Yes!!! I've been waiting for this! Been a diehard hockey fan for years and know most of this stuff already but your videos are so informative and relaxing, I love it!!!
I played hockey from elementary school to college, you did a really great job explaining the basics in this video! The only thing I noticed that you missed is that for a standard face-off at the red line, the 3 offensive players (right wing, left wing, and center) from each team line up face to face at the red line, with each team facing forwards towards the net they're trying to score on, with the center obviously being in the center and the wings on each side at the edge of where the circle meets the red line. The 2 defensemen line up behind more towards the blue line on each side, also facing forwards towards the net they're trying to score on. Overall great video! Wish I could've seen it as a kid when I first started playing and my coach for some reason never explained to me what "offsides" meant so I was always getting confused why the refs kept blowing the whistle at me whenever I crossed the blue line 😂
i love this video so much i love hockey i’ve been playing since i was 5 skating since i was 1 i was on a highschool team and travel now i’m going to play college hockey next year. love the videos keep it up! “face off dots”
It's usually pretty comfortable inside actually especially in the upper decks. Down by the glass a sweatshirt and some and you'll be in for a great time! All the cooling for the ice is underneath the rink and doesn't really reach past the boards

Glad you like them! I hope this was ok, I feel like I left out so much, but I'll do a video with terminology later.
@@Nofrillsasmr absolutely you did a great job! Especially for someone literally just learning it! Can't wait for more

learning so much about sports with the vids! good work!
Awesome! Thank you!
As a hockey fan I can tell you that most of these explanations were spot on. Great job.🎉
Awesome! Thank you!
Perfect day for this video for this it’s nhl trade deadline day. Basically no more trades can happen till the summer now.
I had no idea. Lucky timing!
You can still trade after the deadline. The player will just be ineligible for the rest of the regular season games and playoffs
@@Goobert14 i didn’t wanna complicate it too much

I like the thumbnail ahah. I perceived it as concealed fury against the complexity of rules.

My question is do they have it cold inside a Hockey arena ? Just asking.

Day 1,000,000 waiting for English Premier league for beginners😁🫡
I’ll have to have a week off work to study for that one. I know nothing, I mean, except what I learned from Ted Lasso. 😀
@@Nofrillsasmr I will be patiently waiting
@@Nofrillsasmrif you watched Ted Lasso. It should be pretty easy to pick up!
