Thank you so much for your lessons, Sir Dave. One of my all time favourite..Hope to see you doing lessons by BST " You Made Me So Very Happy". Stay safe always.
Can't believe you got around to this tune! Great interpretation! Always top-shelf work on your acoustic lessons! Thank you. Just dropped a TIP in your jar. As I said in the TIP, would love to hear what you can do with ANDY FAIRWEATHER-LOWES parts on ERIC CLAPTON'S "I WANT A LITTLE GIRL." Making all those extensions sound on one guitar would be a feat!
Obviously Climax had an arranger take the basic song and create some additional excitement by modulating it like crazy = hit. Great job as always Dave.
You guys never disappoint. You pick the best classic somgs you have great tutorials and the vocals are always spot on. You guys have music in your DNA. Im impressed.
I IDG nostalgia LOL. This was GREAT tune back in the day and still is for that matter. Makes you wonder what happen to SONGWRITING , EH??? You sing ok but Emily SINGS!!!! lol
You have a wonderful selection of songs on this channel. I appreciate the fact that you identify each note a put them on the screen. Thank you & have a great St. Patrick's Day. ☘🍀☘🍀
ALWAYS loved this song for as far back as I can remember and what a beautiful selection of chords plus it always brings up the joke with me that it could just as easily be "we toucans share" lol
@@DavesGuitarChannel it's not even close to johnny winter's style..Becks version is hella slow and boring. Johnny's version is fast and upbeat. Thanks anyways!
I think it's just a matter of taste. I like that Jeff Beck's version is groove oriented. Far more up my alley. The Winter version is more about the Guitar wankery. The thing that's awesome is what you find boring, i love, and what i find boring you love, and yet here we are commenting on a song we both dig. All good my friend.
@@DavesGuitarChannel no worries, i get it..johnny's version is a tall order. becks rendition is an easy one. Your lessons are great though, im a subscriber..you got skill for sure.
Best lessons on UA-cam!

"How about we name the band Climax?" "Uh, come again?"
Great song! Your guitar playing and lessons, and Emily's singing is a HOME RUN combination! Thanks! :)
Please let Emily sing more! Are you two going to do a cover of this song? I hope so! :)
great instructor and guitar player!!

It would be very helpful if a simple chord grid were provided. I cant see the fingering so well and those chords are so beautiful
Thank you sir!
We would always put this song last on the set list but sometimes I would accidentally play it WAY too early, which the girls don't like.
Great lesson Dave!
Could you do a lesson on Johnny Winter's "Rock me Baby"
Please and thank you!🙏🎸🙏
I prefer Rock My Plimsoul by Jeff Beck. Pretty sure it's the same song.

Dave, your playing it in the wrong key. Half step lower dude. But nice job. It starts with an A flat M7
Nice lesson for a great song. Emily has a nice voice. She is prettier than you too, Dave.
