Your video helped me immensely since I'm a beginner learning how to deep dive but having problems. I'm finding my coordination is off, especially with kicking the legs while under water. The good news is that I've lost that fear of water (yes, I bath) and have learned to relax, which is the key. Thank you. Please know I'm subscribing to your video, so any tips you can come up with, please let me know.
arkor-Roblox and more if you go to the very bottom then you can go up in a matter of seconds by pushing up & raising both hands straight, dont worry until you start to feel pain in your muscles or are starting to get dark vision (because then you can lose consciousness)
1:26 "You can equalize the pressure by covering your nose and blowing gently" There is another similar technique that I use: yawning but with my mouth closed. Although, this technique isn't as efficient as blowing your nose underwater.
I am tall so I appreciate deep pools. They are few and far between. I'm 6'5", so even with wave poosl in the deep end my head is above the water level!
When I watched ur videos first time I wanted to go diving and it looked a lot of fun.. u really inspired me and now I can dive atleast to 4 meters low easily ☺ I luv ur vids... they make me feel that I wanna go diving all the time!
When u reach the bottom u just have to push the floor with ur feet. That’s it or if u have air in you lungs give it 10 seconds I will be up by not doing anything
When it comes to pressure equalization: Always in advance right before you do the duck-dive! If you do it after the duck-dive the pressure already builds up and this maybe ok if you're diving only in your freetime but if you're doing training regulary you always do the equalization first because in the longterm this methode here can damage your middle-ear. I would always recommend it this way ... even if the pools depth is only 2m. You can practise that with wave training because in the beginning it's always hard to concentrate on several things at the same time.
Awesome video! This is going to help me a lot I have swimming lessons today and I feel that I will be way better that last week thanks so much for this video! :)
jacksonb48 yesssssssss I've always have too! And it sucks haha, I really enjoying diving to the bottom of the pools and gliding along the floor but I can never just relax because I'm terrified of the things grabbing my hair or something stupid idk. I guess it's just an irrational fear.
Well it means that you're not in the right position. If you put your head down and your legs up I dont care how fat you are ( sorry ) you'll sink, you also have to swim towards the bottom, preferably in Breastroke because the kick is more powerful.
I may have thalassophobia, idk. But i was terrified when I swam in a not so deep sea, but the huge coral reefs under me gave me wonder what’s in there lol. So a bright, clear and empty deep pool looks more fascinating and tempting. I just wish i’m strong enough to push myself to the floor i’m so weak lol
I heard about this before and at my first day trying this technique i was able to dive down to 12m, although my maximum before was 3-4m. Now the only problem i have is when I want to dive further. I just cant hold my breath for so long
I try to go to the bottom but when there is 1m of water, going 0.25m hurts like a semi truck running into you. But with 2 meter water, going down 1m doesnt hurt so much why....?
Thanks for your video. I cant wait to try this the next time am going for swimming. But i still have a problem that whenever i try to go deeper under water i just start floating..do u have a video to help me out with that? Thanks alot for this one.
I don't feel that automatic. I mean, I hear a sequence of sounds which are hard to describe, probably the sound of the inner ear pressure being forced released, which makes me feel uncomfortable. I thought that we would need to equalize in both ways, whenever there is a high difference of pressure. I do it in the same way when I am on a plane going up/down that I have to lower/increase the pressure of the inner ear. In both cases (on the plane or diving) I just open the "valve" that connects the nose and the inner ear, at the same time I free the passage from my throat (longs) and nose. Usually doing this I don't need to blow air when closing my nose. Am I missing something? I am kind of learning it by myself in order to free-dive, just gathering all the instructions I can find on youtube.
And how should i get up Quickly or al levels, because i put air into my ears so when i go up the atmospheric pressure gets lower that makes the air expand and damage my ears.Right? Plz answer i am still waiting at the bottom.
My friend done it but never came back up
lel
Stephen Desbonne really
Niamh McNally yes really
i feel sorry for your freind
Sorry man
idk why my body keeps floating and won't let me dive in the bottom.
same like me.hahaa
Rachel Tan you need to dive or do breath stroke or swim regularly and start going down and move
Because of the air in your lungs you have to swim really fast or use a weight belt
waterls tf? lol you just beed to release 80%of oxygen in your body
+Wicked I meant to say that
I can go 4m deep with my head down and 6-7m with my head up.
All of this without hirting my ears.
This video helped me a lot too, thanks!
thats soooooo deeeeepppppp
Karlisle Ambal you should see the worlds biggest pool.
Karlisle Ambal and big pool
That's only 16 1/5 feet! Not deep at all, really...but I'm used to quarry swimming.
that's what he said
5 meter

I know the basics of swimming, but everytime I try going deeper i get scared im gonna drown
Plushie chu ok?
arkor-Roblox and more he is saying just be relaxed don't be afraid of the water it will only kill you if you let it kill you
arkor-Roblox and more if you go to the very bottom then you can go up in a matter of seconds by pushing up & raising both hands straight, dont worry until you start to feel pain in your muscles or are starting to get dark vision (because then you can lose consciousness)
Emi wolfi thanks for the advice, ill try my best!
arkor-Roblox and more not me bc ik how to float back
yes it helped its work 100% on my kidy pool
+tataeako 23 great
Christian Wedoy k
As a lifeguard, the depth of the pool is terrifying, the idea of having to possibly rescue someone from the bottom of that pool haha
1:26 "You can equalize the pressure by covering your nose and blowing gently" There is another similar technique that I use: yawning but with my mouth closed. Although, this technique isn't as efficient as blowing your nose underwater.
Yea you'll probably end up drinking water with your nose by accident
Thanks! I am practicing underwater swim and now it's a bit easy to hold by breathe
Great, I'm glad to help :)
@@Christian_Wedoy I'm trying this but I ma flott..

how we can swim on the top ? please teach me!
Syed Salman same as to the bottom, but in opposite direction XD
Syed Salman by cycling or pedaling
When u reach the bottom u just have to push the floor with ur feet. That’s it or if u have air in you lungs give it 10 seconds I will be up by not doing anything

Wow, this is literally the deepest swimming pool i've ever seen.
We only have the 4m deep in our hometown.
I have 5m pool in my town and at first it was reeeally creepy but after get used to it, it became my favorite hobby lol
I want one in my backyard. So elegant and zenlike even moreso in a pool than open water. Great filming.
I am never, ever, ever doing this but it was fun to watch!!!
Thank you so much u really helped me i can dive to the bottom now ❤️❤️
Awesome video! This is going to help me a lot I have swimming lessons today and I feel that I will be way better that last week thanks so much for this video! :)
Whole family is ready for our trip thanks!
That’s so cool. I never knew you could swim at the bottom of the pool like that
Yessss thanks u now I can go down on my 1ft pool😀
For me it really hurts my eye, why is that? And how can I stop it
+DaRk_v_MeZzA you have to wear a diving mask that also cover the nose.
+Christian Wedoy thanks
I'd prefer with a scuba gear
Oliver use eye-google
Am I the only one who's ears do not hurt? I once swam 8 meters down and felt nothing without using any techniques
Haha lol I don't even know how to swim and I'm watching this
trust an asian to comment this
Your videos are the best!
we now, equalize pressure in your ears by holding your nose and gently blowing and you feel a pop or felling like that.
watching this even though I can't swim😂
Just jump in the deep end it worked for me
I Think Im Worldwide Handsome wtf?
I Think Im Worldwide Handsome Sameu here! 😂
Elgin Vas i learnt it when I was 4 cause I live near sea

Anyone love swimming but have a phobia of pool drains?
jacksonb48 yesssssssss
I've always have too! And it sucks haha, I really enjoying diving to the bottom of the pools and gliding along the floor but I can never just relax because I'm terrified of the things grabbing my hair or something stupid idk. I guess it's just an irrational fear.
jacksonb48 i do, ever since I was 3 years old

jacksonb48 same any advise???
SAME
I tried it and it did worked. Thanks!
you make it look so easy!
Awesome, gonna test it next time at the waterpark
Thanks cant wait to do this next weekend
Whenever I try to go down, I get suddenly pushed upwards...
Is it because of body fat level?
Well it means that you're not in the right position. If you put your head down and your legs up I dont care how fat you are ( sorry ) you'll sink, you also have to swim towards the bottom, preferably in Breastroke because the kick is more powerful.
@Siddhant Jhaveri Sorry mate but yes you can and will sink in a pool if you don't know how to swim or stay afloat
Thanks, I’m going to kalahari waterpark this Saturday I will use the advice thank you i never knew how to do this
Thank you for all of this I really want to be a mermaid when I grow up and your swimming skills are amazing I'll check more of your videos
+Mermaid Cheyenne thanks. I'm glad you like them
Christian Wedoy np im working my way up as a professional mermaid so these are very useful tips :D
Wow i want the pool
Dant that a freaking big pool!
Man you really helped thanks and keep it up
Another way I relax before I dive down is to just put in my snorkel and float around for a bit, without kicking or paddling. It's really relaxing.
I love to swim and this is one of the things I like to do in a swimming pool.
thats a dope pool, i hope a pool like that exists here
Superb..I wish I could learn swimming from you.
My local pool used to be around 5 mitres deep designed for high diving. I spent many a time going to the bottom.
Helped me lots THX! :D
dont you have to equalize when you come up from the deeps?
I'm going swimming soon so excited
Same here!
Me:
**searches how to get out of the pool**
Him:
**posts how to get to the bottom of the pool**
RIP
tank you for the tip
Great video!
Nice pool. I love to swim but would not go to the bottom without first learning how to hold my breath for more than 2 minutes under water.
Very helpful thank you.

F&F A 12m pool? Does it even exist? 5m is already insanely deep
You mean 12 ft
u r a legend of swimming {*.*}
I try to go to the bottom but when there is 1m of water, going 0.25m hurts like a semi truck running into you.
But with 2 meter water, going down 1m doesnt hurt so much why....?

+Christian Wedoy, how to equalize when going up? I think I can equalize properly when going down, but I still fill kind of weird when going up.
Eduardo Reis you don't have to. it's automatic when you go up
I don't feel that automatic. I mean, I hear a sequence of sounds which are hard to describe, probably the sound of the inner ear pressure being forced released, which makes me feel uncomfortable. I thought that we would need to equalize in both ways, whenever there is a high difference of pressure. That can happen when you have a cold, or if your ears are tight
i only can swim in 5 feet pool!!😂
me too
Valeria Hernandez I can swim to the bottom of a 6 foot pool but as soon as I reach the bottom I need to come up for air right away
Valeria Hernandez I'm 9 and I can swim in any pool. but I hate the ocean!
I'm 11 and I can lay down in the bottom of my 10 ft pool
Valeria Hernandez im fucking 16 and dont know how to swim
More tips on swimming please
If you run low on air, how many seconds to reach surface? And do you kick, pushing arms down to the side???
Damn, who knew that the bottom of the pool would be so eerie?
I love deep pools
It's so calm
It feels calm and not calm at the same time! Its a really weird feeling
superb bro
Thx for telling us
thanks good tutorial very helpful
thanks for the feedback
Thank you
Well don bro
I dont understand the blow thing, i cant any bubbles coming out of u?
Should release from the ears. You hold your nose so when you try to blow out of it your ears will try to realise pressure.
Nice! I'll try it
+Hermione Granger great
Amazing
do you just look up and breathstroke to go back up? or should I flutter kick to go back up quicker?
I once dive just to look for my friend's coin. Actually, she test me and I got it
When I equalise, are my ears supposed to get a popping feeling, or should I feel nothing but still hold my nose and very gently blow? Thanks
Thank you I’ll try it
It is not difficult to reach bottom of the pool , it is difficult to come back from there.
Abhijeet Gupta its easy to come up
Abhijeet Gupta it's easy to go up..just touch the bottom with both feet squat down with your arms up and push your legs..you'll go up like a rocket
I am wondering who are the people with those stupid comments
You dont know to swim
U could come up in one kick
Abhijeet Gupta coming back is the easiest all u have to do is kick the floor with ur feet
And how should i get up
Quickly or al levels, because i put air into my ears so when i go up the atmospheric pressure gets lower that makes the air expand and damage my ears.Right?
Plz answer i am still waiting at the bottom.
