The building is looking great! One suggestion that I would make to help with the tippy feeling you alluded to when carrying a heavy load in the front bucket is to add a set of rear wheel weights and liquid ballast to the rear tires. I did that for my 1023E. It is incredible the difference those additions made to the stability of the machine. Keep up the great content!
Don't know if you have any liquid ballast in your rear tires, but that made a huge difference for me. I used Rimguard, & also added 2 inch spacers to help with the side to side balance. I enjoy watching the progress.
Hahaha! “Would you kids like to come over for dinner? Come early - we’ve got 20 tons of crush and run to rake this afternoon! “. Great storage space and it’s coming together quickly. I have storage envy!
I love those up north call 4x4's poles. We use treated telephone/power line poles and use them as ridge lines as well. Normally for housing cows or horses with pens. The cows would use a pole barn as shelter in winter and storms.
We've been following along with this build & it's really coming along nicely! Hard work does pay off in the end! Keep it up & stay safe! Ps. Thanks for the carry all idea! We just started our build! 😊
It's all about ballast, put some wheels spacers on all four of your wheels, you can also had wheel weights on the rear wheels, you could also put fluids in the rear wheels, you can also put a ballast box on your three points with around 700 pounds of ciment or rocks into it. Then you can load up that bucket .... with confidence
Nice job. Don’t listen to the peanut gallery about loading the bucket. Safety is kinda ingrained in you from your previous job. Follow your instincts, they serve you well.
@@ataleofthreecabins1025 Oops, my bad! Somehow, I missed that part of the vid, sorry. I think when my wife asked me to start a load of laundry. 🤐🤐🤐 I will re-watch.
Where are you then? Cause in Maine I get 12 yards of 7/8" minus stone for about $400. I think that is about 20tons, my guy charges by the truck and his truck holds 12 yards.
You are doing great filling your bucket and you have lots of ballast on the back 👍. Many don’t and should!!

Impressive work, Tom! I liked your saying about the family that spreads rock together...
Cheers!
Safety is always first. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Joys of doing work yourself nicely done
Looking good Tom! Thanks for sharing the links to the laser stuff, I have been in the market for those.
What’s the advantage of putting the sewer at the center vs near the entrance?
My tractor sit right over it, so when it’s full of snow in the winter it goes directly in the sewer. Also easer to hose of when cleaning.

Be careful taking the kayaks down. They look like great spots for muddabbers.
Hope not, I get them on the bottom of my gas cans.
No layered compaction?!?
Yes, 3 times. Only showed one.

Wow. That's a lot of gravel, about $10K worth where I live. Nice work though.
