My favourite show Meta Runner was made with motion capture as the animation studio's first ever project to keep the budget in-check, and it works really well for natural movements
But what software do you use for motion capturing? How are the background scenes built? Do you record yourself separately with the motion capture on a green screen and then add the background assets after?
But what software do you use for motion capturing? THERE ARE MANY, you can do LIVE mocap in games like VRChat, or programs like Warudo, or LIV, OR you can record it in programs like VMC or Blender with plugins and extrapolate from there
@@Qyuwi thanks for the detailed reply! I had no idea VRChat offered that much customization. A lot of the programs here I haven't heard about, so thanks again for the list 🙏 I'll be sure to look into them. There are many more methods than I assumed.
I think Qyuwi made a lot of good points here 🤔
Her insight is so inspirational 🧐
She’s so informative and well-spoken 😄
Qyuwi has such a way with words
Keyframe is honestly worth the effort, you get to put so much feeling into the smallest of movements
love the goofy sounds

I think motion capture was used in Polar Express if I remember correctly
So keyframing animation is about to get whole lot faster thanks to a software called cascadeur, it uses a physic base AI to help with interpolation
Informative and cute ❤
Great points qyu.
2:00 Remember when Foodfight tried to mix that kind of animation with mocap? Not a great mix.

I think both of them would like a hamburger
