I went to see wicked on Broadway a few months ago in hopes to see Mary Kate Morrissey… turns out she was golfing which meant Lissa went on as her standby. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was absolutely blown away by her performance!! She was 100% the whole time and was the perfect elphaba!
I saw her a week ago, and she has to be my favorite Elphaba. I listened to the OG cast for years before seeing Wicked live for the first time, and Lissa was performing when I went to see it. She is just absolutely incredible in her performance, and I loved her so much. Lissa deGuzman was made for this role.
Agree 100%. She blows everyone out of the water. I listen to the UA-cam videos of her instead of the OG cast. Saw her in Orlando in February and going to see her in Tampa next weekend. Loved her so much that we bought tickets for Tampa almost immediately after our first show.

I saw her 11/02/24 and I was in awe! 3rd row looking up my husband said my jaw had dropped a few times. 😂 Personally I think she’s even better than Idina Menzel. Her chemistry with the cast was fantastic, her acting….singing… everything was absolutely amazing!! She’s certainly the best Elphaba.
I saw the tour on 10-5-22 with her as Elphaba. She was INCREDIBLE!!!💚💚💚💚 EDIT: If it's not an inconvenience, could I have the full boot please? Thank you!
She's definitely very strong but the flip to head voice in the last "no good DEED, will I DO" takes the power out of the ending for me. She does the same thing in Defying Gravity ("So if you care to find ME") too.
I actually really like the flips into head voice. It adds more to the buildup to the end of the song and it sounds really eerie and unsettling for me which I love for this song! Also it makes me feel less bad about singing this song partly in my head voice because I haven’t found my mix yet 😅
The belting of “Fiyero” is the absolute best I’ve heard from any iteration of Elphaba. Absolutely phenomenal.
Goddamn, the way she carried that note on Fiyero's name, you can feel Elphaba's anguish. No one can compare to Lissa.

the flip on "do" just to belt and riff that last "again?" Iconic. Perfect. No Notes.
Automatic induction to Elphaba hall of fame
I saw this on Sunday in Chicago and this actress's singing is a masterpiece.

I agree 100%. She is the best Elphaba I’ve ever seen.
one of my fav No Good Deed performances !!!
She’s fab. You can definitely tell she’s seen a lot of other women perform this song and knows exactly what she want to do with it.

What day was this?
Best Elphaba
Elphaba´s entrace is different than than the general ones. She entered running instead of using the lift with the table for the book.
This is the standard entrance for the touring production :)
This is the touring production, and since some theatres don't have trapdoors like the Gershwin Theatre does, Elphaba runs onstage instead.
Do you have the full show?
What did you use to record this?
Also do you have a video of her wizard and I?
YAY LISSA!!!

@TheBootlegLoft the golden age of wicked was definitely 2003-2010 ish, but it’s still stellar.

I highly disagree
