    You can put stiffer springs on the clutches so the clutch would grip at higher rpm for better acceleration from standstill

      This can be a free mod by also taking weight out of each shoe. Cut the ends off or drill some holes and tighten the stock springs. Just make sure they are the same weight with a gram scale.
      Fluids make a small difference as well. Instead of atf try 0w30ND. It has to be a non detergent.

      I took my springs out of the clutch because it was not engaging because of compression

    I have multiple tomos mopeds, one I use for wheelies which I have tuned a bit and one for driving to school, what you Said about weight is very true but If you have a bit more power than stock it makes it way easier, but I still run 50cc on my stuntbike and I can still wheelie it like crazy, so it’s not all power people, just practice

    I've made 7000km with a stock bottom end and a 70cc, a 70cc isn't pushing that much to break stuff unless you rectify the head and work on the crankcase, it's safer to go with a stronger crankshaft but haven't had any problems yet so

    • @TwoStrokeJ
      @TwoStrokeJ  2 роки тому +1

      Same man! And I agree if you run a mild setup it should be good

    • @mikesweet5848

      In a different scenario if the bike is on country roads running wide open for miles, it will have a meltdown. Big side of the con rod will seize (specifically on a puch e50).
      I wouldn't install a 70cc for a customer without the crank, but for myself I literally did it today. I know the engine will be fine all fall and winter.

    Your bike is very badly tuned for a 70 cc. My 70cc takes off way faster. Its a scooter, but i dont think that makes much of a difference.

      Well that’s all clutch tuning and mine is completely stock. I need to adjust some stuff to allow it to rev higher and take off faster
