- We have two 2017 Subaru STI vehicles to compare the stock exhaust over the STI Performance system. We did a test from the exterior as well as in the vehicle. We let both cars warm up to the proper temperatures before testing each system.

I'm guessing you guys aren't breaking in the car?
Daribbler LOL
first thing i looked for was the mileage lol
siiiiick. i'm glad i opted for the perf exhaust on my order ;)
was it worth it?
Hey man could you please do a walk around of the black limited one without a spoiler??? Totally just ordered the same one
is the WRX STI 2016 come with SPT exhaust or this is an extra option? Thank you
the sti performance exhaust is an extra option (when factory ordering)
Not a fair comparison you drive stock in "I" mode and then performance you drive in S mode
Waiting on a STI base with sport exhaust. Glad I ordered it because that video is most helpful.
Is it work getting the STI performance exhaust on the WRX when ordering, or get another aftermarket? It sounds MUCH deeper with the STI exhaust, which is good. How about drone, and sound volume? How would this compare to the Invidia Q300? Just wondering in case I do get a new WRX this year.
I am in love with that performance exhaust
Minty Subi man! Great work on the video, subbed!! 👍🏻👌🏻
the black one with the sti performance exhaust, was it with the resonator or was the resonator deleted....?
Well done. Thank you.
As an STI owner the car is slightly louder in S mode compared to I mode, not at idle but when you are accelerating. Drive for an entire day no music playing in I then switch to S you will hear it. I did my entire break in period in I mode then switched to S mode for daily driving so I can confirm this. However the exhaust tone will still be entirely different than the STI performance. But whats the point when most of us are rebuilding the engine after warranty anyways and scrapping the OEM exhaust.
Rebuilding the engine after warranty... why that would be necessary if your not doing mods? Sounds like your saying the motor is shot after the 3/36 is over? I sure hope that isn't the case. Please clarify... new 2017 WRX STI owner here. Thanks.
