Fascinating stuff. It is very interesting to see where photography came from and also how long these cameras remained in production. Thanks for the insight and hope Riley enjoyed the adventure.
Thanks for watching! I love old cameras as they all hold a story of the history of photography and their own unique history. Riley always enjoys going somewhere!
Hi Don, did you change the aperture when you set the camera to infinity? Maybe there is some improvement to find there? I do have a Kodak Brownie Model D that has the opposite problem. It is off focusing close up. Nothing to adjust there. I just have to live with it I guess. Amazing how good the photos are with such an old camera!
Nice camera and photos. Shouldn't Sunny 16 be 1/125 or 1/100 @ f16? I preferred the square dimension of 6x6 though. To me the dream like quality of Holga is ephemeral. With a tripod, a neutral density filter and a remote you can have some creative fun. Moreover, I can shoot Holga in the rain! Enjoyed your episode, thanks for sharing.
@@dongummphotography I thought the big lens in the middle is for taking the picture. what are the little lenses for? Viewing? where do you put your eye to see the viewfinder? It has three lenses?
@ScreamingEagleFTW the viewfinder windows are on the top and right side (as you hold the camera) you don't put your eye up to them but rather look into them with the camera held at chest height in front of you.
I really liked your video a lot, Don. I like your dog too….😊😅!
Thank you and thanks from Riley too!
10:00 Puppy is so cute 😌❤️🐕
Riley has a lot of fans wherever he goes. Thanks for watching!
Hi Don, thanks for these videos. I simply love these cameras!

I left the aperture at f22 throughout. The good thing about the Box Tengor is the focus option that, in my case, helped resolve the issue.

Does anyone know who can clean the internal parts of the viewfinders and kens on these cameras?
Thank you
I do my own work on such things. Kinda depends on where you live as to who does camera repair in your area
how do you compose the shot? Is there a viewfinder? What are the two lenses on top for? Thanks.
@@ScreamingEagleFTW those lenses on top are the viewfinder. One for vertical and one for horizontal shots.

@@dongummphotography how do you look into them if they are on the same side of the camera as the main lens?
@ScreamingEagleFTW there is a viewfinder window on the top and side with a mirror inside that let's you see out the front.
Wien is in Austria 😼
Thanks for watching and for that information!
