Best ls swap vid I’ve seen so far. Thank you so much for having the patience and caring enough to help the community out with similar projects. Looking forward to more!
i am currently doing the exact same thing to my 78 . i am still getting things together . can you tell me the part # to the motor mounts you used. i bought same headers. ? i am glad your doing this model so i can learn as you do.
I’ve been sitting on a 79 Z wondering whether or not to drop a used 5.3 ls in or go with old iron block. You have made my decision easier. Is there a specific year 5.3 or vehicle to get it out of that you would recommend? I’ve read that some years over others are no bueno.
In my 89 suburban I have got the Holley Sniper and their full ignition system. I’ve already updated to a 4l60e and I have an atomic trans controller. Also my gauges have already been updated from analog cable driven to new vintage USA wire based. This whole setup has worked great but my 355 engine took a dump and now I’m trying to figure out if I should go back with a Blueprint 383 which has a nice flat torque curve and no new wiring and or possibly a LS swap. What are your thoughts?
good stuff man, enjoying your content. Small suggestion would be to write a basic script of what you want to cover, what you want to talk about, and stick to it. You kinda ramble at times on stuff that's not exactly relevant to the build
I actually forgot to mention it in this video. I mocked it up after I did the crossmember and it's way too long. It's also out of an 81 trans am that had a BOP TH400 so the slip yoke wouldn't work either.
Bro I have learned so much from you..I just want to say Thanks, wish you were closer, I would have had you do it for me.. keep up the good work
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching.
Your videos and advice helped me get my LS/T56 swapped 71 Camaro running.
Thanks
Awesome!
Your gonna have the cut the transmission crosmember mount and put it upside down
These videos are great, I am gathering the courage and making a parts list so that I can LS swap my 1977 Chevy Nova from an In-Line 6. Great job!!!
Bro those random mom jokes catch me off guard every time, but they have me rolling lol
😂
Nah fr ! 😂😂😂
I find them offensive! 😠
Great video bro! Good details and helpful advice ! Once I do my LS swap I’m coming here !
New subscriber to your channel like the camaro project. Keep up the great work shout out to you from Mexico 🇲🇽 buddy
I honestly love your videos bro, doing a 77 c10 right now. Definitely a booster “you can do it” kinda guy
Its easier than you'd think. Just have to get out there and do it. Thanks for watching.
Awesome I’m starting on my 1980Z28 soon thanks for sharing

Yeaah Anthony my dude
Did the power steering pump clear? Looked real tight
It's talked about in the videos after. I didn't realize it until after this part
Glad to see the engine in!
THANK YOU!! Lol I needed the first 6 minutes of the video the most 🤣

@@krustyclassicsgarage i saw the video , no info on where you got them unless amazon special
@jimmyfredodom5073 it's a couple videos back under "70-81 Camaro LS swap parts" they're just cheap Amazon sliders
Thanks dude. I appreciate it. I figured it out. I thought you said the speed engineering headers required there on motors mounts.
No Diddy but I love your videos you should work for GM
Lmao, I'm gonna start saying that
Get to the choppa…. Ow my back ok 😂😂
But really tho, my back 😭
Do you not have super glue for that cut also great video
Well it was fine before I started hitting it on everything
@@krustyclassicsgarage I always use super glue stops the bleeding

What are your thoughts?
Did your stock truck oil pan clear your subframe or is that a car pan?
What headers did you use on this build?
What pan and headers are you using? I'm going to do the same swap in my 81
If I go with a 4l60e will the bell housing be an issue upon instal?

How's the driveshaft looking as far as fitment? looks like a fun time lol

@@krustyclassicsgarage 1995 2 door blazer fits the f body ls swap perfectly. 2 door only!
Thank you!!
Gotta go extended clip every time. It’s only right😂
gotta keep it on extendo clip always 😆
Tickle Stick Engaged 😂
😆
Extendo clip so you can reach the ops lol
So you can get em all 😆
Vintage air is expensive 😢
No, I hate intro’s. Completely unnecessary and a waste of viewers time.
Take out the time tested small block Chevy the simplest engine ever made and spent lots of money for nothing
