Thank you so much! I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm 72 years old and trying to learn how to crochet. I tried learning from printed directions, which was OK but your video instruction is excellent! I actually completed my first granny square. Yay!! You're an excellent instructor, thank you again. ❤
THANK YOU! I’ve watch so many other videos and never understood how to do the corners. You’ve made my day! I have 250 6” squares ready to join… now I can!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love your videos.
I'm so glad you made this video. I always just sewed the squares together. That's how my mother-in-law told me to join it. I always wanted to know how to do this right. Thank you so much!
I think I’ve watched part or the whole video at least 60 times! I get on a roll… life gets in the way of crocheting… and I draw a blank! Thank you so much for your amazing support! It’s like having Grandma living next door❤
Thank you for this detailed tutorial, Charlotte. ❤ I like how ignoring that one "floppy corner" until later reduced the bulk that I sometimes see in granny blankets. 😉🙂 P.S. Love the yarn colours you chose.
Hi Charlotte, really great video. I like your procedure on how you join the good ole granny’s. I like there is not bulk in the joins. Got to say I love your color choices.
Okay I must have watched parts of this video 200 or more times! Unfortunately if I don’t work on attaching my squares every night I forget how to do the corners! 🤦🏼♀️ However I’ve just started the 7th row of 12 … 6” squares… how in the world do you deal with the bulk of the squares you’ve already attached!!?? My lap was a fail… the kitchen table wasn’t comfortable after attaching 2 squares. At this point I might complete my blanket in 3 years🤦🏼♀️
I learned how to make granny squares from your post ! Was wondering if this can also work for making a granny square bag with the squares in a diamond pattern?

I watch the entire video. Take your time. You are a good teacher. Thank you!
I love how the center joins look - nice and clean. So much better than my first attempt at a granny square quilt.

I’m new to crochet. When you add a border will the edges look straighter around it? I love how easy you make this look.
