The only catch is that Mr. Cheapo here went with Bachmann steam locos, rather than doling money out for a real deal (brass) in the likes of PFM. For example, the Bachmann K4 Pacific (4-6-2) I got is terrible, can't pull 10 box cars up the helix without struggling and slipping. Speaking of the helix, the next video will feature that monstrosity...and my insanity driving its construction.🤣
By-product of sitting at home, surfing the net during the Pandemic with a bit of money leftover that would've otherwise been spent at local joints had it not been for the lockdowns. 😄
I don't like drywall mudding and sanding either, so I get you there.
OMG what a great job you've done.
I'm at a loss of words
Thank you. It's a result of hitting the wall many times until a doorway is found. 🤣

It Comes To Show When Watching These Videos Model Railroading Will Not die.

very nice layout
It is slowly getting there, one track at a time...but the major work is yet to come: the mainline, towns, industries, scenery, etc.
What is the length of each yard? Looking great!
Each yard track can comfortably fit a 9 ft long train, which is about the max lenght of planned sidings on the layout.
When You Do The Track Work DO NOT RUSH IT! WORK SLOWLY ON It!
Wise word that most of us seldom heed...
