I'm probably reading too much into this, but is it telling that the writers of Pixels have no clue or general passion about writing how video games work because they alien pixel things are never refereed to as "sprites"? Just "Video games are attacking us!".
Fred Savage is directing apparently every show on TV. Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, 2 Broke Girls, Mom. It's kinda surprising he has done all that and been relatively quiet.

I just found this channel last night. Really enjoying it lol. Me and a buddy always talked about doing something like this and honestly these guys nailed it.
The wild thing is that Dinklages character is based on Billy Mitchell, who actually cheated his records on old arcade games by altering the equipment. Someone cared enough to know about Mitchell before Twin Galaxies took his records down and Mitchell shot off a bunch of lawsuit. There was a minor amount of love given to this script.
Well Billy was a fairly well known video game player back in the day. If you knew about a professional video game player, it was likely him unfortunately. Remember, AVGN also casually references him in his Transformers review, so I'm not gonna give the writers any credit here. The cheating thing is also purely a coincidence, Billy just gives off that bad guy vibe cuz of his role in King of Kong, and when you're working with video games you might as well make the bad guy cheat cuz cheat codes (even if it makes absolutely no sense in this context). Anyways, here's hoping the Karl vs Billy trial comes to a positive conclusion!

I tend to think that the "improv" had to have been scripted, because it didn't feel like he was having fun. It was like going to Starbucks, and there's not enough staff. It's just paper cups, no foam art. Not only that, everyone is stressed, and you feel guilty mentioning that your order isn't up to par. The ingredients are just added to your cup, and it's reasonably warm. The movie is like that. It has the expected ingredients. The story is barely passable, but it's there. A love story is also added, as a token shot of whipped cream. It's a standard Sandler Sandwich, with the expected ingredients, but the bread is dry, as well as the cheese. AS doesn't even seem to feel like it's worth pretending that he's into the role.

He just drew a comparison between the two in the context that Welles and Sandler both were doing something where they looked really uncomfortable and didn't want to be there. Sandler looking like that during his shitty movie, Welles looking like that in a commercial.
right, orson hated his role in the transformers animated film in the 80s
I'm probably reading too much into this, but is it telling that the writers of Pixels have no clue or general passion about writing how video games work because they alien pixel things are never refereed to as "sprites"? Just "Video games are attacking us!".
This is the best episode because we see Jack get horribly mangled.
Imanmagnet00 Best fucking comment ever goddammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imanmagnet00 And see that his gastrointestinal system was made of sausage.
Imanmagnet00 This episode should be titled "wish fulfillment"

Neh, I just think he is the worst part of RLM, so this ending made me laugh and smile a lot.

Lol, I have, he's just as annoying in there, I really tried to watch it, but he made it unbearable.
Pixels is a video game movie for people who haven't played a video game since the video game market crash of 1983.
Fred Savage is directing apparently every show on TV. Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, 2 Broke Girls, Mom. It's kinda surprising he has done all that and been relatively quiet.
"I didn't progress."-Adam Sandler
That's the story of his life now.
"London Bridge is falling down."
"Uh, that's Tower Bridge."
"Nobody cares!"
2 Half in the Bags in 2 days? These hack frauds should stop rushing their reviews and give what their fans want!
David Bux THIS CHANNEL SUCKS NOW
David Bux No. The more Rich Evans the better.
David Bux IT FUCKING SUCKS, FUCKING HACKS. IT DOESNT RHYME AT All.
This is genuinely what I want
David Bux Maybe you can DO IT better.
Mike should really teach script writing 101
Mike who? The same Mike that wrote Space Cop?
I don't actually watch movies, but I really enjoy these people, whoever they are, talking about movies, whatever they are
"Eccentric" was basically a euphemism for gay back when movies weren't allowed to have explicit gay characters.
That's too smart for this film
Woow
But this film is from 2015??
This film happened _well after_ gay characters started appearing with more frequency and explicitness in media.
Or kooky old people without any apparent sexuality

Corporations have ruined 80s nostalgia for me. I'm all about late 1340s Europe nostalgia now.
@@arfarfarf256 Black Death nostalgia is all the rage in 2019 and 2020
They didnt give Jane Krakowski any lines because if she actually got to show her comedic talents they would have stolen the light away adam shmandler.. she really is god damn hilarious
Who?...
Whatever you say Jane
@@samuelhatlestad6676she played Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock, quite possibly the best supporting character in a 21st century sitcom.
I can’t believe Mike, Jay and Rich got Johnny Sins on the show
I just found this channel last night. Really enjoying it lol. Me and a buddy always talked about doing something like this and honestly these guys nailed it.
Jack, man, you gotta learn to chew your food. That was like 6 whole sausages.
What's even worse is Futurama did an episode with the same premise.
rich put more effort into playing two characters than adam sandler did in jack and jill!
Adam Sandler looks like a man with the weight of having to keep food on the table of his less successful friends, when really he just wants to retire.
And Mitchell’s lawsuits are still ongoing to this day
Well Billy was a fairly well known video game player back in the day.
"I don't like being stabbed!" -Jack, 2015
Guest starting James Carville
can't unsee that now
I will say one thing for Hollywood: They are very good (for the most part) about telling you how shitty the movie will be in the trailer.
About the sword lady, she is probably photorealistic instead of pixeled, because her character is a digitized actress, like in Mortal Kombat.
So if Josh Gad's character is obsessed with the sword lady, has he been stalking the actress?
I had to make a break and watch the Orson Welles commercials... Aaaaaah, french champagne...
Rich Evans tried to warn us about Fred and no one listened.
Best ending for a 1/2 in the Bag 11/10 would watch again.
The difference in colour grading between the angle shots and the front shots is killing me 😂
Kevin James could actually be a respectable actor why does he do this to himself lol
Hopefully, they'll cast him in a mission impossible parody and he'll do his own stunts. Shooting will stop by end of day one.
Probably because Adam guilt trips him.
Money. Ride the gravy train as long as you can, because plenty of actors have tried to jump a level in respectability, never to be seen again.
@@PhilipKaskela you right man. I mean shit you gotta get your bread too and Adam Sandler makes bank they gotta ssystem that works so keep doing it but lol
I love Jays face every time Mike brings up Star Trek
The best joke adam sandler ever gave us was his career.
it's so dense every single image has so many things going on
I tend to think that the "improv" had to have been scripted, because it didn't feel like he was having fun. AS doesn't even seem to feel like it's worth pretending that he's into the role.
oddly specific...
That intro is so weird... Rich giving the combination was him trying out a bit, thinking it failed, and then Mike running with it... and then he commits to it while Rich and Jack discuss doing the bit he is currently doing. It comes across as really good acting but it was just confusion
Futurama had a segment like this in a episode and it's like 10 minutes long and better
