UA-cam music is superior solely for two reasons: - you can easily access music that hasn't been uploaded to normal streaming - youtube premium also works for regular youtube, thus you get a sort of 2 in 1 packages for only like $12/mo
@finn: I listened to Spotify one day last year so my list was just a single song by several people… it was no indication of what I really hear, but it did post a few fishbone and Melvins stuff. I mainly listen to songs from my iTunes. ✌🏼🤘🏽
Another woman watching your videos 🙋♀️ but my top 5 was all over the place. Metalcore, pop rock, nu metal, Japanese pop, and somehow TSwift made my list despite only listening to 3 of her songs 😂 my big question is how you people can listen to over 30k mins of music. I have too many meetings to get that much listening time in during the week.
My genres were chill breakcore, melodic metalcore, technical deathmetal, sludge metal, deathcore, with Mastodon as #1 artist for the 4th year in a row. Now stop asking, you've been begging me to tell u for hours
My favorite band is Arctic Monkeys and I was in the top 2% of listeners and it said that I listen to them 8x more than most people 🙌🏻 honestly proud lol Edit: this is for YT music, I don’t really listen to Spotify except for podcasts because it constantly plays songs I don’t want to listen to and it has a skip limit. I like to look up certain songs, even if I play a whole playlist I would skip too many each time. My Spotify Wrapped isn’t accurate at all, it shows 4 artists that I barely listen to in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th spots. Spotify says I only listen to pop and rap (despite 4 out of 5 songs on my top 5 songs being Arctic Monkeys, which have pop elements but they’re clearly a rock band) and YT music says I mostly listen to independent music, rock, and heavy metal. YT music is way more accurate, at least for me.
19:19 My coworker and I were talking about our favorite bands the other day and Volbeat was in his top three. I was surprised and said I never heard their music, so he suggested where to start, but I still haven't gave them a listen. My top 5 were Mayday Parade, All Time Low, A Day to Remember, Sleeping with Sirens, and Pierce the Veil. My top genre though? Dubstep. Make it make sense 😂
I think you have the Spotify to PlayStation - Apple Music to Xbox backwards. Apple has Dolby Atmos. This is just that weird Xbox 360 era where Spotify has the dominance but once everyone figures out which is fundamentally better, it will pivot
Yeah, Apple Music UX is infinitely better than Spotify imo, it has a bigger catalog and not to mention the better sound quality which is pretty noticeable, no need to be an "audiophile" to tell the difference.

finn sarcastically praising women's musical tastes is hilarious 😂
My name is also Alex and I also really enjoy Volbeat. This is the most personally attacked that I've ever felt by one of your videos.
One of 4 women that watch your videos is an industrial techno dj from Eastern Europe. I grew up with new metal, gothic rock, industrial, black metal, dark ambient and all that stuff tho, I come here for the sentiment :)
I love how to diagnosed an old guy for low test with his spotify wrapped😂
Shoutout to all the parents who’s wrapped was filled with kids music 😅
UA-cam music is superior solely for two reasons:
- you can easily access music that hasn't been uploaded to normal streaming
- youtube premium also works for regular youtube, thus you get a sort of 2 in 1 packages for only like $12/mo
@finn: I listened to Spotify one day last year so my list was just a single song by several people… it was no indication of what I really hear, but it did post a few fishbone and Melvins stuff. I mainly listen to songs from my iTunes. ✌🏼🤘🏽
Special condolonces to all the fellow guitar teachers out there, whom Spotify thinks you're obsessed with AC/DC and White Stripes. 🥲
Weird Al is the opposite of normal music, especially as your number two artist
shoutout to that dude that had The Dear Hunter. Absolutely amazing band.
My top 5 were
1.Hollywood undead
2.Guiccihighwaters
3.limp bizkit
4. Kim Dracula
5.Issues
How’s it looking Finn ?
So this is the Kelsey Metro Station was talking about! I’d swim the ocean for Kelsey for sure !
7:56 "Pinch Pennies" Pretty wild take there considering UA-cam music is more than Spotify.
Mine was
1.Katatonia
2.Dropout Kings
3.Avatar
4. Nik Nocturnal
5. Veil of Maya
Yay glad to see Nik in a top 5
My favorite band is Arctic Monkeys and I was in the top 2% of listeners and it said that I listen to them 8x more than most people 🙌🏻 honestly proud lol
Edit: this is for YT music, I don’t really listen to Spotify except for podcasts because it constantly plays songs I don’t want to listen to and it has a skip limit.
4:20 is "Dance with the dead", they're synthwave and really good.
19:19 My coworker and I were talking about our favorite bands the other day and Volbeat was in his top three. I was surprised and said I never heard their music, so he suggested where to start, but I still haven't gave them a listen. I just don't wanna become one of those guys... that guy who has actually heard a Volbeat song, y'know?
Damn, i had DGD as my top artist for a 3rd year in a row. I should be more like Kelsey.
The punk dad description is so accurate.
My top 5 were Mayday Parade, All Time Low, A Day to Remember, Sleeping with Sirens, and Pierce the Veil. My top genre though? Dubstep. Make it make sense 😂
The dude who had Brand New at the bottom of his top 5 combo breakered themselves super hard.
The internet was made specifically for this moment
Yo i absolutely loves volbeat but my top 5 would be
1. Disturbed
2. Slipknot
3. Skillet
4. Mushroomhead
5. Breaking Benjamin
It’s Samurai Jack with the Glickitty Glack
I've never used Spotify
same, tried it and seen, that half of my yt library is not even there
Damn, was hopping he saw mine.

Can you please do a second round of this?
Blue collar alternative guys are a living breed here in the rural regions of North Texas. Lots of them (very much into I Prevail and those type of bands)
I live in rural north Texas and I haven’t found any of those guys yet lol
