- This Divider exploit/glitch happens when because of the stasis when it divides combined with the damage over time of the plasma cutter when upgraded. It will continue to spew out items as long as the torso is kept in stasis, but be careful too many might crash the game. For reference this video by FP Good Game ( • Dead Space Remake Full... ) at 18:40 will show you where it is in the chapter.
!!EDIT!! burn upgraded needed for the constant damage to make the glitch work properly.

The way you do it is so confusing. It’s so much easier to get the knock down upgrade and fire upgrade on the plasma cutter. Knock it down and as it’s standing up shoot it’s left leg off and stasis the falling body. You do so many random things in this clip that can’t be replicated.
It’s a bit annoying if you don’t have the weighted blade tho because the upgrade is in the room behind this enemy
@@thatonechipguy7182 there are more afterwards but I guess you do have a point. You could do it like this for the first divider.

Y’all need to do the side quest to find out the identity of the hunter then you get a protype stasis that burns they skin off the enemies you need that upgade for it to properly work

As of April 29th, this glitch still works! It took a few tries, but eventually I got it!

having trouble doing it on PS5, i knock it down, rip its leg off, stasis as it hits the floor, and it gives out a few items at a slow pace, and then even if i keep stasising it, it stops, ive used the plasma cutter for this with both weighted blades and fire upgrades, got any advice?
Still works for PS5 as of patch 1.5

If my game crashes from testing to see the maximum amount I can do on IMPOSSIBLE, will it just go back to my save? Or since it crashes will it act like a death? Scared to try it
A crash isn’t a death. Besides, this is patched I’m sure.

No sadly, but if you kill it and don't get this to happen just reload the save, the one you see in this video is directly after a save station
So......if I'm seeing this correctly, I need to Stasis it once it's in the air. After that, i need to keep shooting it while keeping it in a stasis state. Is this right?
Can this be done in impossible mode or do I need a fully upgraded stasis?
I mean you don’t need a fully upgraded stasis mine wasn’t at the time, it was my first run and on impossible.
Any specific weapon you need to use or just kill a divided that has been stasis frozen?
From what I've seen absolutely use plasma cutter with the damage over time upgrade, but other than I've seen stomping work, so i'd say the secondary doesn't matter but the force gun is very good at getting this specific job done!

@@thirteen_candles9806 I got it to work after a handful of tries, not endlessly spawning rewards but for like 10 seconds. Had trouble keeping the divider body in stasis on the ground while the little squid guys were attacking me. Still - pretty good!

Does this still work if the body is in stasis but the attacking moving parts are dead?
It seemingly has to be put in stasis as it's falling and before the parts break off, I've used my own video as a tutorial to get it to work the other times and there we failures but I always got it to work

Since I did it last there hasn't been an update, it's a little finicky to get right but it's oh so worth it

Still works even after latest update, and it works with any divider you encounter. I just did it in chapter ten and also in chapter 12.

I pretty much get it to work but not getting as much as he is
So i'm doing a plasma cutter only run right now, I wasn't able to get the full version but I made multiple saves here I'll come back right after I finish the game...But i was able to get 10+ items from it.

Yeah, you're doing it completely wrong! You should watch some other videos out there and really take note.
