Thank you so much for adding voice to your videos! I have followed you for years and purchased your welding class and it transformed my aluminum welding skills to new heights! Love the added voice though very much! You are an excellent teacher.😊👍
The commentary is great because it clarifies things so well, but it’s odd because we all got so used to you not speaking that it’s almost like a different channel now. You were like the Stig of welding haha. It’s all good either way brother!
As an aircraft mechanic, for my brake I have the fingers still somewhat sharp but have pre-bent different thickness pieces of aluminum that fit over the fingers to give the proper bend radius for a given thickness of material. That way you can still bend thin sheet relatively tight but thicker material with the thicker cover piece can be a larger bend.
This was awesome just as all of your other videos. The fact that there is commentary in addition to the satisfaction of watching your craftsmanship, was a big bonus. Love that addition. Hopefully it continues in videos where you see fit. 👌Thank you!
I’m still tripping out over hearing you talk on your videos. For so long I’ve wondered who the masked man was? The added information and explanation is very helpful. I’ve always loved your channel, and I admire your talent. Keep up the great work!
He speaks! I missed that change, really enjoyed your silent movies but the commentary is a great addition and helps with the learning! Thank you as always for your generous sharing.
You're talking now! I've been "away" from your channel for a while, so maybe it's not new. I appreciate the narration, I think videos like these gain a lot from you explaining as you go.
Aaron, it is amazing how much knowledge you have shared in all your videos. I am even more stoked that you are explaining (narrating) what and why you are doing certain steps in the process. I personally feel speaking your thoughts has a better impact on learning, but that might just be me. Keep the tungsten glowing and the dimes a stackin.
Just now noticed you've added commentary to these. I've always enjoyed your videos, but your comments added a lot, and I finally subscribed. Thank you! Great work....
So, this comment is 100% unsolicited. The tig button is an excellent investment. I've had it now for maybe 4 yrs and it helps make tig enjoyable by making it easier to position yourself. Went through a few pedals, each smaller than the previous one, tried the various remotes but the button rocks. I coupled it with my 200 Dynasty DX, and whenever I get something new in the next year, the button will be moving over, or I'll get another which is more likely.
A 63 years old I live in Alaska. You sir are one of the top machinist welders I've ever seen and many of my friends are welders and machinist much respect to you I'm thinking about buying a portable welder I wonder if you had suggestions for a good inexpensive all-purpose welder Lazer welder
Those things take a ton of tedious work, just like making headers. I can understand why you don’t like making them anymore. Especially when you can buy a mass produced intake and port it. Although that can suck too. Either way, there is a reason they are so expensive. Thanks for the tips. 👍🏻
Great video! The green flame looked like 5356 filler. Of course if this was a real and complete intake some guys might have a concern with hot cracking in this application and this intake is likely to see service temps over 150F. So maybe a filler with less than 3% magnesium could be the weapon of choice if this was a functional part….
thanks for your videos always great, better with the voice over. Maybe I can shear something. Cutting grooves or edging try one of the hand or palm routers for woodwork, can get various tungsten bits with bearing guides, the wood ones work perfectly on ally.
Sounds like a dynasty by Miller just a guess never used one, first time seeing your videos nice job and I’ve been TIG welding right at 40 years. Back in the early 80’s we had to put tick alum. on fire bricks preheat and start welding I love new inverter technology
Yep I learned on a Miller Syncrowave with the footswitch back in 1995..I remember it being so awesome when i learned to TIG weld aluminum after being a stainless steel welder for years..good stuff here !@@MikeYurbasovich
New sub. Presentation and editing spot on. Content interesting, informative and concise. I think it would add value if you had added your knowledge/experience - reasons of different AC frequency. Kind regards Anders Sweden Retired mechanical engineer and instructor automotive industry
WELL plenty of american v8s of the older type like chevy smallblock and big block the intake ports are very close the smallblock is pretty much spaced like you did on that plate but its awesome to see how you'd do it
Timely video. Working on a intake myself at the moment. What kind of/size torch are you using? I'm considering picking up a water cooled torch. Don't think my ck17 can really handle the amperages I need to tie into the 1/2 baseplates.
Wait wait wait hold up the man can speak!!!? This is like finding out the stuff was Schumacher the whole time! Woah!😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 P.S and he uses high frequency AS WELL! Woah what is this world coming to lol
May I work for you with you ECT for FREE just to learn please I can Mig weld and can repair or fix anything cars ... House electrician etc etc... I am amazed by your work😢
Thanks everyone for the positive feedback

Really loving having the extra commentary to your videos. For me the why is just as important as the how. Thanks
Same here
Adding just the slightest narration has completely transformed your free videos. Thank you Aaron 👍👍😎👍👍

Really enjoying your spoken descriptions of things after all these years of the non-verbal descriptions (that were also great)!
There was a ton of great info before, but the new voiceovers definitely pack even more great information. Thanks.

It’s nice to finally hear you. Over the years I have become a much better aluminum welder because of you.
Love your new style of videos where you share tips and ideas.
Love it!
He speaks! I missed that change, really enjoyed your silent movies but the commentary is a great addition and helps with the learning! Thank you as always for your generous sharing.
The noise at the end when you ground that inside weld flat was hard to take though, for someone who needs dentists a lot 😂
Thanks for always sharing the secrete sauce!! You spend a lot of time and resources sharing the knowledge, for real. Thank you!
He speaks! Lol. Nice hearing a voice explain things. In ten years we’ll get to see your face, lol. 👍
My personal belief is that Aaron has narrated every one of his videos, but forgot to add the voice over before uploading them... for years.
You're talking now!
I've been "away" from your channel for a while, so maybe it's not new. I appreciate the narration, I think videos like these gain a lot from you explaining as you go.
I weld on Hovercraft and your videos have helped me along the way. Now with voice I am loving the videos all the more. Thank you!

He speaks!! Been a member of the site and subscribed to the channel for a while now. This is the first time I’ve heard your voice.😂😂😂
I'd be interested in a video on your background on how you got into welding and why you got so good with aluminum of all things
First time we’ve ever heard you talk. I like it!
Absolute artistry, like all of your amazing creations. Thank you so much for your informative and oh-so helpful videos.

I cannot stop watching you work😮
You make it look easy. Beautiful welds !
He speaks!😃
Excellent video and beautiful job👍

Great job . Thanks Aaron . These longer videos are really nice , and you explain the situations well . :)
All the verbal tips are great.
Really enjoy the voice over man keep it up
like how you pointed out the inside and outside corner joints have to make penetrate to each other to seal.
Appreciate the voice over.
Thank the stars you started talking 🎉🎉
Wow man it's inspiring to watch you work you make it look easy ;)

Wow This guy can talk? 😂
Love your sounds bro, keep it up in the next video.
Twofer Tuesday! Yeah!

Inverters are definitely way nicer. I learned on a linde, which was a sweet machine, but these new machines are way better.

Very, very informative video. Thank you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ true legend. Maybe You post video how to weld can cut in half 😅 i saw post about this on forums 🙃
Brilliant!
Loving the tips and tricks. What grade aliminium would You preffer to build full intake manifold from.

IT have voice ! 😁
Nice i like it 😊
Ok, at 2:04 I want to know how you could see both the filler rod and tungsten at the joint! Welding by feel?
@benz-share9058
Great question, I'll include this topic in an upcoming video. Probably another "Viewers comments/questions" video.
Thanks
you can talk?! Great! love it
nice. 👍
What’s your weld table made of ? Stainless or aluminum? My steel weld table burns the crap out of aluminum where it grounds every time
did you ever tryed "Aluminium- Schleifföl" from the brand Pferd?
what setting do u use for 3mm sheet and what tungsten do you use?
What is the best way to weld anodized pipe
may i know what types of aluminium can do this?which categories
OH cool, you talk now!
For anyone curious, the reason it turned out so beautiful is because of the exact Frequency (Hz) he used on each step.
jk :)
Wait wait wait hold up the man can speak!!!?
This is like finding out the stuff was Schumacher the whole time!
Woah!😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
P.S and he uses high frequency AS WELL! Woah what is this world coming to lol

Why did you stop making the intake elbows? Just not selling or were you that sick of the same ole same ole?
Monotony
It does the same with 1/4 stainless😂
