Yep it is where most of late game player are. 4 stage (3 mobs stages and 1 boss stage), have specific weather that benefit some valk and have bracket where Nirvana is the highest (where all the whale is) and red lotus/agony is where the majority of player is in these bracket

Anti entropy was formed to oppose Otto. After lvl 81, Q-manifold becomes superstring dimension, where u fight enemy waves over 4 separate stages and ends with a Boss with unique mechanics. It is a time attack system with a leaderboard
@@kyotheman69 this was ages ago. Like late late 2017 early 2018 or sth iirc (i play on SEA), It wasnt called spiral abyss like in genshin, it was just abyss or infinity abyss. There was a mechanic where if ur charas took too long temperature or bleed would get too high and they would just die from the DoT
Regarding the Otto lore situation, he was never a part of Anti-Entropy. Schicksal as an organization existed primarily in Europe initially. After winning the Civil War in the 1400s and gaining control of the Apocalypse household, Otto would become the Overseer of Schicksal and expand it's influence to the rest of the world. In the 1950s, the first Herrscher was born and captured for study. Eventually, the first Herrscher would be given the name Welt Joyce as he developed personal relationships with the group of scientists tasked to study him. He and those scientists would later be transferred to Schicksal North American's branch to assist with the excavation of a newly discovered Previous Era site. At the time, the North American branch was already on bad terms with Schicksal's main branch in Europe due to ethical concerns they had with regards to the inhumane experiments associated with the creation and strengthening of Valkyries; this is part of the reason they strictly use mechs instead of waifus for combat. Long story short, Otto ends up killing Welt and many from his entourage of scientists due to the knowledge gained from the Previous Era site. Afterwards, the North American branch officially cut ties with Schicksal and became what is now known as Anti-Entropy.
Also, the current Welt is the son of a Finnish Previous Era linguist Elias Nokianvirtanen, Joachim. Joachim has inherited the name, the Core of Reason and the mission from the original Welt.
To be honest, i think people are heavily overestimating what 1 month of play actually gets you. Most of the people enraged by the video are people playing 1+ years, which is 12 times more than the amount of time he’s spent. You can’t really expect him to reach veteran level game knowledge in that amount of time.
The problem isnt that he didnt get through everything, thats normal The problem is that he was saying misinfo on the stuff he got to know when he could check Especially lore, info about AE and P2 protagonist isnt that hard to find
At first I could tell that he didn't play far from his knowledge of the story and the content but he did mention that he only played for a month so it's definitely understandable, I remember my first month getting into Hi3 last year the ui and systems was overwhelming at first
Yeah but the important part of the videos wasn't the Lore but the mechanics and specially warm people of the not so healthy mometization practices of the game, I played Honkai Impact 3rd for 6 years and I am a lvl 81 captain, so I know almost everything you need yo know, but I also recognize the Lore analysis wasn't the point.
@@Charlett Misinfo about the lore consist of 6-7 years , can we really blame him tho? the lore in this game is bigger than HSR and GI combine. and heck some lore on wiki aren't even correct or update properly till this day.
Yo, mad props to you for actually addressing the mistakes you made in the review! None of them were severe to the point of changing the total impression of the game, but the effort you've made to be 100% honest is definitely commendable. Keep up the great content!
@@kusakabe3264 I mean yeah, and I am a massive hi3 lore nerd myself, but ultimately I think that it only matters to seasoned hi3 players and we already have our opinion on the game so we aren't the target audience of videos like this, and people who are considering to play it at this moment couldn't care less wether AE was founded by Otto or not. It doesn't impact the game's evaluation, so it's not a huge deal IMO. That said it's ofc very nice for the reviewer to correct the mistakes nonetheless.
@@SnekFangz If you make guides for beginner or review, you should have an in-deph comprehension of the game first. It's only natural that veterans would try to pinpoint errors within them to avoid misleading newcomers. And it's very humble of him to take critism instead of taking offense like any would have.
lol this game has been around for like seven years, so itd be hard to know everything in one month. in the lore though, otto is in charge of schicksal, and anti entropy was a branch of schicksal made by the scientists. they later on separated from schicksal because they had problems with otto.
I *think* the Herrscher of Sentience summer outfit is rerunning pretty soon, the gacha outfits rerun every so often. Additionally there is just SO MUCH content for this game, I started playing last year and fell in love with the story, and it maybe took 200-300 hrs to almost catch up to what was out at that time. Then add the time of reading the manga and other extra content and it adds even more time. It's just so much to take in and remember. I feel like I see a lot of people online saying wrong info about the game, so full props to you for correcting it!
Glad you’re gonna get some more people on board for the reviews in terms of questions you have or clearing things up. Opens the door for some neat collabs and I’m looking forward to it.
Veteran honkai Captain here. A cool think that happened was an event that was called Threshold Breach. It was so popular that it inspired them to eventually make the Elysian Realm Endgame content.
I'd like to add that after 2.0 the gacha system has been changed. Before 2.0 full weapon + sigma set can be used up to 200 rolls and character is 100 rolls for 100% chance to obtain. Now for 2.0 characters it take 90 rolls and weapon in 2.0 now only cost 60 rolls since the stigma for 2.0 can be crafted this is quite immense cost reduction. So for new players they should be spending on 2.0 banner characters since it's a lot cheaper and they are mostly better than 1.0 character.
- Otto isn't connected to Anti-Entropy. He's is the leader of Schicksal. Anti-Entropy use to be the American branch of Schicksal before breaking off and rebranding themselves as AE with Welt as their leader - The connection from part 1 to part 2 isn't in part 2's story, but is actually the last chapter in what is referred to as part 1.5 by the community. The actual folder it's under is called 'Dance of Life and Death' with the chapter name 'The Star Which the Moon Gazes Upon' - (For context) After lvl 81 Q-manifold turns into Exalted Abyss with 5 floors (one being optional) that function more like separate levels with the last one being a boss. It's higher in difficulty and gives more rewards than Q-manifold. The same thing happens to Memorial Arena, turning it into Exalted Memorial Arena, except it just adds one more difficulty to the boss, going from SS to SSS while adding on extra mechanics to the fight. Both have leaderboards, but Abyss has an actual rank system going from Forbidden, Sinful 1-3, Agony 1-3, Redlotus, and Nirvana - Unless something changed while I was taking a few month long break events do still rerun, you just cant revisit them at anytime. Only when miHoYo reruns the events themselves can you play them (seemingly with the exception of some events in part 2? Idk the ones I played during the release of part 2 aren't there, but some that dropped during my break were)
Thanks for the clarifications!! I was really confused regarding the anti-entropy part! I also did know part 2 does get connected to part 1 later on but it's completely understandable! It makes it really good for a new player to figure that out on their own as they progress. i had mixed thoughts as a returnee who came back like 5 years later but I'm enjoying the game so far.
I have some known guys that are fans of HI3, and I can imagine why the addressing of mistakes It's ok, but bro have the best attitude towards making things clear, it's small mistakes in the end ❤
It was still a solid review, the mistakes were relatively minor or understandable since i assumed you havent gotten to the content yet or experienced certain things for your self. Honestly just a first impressions then an updated review later on for gachas you said you're in for would be a good idea. One thing im not sure if you noticed is that you can actually craft the stigmata from pt2 gacha so if you get the weapon at or before pity, you can actually craft any stigmata your missing eventually. The game has also been very generous with free S rank valks (sometimes the newest one too), costumes, and stigmata selector boxes. Think since the start of pt 2 we've gotten a stigmata selector each patch for the newest banner. Also the fact they've been updating standard banner and war treasury with older characters is great. Also one more thing thats hard to notice, which is nice, but a bit of a fomo is that the leveling of the newest character each patch is actually discounted and cost less materials. This wont matter too much late game since these materials are in abbundance, but is good for new players. For reference i have: 248 million coins and 2418 super exp chips which will be more than ill ever need ever. Im never finding the resources scarce like in genshin, hsr or ZZZ where i cant build all characters or talents. Also nice thay all characters weapons and talents use the same kind of resources which was the standard before genshin. Scarce progression resources will be pri arm materials and pt 2 stigmata upgrade materials since those require recycling of gacha weapon or stigmata, but can be provided in events too.
I thought most people would just put the corrections as pinned comment in the original video, but an entire new video? It wasn't necessary, but highly appreciated, and just shows how dedicated you are. Keep up the good work.
Good job on addressing some of the mistakes! honestly as a veteran HI3rd, I can't even begin to imagine how the new player experience might be like right now with the numerous changes, in both the game, meta and story, so i'm glad you at least gave it a shot and tried it out
Cool to hear you are willing to make a video correcting your mistakes :D. In terms of suggestions for gacha games to do a review would probably be "Tokyo afterschool summoners" mainly being since most of the games you have reviewed has female focus cast. I want to see your reaction to a male focus cast lol
I've been playing honkai since day one on the SEA server so after 7 years even i wasn't expecting for someone to get everything right in 1 month of playing but hey kudos for coming back and correct the mistakes
honestly, props for correcting your mistake, and for bringing an actualy good point about the game, as a long term players(started on V4.7, but only realy got into v4.9 when genshin collab dropped) i never felt realy that bad about the games monatazation system, and tought they treated they players realy well, but after your first video, i saw that this game rewards a lot people that constantly come back and long term players, rather than helping the new players. something i don't expect you to know, the game is moderaly generous with its returning and long term fanbase(especially at special events), such as giving S ranks for free(the last one was herrschers of sentience if i remember correctly), spending events(when you spend crystals, you get special coins which you can use to buy bonus things at the shop), and even full valkyries such a carolie(she, and all her gears, where giving for free in patch 7.3 when part 2 dropped), so i never felt anything strongly bad about the game, but seeing how a new player reacts refreshed my memory when i started playing the game and was so confused about everything, keep up the good work
New players only get confused because: 1: They don't read anything and try to rush things 2: They think it will be Genshin or HSR that are not standard Gacha at all. 3: They want the game to hold their hands 4: They think they can just go into a 8 years old game and have everything sorted out like a veteran, that's what the sensei system is for as well as Armada and Discord communities. It's like diving into FGO and thinking you'll be in a casual environment from the get go. Mostly a Westerner issue with no true Gacha Experience. 5; They waste their resource on frantic pulls and say the game is greedy afterwards despite some people suggestion on how to roll. I may sound harsh but I made preparation to get into Hi3rd. I informed myself and watched gameplay videos and guides before going in and I had the FGO experience and the interface was hella easy to get. That might be a generational issue but the new kids seems to be struggling to even get the simplest instruction that are kindergarten level sometimes. Then those new players get frustrated and start spreading misinformation on UA-cam after having played 0% of the game and get surprised when they get annihilated by the Veterans and Captains
Once entering level 81, it's also the moment you'll enter a new abyss stage Superstring Dimension. This is where the real competitive side of Honkai Impact 3rd really shows. Do note that you need to at least have 3 teams to be able to actually compete in this stage. Fortunately Part 2 Characters allows you to just have one team in particular, just switch the leader if you want to use the DPS (for example you have Senadina, Thelema, and Lantern in one team, if the weather requires you to use fire, then Lantern should be the leader, if you need Ice then Thelema, and if you need Lightning then Senadina). Before Part 2, you have to at least build 2 or 3 teams as back then every element has their own supports (Fire and Lightning use HoTr, Ice uses Sushang, Physical uses HoS or HoRb, Lightning can also uses LV). You also gain Exalted Memorial Arena too in lvl 81+, gaining access to SSS Bosses and this is the 2nd part where the competitive side of the game really shows.
i appreciate your willingness to acknowledge the mistakes in your man! as a veteran player (2+ years, lvl 81) i was already impressed with how thorough your original review was! the fact that most of your errors were related to endgame and some lore details is entirely understandable imo, this is an OLD ass game and reaching the true endgame takes a not insignificant amount of time and account investment the only additional correction i would like to point out is that the actual banner gacha got a bit of a rework when part 2 of the story released: moving forward with any new valk released it only takes a max of 90 rolls to obtain (and even the drop % for the S-rank slightly increased) and for her signature gear the cost has gone WAY down bc now you only need to roll until you get her signature weapon cause all part 2 stigmata are craftable (w/ a new resource separate from what part 1 stigmata use)
Dayum, last night i was watched your video when passing by in my fyp and i see the 7/10 hi3 rating video im just constantly saying to myself "nah, he know nothing" and then this video passing by the next day and i was just "what?? He correcting his mistakes"
Respect for doing your best to correct yourself. That vid was super extensive for someone who played the game for a month, and it's understandable you wouldn't get everything right.
Hello late-game player here (albeit at 600 days logged) If you've reached LV. 81, you can still do Q-manifold. But once the weather reseted, you will be put on a much higher abyss called Superstring Dimension. Also there are 4 difficulty levels at abyss, and 5. Forbidden, Sinful, Agony, and Red Lotus (with Nirvana in the highest levels exclusive in the superstring dimension) this is where you get more rewards in a form of crystals, ancient legacy, superstring option (ancient legacy / einstein torus), wafer stabilizer, and 1-week emblem to flex i guess But most 81 - 85 players agreed that you need to keep up with the ever-changing meta if you want to even surpass Agony 3 Honkai 3rd really demands you to do elysian realm and all late-game contents (even the ridiculously competitive memorial arena (especially SSS fighters) but yea, as a new player this (and the previous vids) are as accurate as the game gets
@@charginginprogresss you need weather-specific Valkyries and the weathered signets + the best signets for the said Valkyries for one, and you need to complete all the story first At first I used to hate ER, but I learned to like it because it gives the most crystals which is 600. Believe it or not, the 1st iteration of ER is impossibly hard because of Benares. Now many people still complaining abt Heimdall and its heavy-attack weakness, but it's still bearable
ER was fun until it got repetitive, when i used to play it, the ER rotation doesn't even matter, because meta valks will just bruteforce it even with bad signets/RNG. You just need to change the valks once in a while though. i started to bruteforce from: Mobius -> HoHe -> HoFin -> Lunar vow i got burnt out and left honkai at the end of 7.0 though
Wasn't expecting a follow-up. It's alright man, HI3 has been out for so long that there's so much content that it's only natural you'd get some stuff wrong after playing for such a short time. I think most captains are just glad you tried out the game, and are just hoping you stick to it so you can experience the story we all love. Of course, we know not everyone is willing to slog through so many chapters, but if you ever do, we'll be there to support you. Anyway, thanks for the cool review, and I hope you enjoy if you ever continue!
Well, the Anti-Entropy lore still had some mistakes(spoilers ahead for the manga) Otto was never involved in the formation of AE,and he's still the leader of Schicksal. And the whole 1st Herrscher incident did involve Welt Yang, the Welt we know and love, but the original Herrscher wasn't him,it was a guy named Welt Joyce. He got through all the stuff you mentioned on the video and when he died in the middle of a battle(I think it was in a battle,I don't remember,it has been almost two years since I read the manga) he passed his name and his Herrscher core to a boy he was friends with, this boy then changes his name to Welt Yang and becomes the new 1st Herrscher. Also a fun fact:Welt is canonicaly over 80(granted there's a lot of stuff happening here, but he does look pretty good for his age). Also it is pretty good you are willing to do a follow-up if you get a lot wrong,it's really easy to get confused with these big lore games and the mess that are the HI3 systems and you were pretty honest about the mistakes you made
Wasn't in a manga but rather one of the VN's, the anti entropy vn. And you can say that otto was involved in the creation of ae since it basicly came as a result of his dispute with the now leaders of the faction
For the event part. I will make it quick and easy to understand. Past event in Hi3 is where players have to grind a specific story stage for a specific event drops. And then use it to exchange for items Over the past years, miHoYo slowly split them apart where event have their own gamemode like how you play and story is just for story (1 of the reason is also due to the implementation of Open World story, it doesnt work well with the old way which require story stage)
You can't be faulted for trying to get almost 9 years of in-game changes and trying to feel them in a single month. Your effort nonetheless is very appreciated especially with the fact that you decided to make a follow-up to try and correct those. That imo is a channel I'm definitely going to sub to. Just a side note on what many of us veteran Captains ignore especially when almost none of us have faced any issue is the elephant in the room that is the EVA Collab. HI3 account linking in the past was very iffy and if you were unlucky (like me) while trying to link your account with the new Hoyoverse account system you sometimes end up losing years of progress with no way to get it back coz the customer service is horrible. I never got my account back but that's besides the point that Mihoyo (and the veteran Captains who got the valk and weapon) refuse to acknowledge the EVA Collab which came with the Valk Asuka and a Spear Weapon called Longinus. So unless you got them, the newer players won't even realise that such a character exists coz it just doesn't exist in the game anywhere. Same for a few very early game Beach Skins which were completely wiped out of the game unless you had them or you know they existed but never got them. Asuka in the entire game Meta is meaningless but the game isn't just Meta but also collecting Valks and wiping one of them out completely is just atrocious. Idk if this same thing applies for another valk Fischl from the Genshin Collab (coz I have them) but the FOMO aspect should get a few points off imho.
man you were so cool doing this small vid but I do think, at least for this one, a pinned comment talking about these corrections would have been enough
I know ive already mentioned this once before, but id love to see you do an ateocious gacha review on alchemy stars, would be great to see more peoples opinions on the game
Thanks for making these corrections! Just one other thing to add on is that material acquisition changes drastically after level 50. You gain access to new open world content, Q Manifold changes to Abyss and Memorial Arena content increases in difficulty and rewards, as well as unlocking a Rogue-Like mode called Elysian Realm, all of which give a ton of resources and crystals. HI3 might not be the most generous game out there, but it's certainly not stingy and actually has some of the best side content/events of any gacha game out there once you reach the level and time requirements. And even in the side content, the stories they provide are nothing short of genre leading.
Nobody is perfect and this is a new series and content creation you are doing so I do not blame you for any mistakes. They always say that staring out new content is always sloppy and messy and would have mistakes. Glad you address it and own up to it though very quickly and corrected yourself!! That is awesome and glad you did it! Lowkey I know this might sound scummy but please review Shin Megami Tensei Dx2 for a gacha review please!!!!!!
Well it’s 50% less of the bonus run you could make with that cost so not completely wrong but adds up to -25%. Which also means that since daily threads give 50% more *of the bonus* you don’t really lose anything by skipping them which cuts down the grind to about 5 minutes at worst for the exp thread until you can steamroll it at 3 minutes. It just comes out as doing two additional runs with no bonus which you *will* need.
HI3rd is massive and convoluted in both account progression and plot. I had a lot of fun watching your review, since so few people thoroughly describe their experience with this game as a novice. Thank you! It made me too nostalgic, remembering all the things I could not understand fully back when I started playing. Long time players expected you to make mistakes explainig this game, it was fun guessing which ones those would be 😂
Didn’t expect this, but its nice to see how much he cares about his credibility. Would be fun to see a perhaps, more veteran review on the game if he gets further in.
That's a very good idea to involve a seasoned player in your future reviews. For example, the "grind" element for me at this point takes about 15-20 minutes a day, because almost everything is "Lite" - click 1 button (or 2 or 20) - get currency (yes all of those). Even (!!!) Memorial Arena - except for the highest difficulty. Also if you participate in events, you get plenty of crystals. Not as much as in HSR but good enough. Regarding lore you should not worry too much. I mean, it's 50 thousand (at least) years of lore :D It's fine. Even veterans of the game argue about some things (in part due to horrific translation).
Appreciate the honesty. Honkai impact for me is like the forefather of modern Gacha Game, i just remembered years ago, dozens were trying to imitate this game but never achieved its level, then they birthed genshin impact where for few years, only one did really compete with it and succeeded.
Crazy that you just uploaded this video. I watched the HI3rd yesterday. Glad I got the notification. Not going to lie the game sounded overwhelming. Excited to see your follow-up
reposting this here. so it keeps being seen, hopefully - and a good reminder for you as well if this comes up again in the future chinese games Pseychie - On the grinding limit. its a thing that was mandatory on most chinese games for a time. and with H3I being so old, its a remnant from old law that was in place.
One more thing, the the last video you mention honkai universe lore (GGZ,HI3,HSR). You said it was a connected universes in the form of “sea of quanta”, if i remember that is not correct. The form that bridge between universe is called “Imaginary tree” and both of them actually coexist together in the early explanation it was said that the tree absorb nutrients from the sea, meanwhile the ‘world’ leaf/fruit that is ‘destroyed’ from the tree fall to the sea and consumed by it creating the infinite samsara(world reset). Im not certain that all i was saying was true because it was based of my experience and understanding of the lore and of course i forget a few thing so i need to improve it myself
didn’t watch the previous video, not gonna watch this one to be fully honest. I don’t watch reviews usually, it’s not because of you. But the fact you’re willing to correct your mistakes (and judging from the comments is not satire) makes you a level above any other reviewer. I subscribed just out of respect.
Like the series keep it up. My request is probably Guardian tales or outer plane. Haven’t played them in a while but would love to see the new player experience as I have heard they changed over the years.
I am so glad to have found your channel again. Enjoyed your Dead Cells content and hearing your voice again is very nice. Appreciate the content, keep up the good work!
There's only so much someone can do as a new player and sone of my remarks were meant to inform you as someone who has played this a while. And a bit of info, getting pri-arm mats may be harder pre-lv81 (though part 2 gachas being more generous with Toruses may offset that) But something to consider may be gathering outside info via community posts
I erase thy sins (lol). I can only speak for myself, but as a longtime (daily 4 years o_o) Honkai player, I appreciate it. I'm personally in it for the story and characters, so I very much appreciate correcting story mistakes (though there's others, like Siegfried not dying, but many are obscured by recontextualizations of previous concepts and events). I could go on and on about it for days, especially the manga Second Eruption. Tbh, if you were to get all of the story right, we'd be here with multiple part series lol. Part 2 will be connected to Part 1 much more next patch (since CN patches include all of new content, story included and we have the clairvoyance of 1 patch), but Helia and Coralie already do have a connection with Part 1 cast. Gameplay-wise, yeah, stuff changes a little bit over time. Endgame is basically doing dailies, events, Memorial Arena and Superstring Abyss ("waves of enemies stages + final boss stage" kind of deal, always 4 stages, one of them a boss) and story each new patch (there has been story each new patch pretty much every time - I don't really remember a patch where there was no story).
After you reach lv captain 80 you'll get an option to break through the celling. AFTER you break through, you'll be in the bracket of Whales and Veteran players. If your accounts is rather weak it is recommended that you farm more resources for pri-arms weapons and collect more valkyries before break through
- Honkai Impact 3rd is the title because it starts around the same time of third eruption - Anti-Entropy was a previous branch of Shicksal that was formed to oppose Otto - Part 2 is connected to Part 1 - Q-Manifold disappears after lv. 81, where you are sent to Superstring Abyss or smth
During 1st year Anniversary. I would relook at your Snowbreak review. They changing it a lot that creating a much better game and personally. Doing thing better then Nikke. As i'm finding every event now the gameplay in Nikke is not changing much and getting stale. Plus SSR rates i find personally are getting bad now. Of course it's up to you if you want to or not. Love and respect your analysis in your videos.
I ended up watching these videos out of order since the algorithm recommended me this one first, so will be leaving this here while I feel like your rating was pretty fair as an active HI3rd player, I do think it might be worthwhile to talk to longtime veterans for research (especially for older games) with regards to how endgame works, lore fact-checking, or even providing context to the game's development history as it ties into both progression/monetization. understandable if you'd prefer not to do this as it can influence the raw experience of being a new player, but could be helpful
Nice nice ,something to note is that lvl 81 unlocks you the super string abyss which is a high tier end game content, however because of how difficult it can be ,the game gives you the option to not get to that level, so you stay at lvl 80 as much as you want , even though most people would ignore it still lmao It might be a good idea to try to talk to the gacha long term content creators ,for honkai impact 3rd there is Marisa Honkai who has been in the game since the beginning i think
Could you make a short video going over the nikke favorite items and the impact they have on the meta? Possibly talk a little bit about the summer event
2:26 if you don't wanna MALD so early in your journey as a new Captain.. then don't go up. Not just yet. As a Veteran Captain since 2019, I recommend you take your time playing and collecting relevant Battlesuits/Waifus while you are under *lvl.80* Anyways, I know it's late for me to say this at this point but: *Welcome aboard the Hyperion, New Captain*
Is there any chance you'll give Granblue fantasy at all psey? I think it would be nice to get another older gacha game a try since i recently stumbled on your Fate Grand order review.
Really excited to see your thoughs on ZZZ Been playing it since release, and I am really having a blast At least compared to Honkai Star Rail It does feels like a traditional JRPG similar to the likes of Persona mixed with Devil May Cry elements I been noticing a divide between people who play it for the story and animation and those who are for the gacha, and it would be interesting seeing your take on that
after level 81 you go into superstring dimanion instead, which works differently. you actually used to go to a differnt mode bewteen the two called dirac sea after like, rank 50 or so. but seems they removed it ---future generations will be spared the pain of duo elites nodes--
damn, never thought I see people admiting their mistakes in this generation, that is rare that aside, I believe is best to look for the veteran who has play the game the longest or who are up to date with them...

To be honest, i think people are heavily overestimating what 1 month of play actually gets you. Most of the people enraged by the video are people playing 1+ years, which is 12 times more than the amount of time he’s spent. You can’t really expect him to reach veteran level game knowledge in that amount of time.
The problem isnt that he didnt get through everything, thats normal
The problem is that he was saying misinfo on the stuff he got to know when he could check
Especially lore, info about AE and P2 protagonist isnt that hard to find
@@Charlett Hi3 lore is all over the place, so can't really blame him for that.

Yo, mad props to you for actually addressing the mistakes you made in the review! None of them were severe to the point of changing the total impression of the game, but the effort you've made to be 100% honest is definitely commendable.
Keep up the great content!

@@kazumi2418hobbies are fun like that
@@kusakabe3264 I mean yeah, and I am a massive hi3 lore nerd myself, but ultimately I think that it only matters to seasoned hi3 players and we already have our opinion on the game so we aren't the target audience of videos like this, and people who are considering to play it at this moment couldn't care less wether AE was founded by Otto or not.
Imagine just watched the previous vid 3s ago and coming here.
Same 😅
I *think* the Herrscher of Sentience summer outfit is rerunning pretty soon, the gacha outfits rerun every so often.
Next patch literally
Glad you’re gonna get some more people on board for the reviews in terms of questions you have or clearing things up. Opens the door for some neat collabs and I’m looking forward to it.

:Teripout:
Anti-Entropy use to be the American branch of Schicksal before breaking off and rebranding themselves as AE with Welt as their leader
- The connection from part 1 to part 2 isn't in part 2's story, but is actually the last chapter in what is referred to as part 1.5 by the community. The actual folder it's under is called 'Dance of Life and Death' with the chapter name 'The Star Which the Moon Gazes Upon'
- (For context) After lvl 81 Q-manifold turns into Exalted Abyss with 5 floors (one being optional) that function more like separate levels with the last one being a boss. It's higher in difficulty and gives more rewards than Q-manifold. The same thing happens to Memorial Arena, turning it into Exalted Memorial Arena, except it just adds one more difficulty to the boss, going from SS to SSS while adding on extra mechanics to the fight. Both have leaderboards, but Abyss has an actual rank system going from Forbidden, Sinful 1-3, Agony 1-3, Redlotus, and Nirvana
- Unless something changed while I was taking a few month long break events do still rerun, you just cant revisit them at anytime. Only when miHoYo reruns the events themselves can you play them (seemingly with the exception of some events in part 2? Idk the ones I played during the release of part 2 aren't there, but some that dropped during my break were)
Can't wait for the PGR video
Thanks for the clarifications!! I was really confused regarding the anti-entropy part! I also did know part 2 does get connected to part 1 later on but it's completely understandable! It makes it really good for a new player to figure that out on their own as they progress. i had mixed thoughts as a returnee who came back like 5 years later but I'm enjoying the game so far.
I have some known guys that are fans of HI3, and I can imagine why the addressing of mistakes
It's ok, but bro have the best attitude towards making things clear, it's small mistakes in the end ❤
That's amazing, congrats man, addressing mistakes is always the way to go.
For reference i have:
248 million coins and 2418 super exp chips which will be more than ill ever need ever.
Imagine someone admitting mistakes! Outrageous!
Make sure you keep enjoying the games you play ❤
It's admirable that he corrects any mistakes instead of ignoring them, subbed instantly.
I thought most people would just put the corrections as pinned comment in the original video, but an entire new video? It wasn't necessary, but highly appreciated, and just shows how dedicated you are. Keep up the good work.
Good job on addressing some of the mistakes! honestly as a veteran HI3rd, I can't even begin to imagine how the new player experience might be like right now with the numerous changes, in both the game, meta and story, so i'm glad you at least gave it a shot and tried it out
My man making this video just bring happiness to my heart. Thank you
great job making this video, been a captain since 2017 and i noticed some of these mistakes but overall, the essence of the video was still valid.
Cool to hear you are willing to make a video correcting your mistakes :D. In terms of suggestions for gacha games to do a review would probably be "Tokyo afterschool summoners" mainly being since most of the games you have reviewed has female focus cast. I want to see your reaction to a male focus cast lol
This is the content creator I was looking for who has integrity, which is rare these days!
I've been playing honkai since day one on the SEA server so after 7 years even i wasn't expecting for someone to get everything right in 1 month of playing but hey kudos for coming back and correct the mistakes
oh wow you actually correct those mistakes, I did notice it in the last but i think it not that big of a deal to the over all review. Great job!
honestly, props for correcting your mistake, and for bringing an actualy good point about the game, as a long term players(started on V4.7, but only realy got into v4.9 when genshin collab dropped) i never felt realy that bad about the games monatazation system, and tought they treated they players realy well, but after your first video, i saw that this game rewards a lot people that constantly come back and long term players, rather than helping the new players.
something i don't expect you to know, the game is moderaly generous with its returning and long term fanbase(especially at special events), such as giving S ranks for free(the last one was herrschers of sentience if i remember correctly), spending events(when you spend crystals, you get special coins which you can use to buy bonus things at the shop), and even full valkyries such a carolie(she, and all her gears, where giving for free in patch 7.3 when part 2 dropped), so i never felt anything strongly bad about the game, but seeing how a new player reacts refreshed my memory when i started playing the game and was so confused about everything, keep up the good work
New players only get confused because:
1: They don't read anything and try to rush things
2: They think it will be Genshin or HSR that are not standard Gacha at all.
3: They want the game to hold their hands
4: They think they can just go into a 8 years old game and have everything sorted out like a veteran, that's what the sensei system is for as well as Armada and Discord communities.
You also gain Exalted Memorial Arena too in lvl 81+, gaining access to SSS Bosses and this is the 2nd part where the competitive side of the game really shows.
i appreciate your willingness to acknowledge the mistakes in your man! as a veteran player (2+ years, lvl 81) i was already impressed with how thorough your original review was! the fact that most of your errors were related to endgame and some lore details is entirely understandable imo, this is an OLD ass game and reaching the true endgame takes a not insignificant amount of time and account investment
the only additional correction i would like to point out is that the actual banner gacha got a bit of a rework when part 2 of the story released: moving forward with any new valk released it only takes a max of 90 rolls to obtain (and even the drop % for the S-rank slightly increased) and for her signature gear the cost has gone WAY down bc now you only need to roll until you get her signature weapon cause all part 2 stigmata are craftable (w/ a new resource separate from what part 1 stigmata use)
its fine dude.. the first video was good enough.. noone can be expected to know everything in detail in one month.. good job!
3:50 that statment alone excites me... been waiting for ages
This is what makes you a great content creator
we love this guy, thats why we love this guy.
Hello late-game player here (albeit at 600 days logged)
If you've reached LV. 81, you can still do Q-manifold. But once the weather reseted, you will be put on a much higher abyss called Superstring Dimension. Also there are 4 difficulty levels at abyss, and 5. Forbidden, Sinful, Agony, and Red Lotus (with Nirvana in the highest levels exclusive in the superstring dimension) this is where you get more rewards in a form of crystals, ancient legacy, superstring option (ancient legacy / einstein torus), wafer stabilizer, and 1-week emblem to flex i guess
But most 81 - 85 players agreed that you need to keep up with the ever-changing meta if you want to even surpass Agony 3
Honkai 3rd really demands you to do elysian realm and all late-game contents (even the ridiculously competitive memorial arena (especially SSS fighters) but yea, as a new player this (and the previous vids) are as accurate as the game gets
Elysian realm, man if I hated that mode. Lol. Think I've done it once, then the first time I got locked, I never did it again. It was SO bad lol.
@@charginginprogresss you need weather-specific Valkyries and the weathered signets + the best signets for the said Valkyries for one, and you need to complete all the story first
At first I used to hate ER, but I learned to like it because it gives the most crystals which is 600. Believe it or not, the 1st iteration of ER is impossibly hard because of Benares. Now many people still complaining abt Heimdall and its heavy-attack weakness, but it's still bearable
@@xkongouosu4768 i kidna miss the exodia signets of infinity back then... literal infiinite damage
ER was fun until it got repetitive, when i used to play it, the ER rotation doesn't even matter, because meta valks will just bruteforce it even with bad signets/RNG. You just need to change the valks once in a while though.
i started to bruteforce from: Mobius -> HoHe -> HoFin -> Lunar vow
i got burnt out and left honkai at the end of 7.0 though
HI3rd does not demand you to do memorial arena, its rewards are trash, with the help of events and dailies you can get MA currency for leveling chars.
Its fine if you made content other than Nikke, but I still wanna know what you'd rate the new Sakura character variant
And then use it to exchange for items
Over the past years, miHoYo slowly split them apart where event have their own gamemode like how you play and story is just for story (1 of the reason is also due to the implementation of Open World story, it doesnt work well with the old way which require story stage)
Looking forward to your experience with the honkai story
Looking forward to seeing your first impressions of ZZZ!
I know ive already mentioned this once before, but id love to see you do an ateocious gacha review on alchemy stars, would be great to see more peoples opinions on the game
It's all good brother man we all are humans, we made mistakes all the times.
There was also a mistake in Limbus Company video. If you make level with 4 capsules you get additional 50% not 50% decrease.
Unfortunately he stop playing Limbus Company because the grind is too much for him and it seems that he won't play it again.
Excited to see your follow-up
reposting this here. so it keeps being seen, hopefully - and a good reminder for you as well if this comes up again in the future chinese games Pseychie -
On the grinding limit. its a thing that was mandatory on most chinese games for a time. and with H3I being so old, its a remnant from old law that was in place.
Mad respect for addressing some mistakes but there were a good amount of mistakes you didnt state, still tho you earned a sub
As a long time player, I'd say you did very good for just playing and studying for a month! It's very complicated and has a lot of bells and whistles.
This is why Pseychie are bound to become the greatest of all review channels.
Yo can't wait for your zzz video! 🔥

Glad you made this, if you need a long term free to play player from genshin (in return also starrail) whenever you review it hit me up
Wow instant sub you actually corrected your self
There's a browser-run VN named Anti-Entropy. It's short and gives the needed exposition into the AE's inception.
HE DID IT!! HE SAID “Honkai Impact 3rd” without “the”!!
There's only so much someone can do as a new player and sone of my remarks were meant to inform you as someone who has played this a while.
And a bit of info, getting pri-arm mats may be harder pre-lv81 (though part 2 gachas being more generous with Toruses may offset that)
But something to consider may be gathering outside info via community posts
We also need review new suit Sakura in Nikke. Love you content, thanks a lot for that
ZZZ opens in like Internot lvl 30, when Abyss-type game mode unlocks
cant wait for your star rail vid
I just like watching someone talking about games while I sleep lol
thanks for adressing the mistakes👍 neat, very neat
If your accounts is rather weak it is recommended that you farm more resources for pri-arms weapons and collect more valkyries before break through
- Honkai Impact 3rd is the title because it starts around the same time of third eruption
- Anti-Entropy was a previous branch of Shicksal that was formed to oppose Otto
- Part 2 is connected to Part 1
- Q-Manifold disappears after lv. 81, where you are sent to Superstring Abyss or smth
Superstring dimension*
During 1st year Anniversary. I would relook at your Snowbreak review. They changing it a lot that creating a much better game and personally. Doing thing better then Nikke. As i'm finding every event now the gameplay in Nikke is not changing much and getting stale. Plus SSR rates i find personally are getting bad now. Of course it's up to you if you want to or not. Love and respect your analysis in your videos.
I ended up watching these videos out of order since the algorithm recommended me this one first, so will be leaving this here
while I feel like your rating was pretty fair as an active HI3rd player, I do think it might be worthwhile to talk to longtime veterans for research (especially for older games) with regards to how endgame works, lore fact-checking, or even providing context to the game's development history as it ties into both progression/monetization. understandable if you'd prefer not to do this as it can influence the raw experience of being a new player, but could be helpful
Wait what. A review correction? On MY youtube?!
Huh, I like this alternate reality I woke up to today. I guess I'll stay here for a bit.
Nice nice ,something to note is that lvl 81 unlocks you the super string abyss which is a high tier end game content, however because of how difficult it can be ,the game gives you the option to not get to that level, so you stay at lvl 80 as much as you want , even though most people would ignore it still lmao
It might be a good idea to try to talk to the gacha long term content creators ,for honkai impact 3rd there is Marisa Honkai who has been in the game since the beginning i think
Could you make a short video going over the nikke favorite items and the impact they have on the meta? Possibly talk a little bit about the summer event
2:26 if you don't wanna MALD so early in your journey as a new Captain.. then don't go up. Not just yet.
As a Veteran Captain since 2019, I recommend you take your time playing and collecting relevant Battlesuits/Waifus while you are under *lvl.80*
Anyways, I know it's late for me to say this at this point but:
*Welcome aboard the Hyperion, New Captain*
Is there any chance you'll give Granblue fantasy at all psey? I think it would be nice to get another older gacha game a try since i recently stumbled on your Fate Grand order review.
No way rexlent collab for pgr review confirmed?!1?1?1!1!1?1
Really excited to see your thoughs on ZZZ
Been playing it since release, and I am really having a blast
At least compared to Honkai Star Rail
It does feels like a traditional JRPG similar to the likes of Persona mixed with Devil May Cry elements
I been noticing a divide between people who play it for the story and animation and those who are for the gacha, and it would be interesting seeing your take on that
Yeah I don't see a huge oversight in your video maybe the Q-Manifold rankings but the review was fair 👍
Just the fact you made this vid is good on ya' keep it up.
after level 81 you go into superstring dimanion instead, which works differently.
you actually used to go to a differnt mode bewteen the two called dirac sea after like, rank 50 or so. but seems they removed it ---future generations will be spared the pain of duo elites nodes--
damn, never thought I see people admiting their mistakes in this generation, that is rare
that aside, I believe is best to look for the veteran who has play the game the longest or who are up to date with them...
BTW, Senti's summer outfit is rerunning next patch again
i, ve been playing honkai for years and still don't know some of the lore your good bro
is the story very difficult to understand?
@@alriridho8565 if you don't skip then nah. but i skipped a lot cause i just liked fighting stuff
