That way the mail goes back to the company directly and they usually take your information off their list when mail keeps getting sent back. (It's just like unsubscribing from a junk e-mail).

US PS is not the reason why you get newspapers and junk mail from banks and other companies (they just deliver it) they don’t have any control they’re not the one SENDING IT
What we can get rid of mail is start paying bills on line and just throw the junk mail out then hopefully they will stop and don’t tell the post office that you moved

This is true. We wrote REFUSED/Return to sender on a bunch of junk mail and it all got sent back to us!
They just keep sending it. It’s all automated anyway
