S4 - Katana vs Longsword - HEMA Mixed Weapon Sparring

In this one, I finally get to wield a sparring-safe Katana. I faced off against the longsword to really get a test of how well I could handle such a weapon. All in all, it was tremendous fun and extremely light weight with quick swings. I would need some time to get comfortable with it, but could enjoy using one of them more often.

The guard of the katana is small compared to a longsword. Very prone to handsnipe but somehow this guy made it work. Good stuff

@@Buyethernet Thanks! It's a weapon I used a little during polypro back in the day, but I've not had any chances before this to use a sparring safe steel one. The hands were definitely vulnerable!
