Legends casually having the nerdiest conversations about how Gwendolyn’s is perfect for both their series. She’s phenomenal and her chemistry with Tom is just perfect !
If you liked the show, the graphic novels are better (of course), but there's also an audio play on Audible that's closer to the graphic novels (Dream as James McAvoy, Kat Dennings as Death etc) that's just as good as the show. So if you can't wait for season 2 they actually already did it there.
The show is a very very great adaptation. Honestly, even with Gaiman attached, I was worried knowing sometimes these things don't go as intended. But they pulled it off as much as they could!
I'm glad GRRM did that! Talk about blessing in disguise. I've been a fan since the 90's so being here now and seeing this graphic novel FINALLY come to life is such a dream come true - no pun intended.
Wild Cards is amazing too, George! I'm just beginning book 6, but I have read book 8, 9, and 10 out of order already, which made me begin from the first because I loved it so much.
It's glorious to see Neil smiling amd laughing👍🏽✌🏾🤟🏽❣️I know there's been so much stress of two massive projects and geographical/covid separation from Amanda and Ash, and now he's coming back altogether❣️
Neil Gaiman is Prince of fantasy horror. I love this so much. Words cannot express my satisfaction with the series. And I am so grateful that they didn’t stick freaking beards on all the main male characters!
The Sandman is my favorite comic series of all time, and this is a very faithful adaptation. While Neil doesn't get the writing credit for each episode, it is like the words from the page just slightly reimagined and reinterpreted, but still very much the same. If they are able to tell the FULL story, things that appeared in this first season will make you go Woah, WTF?! LOL! Enjoy the journey, folx! ~Be Blessed
Been waiting for a adaption for years, nervous it would get wrecked by Hollywood but I should have known Neil was waiting for the right people to do it and was going to do it right.....I can't wait to see Delirium!
Netflix: posts this of Gaiman talking about how we need this again, and how amazing it is, and how we need these people together Also Netflix: has not yet confirmed a new season
This is amazing! Finally something brain stimulating with clever substance on Netflix. Brilliantly written ! I enjoyed the writers vision. The simple fact that I visited 2 different realms and met a suited handsome guy in one. And a divine God in the other. There’s similarities I know in his dreams or meditation travels he awakes up after accessingo Delta etc and wakes up with fresh ideas. Probably wakes up and records himself notes of these inspirations, dreams, visions. Excellent! Thank you.
Martin does everything except what people needs him to do. Finish the damn winds of winter or choose a successor like Joe Abercrombie to finish it already
This might be some inside baseball, but my all-time favorite super-hero is the Great and Powerful Turtle. Check out George's hat, he carries that flame too.
She is absolutely stunning. The only thing I don't like entirely is the her, se needed a more curly har with more volume like Bowie had. But other than that, gorgeous.
Huge Fan of Both Gentlemen LOVE SANDMAN It is Stunning. Of course well written would love to see more from Neil in Netflix any chance of a revival of American Gods. One if my favorite books. So - the 'screw your courage to the sticking place' moment - hands up those who believe this will make it all the way to the end of the books (and may be feeling more than a little bit burned by American Gods). PS: it's a LONG journey.
Gwendolyne is fine. Her as Lucifer was absolutely wrong. The Dynamic was underwhelming. Lost all the drama from the books. The character seemed more like it was concerned with fashion than ruling over Hell.
@@yousofzaid872 i didnt say he was just like this. Im just saying that both lucifer are basedin the dame character, I can explain how lucifer in the comics and the one in Luicifer are still the same, but spoilers. Look I love the Sandman series but I just find there's a lot of homosexuality I don't mind a little because we are in a new world but I just find it overdoing it and another thing a lot of race equality scenes come on let's just stick to the story I'm not trying to bash nobody but I would like to just watch something with not too much of that involved keeping on the story just saying
Martin is someone who sets up a great joke... and then botches the punchline. Gaiman is a literary genius who has reinvented multiple genres with intelligence and determination. Big difference. Martin can't finish one story. Gaiman has created multiple universes that have lived, breathed and died at his call.
ehh i wouldnt say so.... while i agree that Martin should of finished ASOIAF already... theres also the fact that ASOIAF and the rest of the lore and worldbuilding around it, its much bigger in scale compared to anything that Gaiman has written.... they are completely different writers in that sense
To be fair ASOIAF is much more complex, detailed, and thought out than anything Gaiman has written. The closest would be Sandman but even that pales in comparison to the scope of ASOIAF. Also, after Sandman Gaiman would never write anything half as good. That’s not a knock against Gaiman but instead speaks to the brilliance of Sandman.
@@VelcroReacts American Gods would beg to differ. It's just a taste thing. I loved SOIAF when it started but the books sorta dragged and for me it's clear that even Martin got bored by them towards the (non) end.

@@darkhoursofday6250 Again i have to respectfully disagree, American Gods is a book that i love and also extremely sad that the series got cancelled, But American Gods is an isolated world of 500 pages maybe?
