also am interested in Santal Complet but the first note is powdery. I have a sensitivity to powdery scents. is it very powdery? i cant stand Gentle Fluidity Gold is that similar to that? I have Guerlain Coconut fizz and love it. is that closer to santal complet? Does Oud Juan intense smell like M.Micallef Ylang in Gold because i own that and it smells dusty and powdery and aged granny and not tropical maybe the pineapple makes it smell good the one from Demi looks intriging but i hear it is more masculine is this masculine smelling? i do love Xerjoff La Capitale

That is the whole point of the video, I want all of us to get super well educated before we invest our hard earned money into these super expensive fragrances, I feel like if we are going to have expensive fragrances they all have to be key players. I mean at that price The bar definitely goes up 😉
FDB, some smell very nice, but I have not come across any FDB with a good performance. Worse still, FDB has poor performance. Disgraceful for such an expensive product!
Have you tried New York Fifth Avenue and Milano? Those seem to have a really good performance. I can’t complain with Minuit et Demi I feel like it’s performing pretty well, however I know that Some of the other ones may not have incredible performance

I did try them on scan prior to filming the video throughout a whole week, it’s hard to test on skin over 10 fragrances in one video. I had a little bit of an idea, I still had higher hopes for some of those fragrances 🥴
I did try it on my skin prior to filming the video I just couldn’t put all 10 fragrances on my skin In one video which is why I’m using the papers, but to get a better idea I had try them to add a time on a daily basis the week before
I love love FDB I have a few from the brand, but definitely wanted to hear your thoughts of a few others that have been on my wishlist before I pull the trigger, as always amazing review thanks !!

You should apply the Fragrance du bois perfumes on your skin and a bit more than 1 small spray of sampler...just a thought

FDB is a super challenging house for me also. The only ones that are full bottle worthy for me so far are Santal Complet and Oud violet intense.

That is the whole point of the video, I want all of us to get super well educated before we invest our hard earned money into these super expensive fragrances, I feel like if we are going to have expensive fragrances they all have to be key players.

FDB, some smell very nice, but I have not come across any FDB with a good performance. Worse still, FDB has poor performance. Disgraceful for such an expensive product!
Have you tried New York Fifth Avenue and Milano? Those seem to have a really good performance. I can’t complain with Minuit et Demi I feel like it’s performing pretty well, however I know that Some of the other ones may not have incredible performance
@@Moraima_Buonafede I've tried 'Oud Noir', 'Amber Intense' and 'Saahra'. Nice in the beginning, but unfortunately a bad performance. I'll give 'Milano' and 'NY5A' a try!

I did try them on scan prior to filming the video throughout a whole week, it’s hard to test on skin over 10 fragrances in one video.

I did try it on my skin prior to filming the video I just couldn’t put all 10 fragrances on my skin In one video which is why I’m using the papers, but to get a better idea I had try them to add a time on a daily basis the week before
I didn't like Saraa on the the test strip, but on the skin, I liked it pretty good. Very spicy. Interesting.

It’s definitely a really good brand and obviously Beamish there is a lot of difference in profiles that are going to cater to different tastes

Nothing is full bottle worthy at $450 +. People are F stupid to say the least. There are thousands of fantastic niche smells for under $150.

It’s my opinion. You can retort with sarcasm but it’s about the product. Oud is an acquired “ taste”. That’s what you are smelling!
I think Oud is very acquired taste. I am starting to like it 😅 it took long time to adopt it.
